Tell us about it. I had the misfortune to sit through that drivel last Saturday.
And i bet it felt like even longer than a usual game with them due to the floodlight/electrics issue delaying the 2nd half.

Big game on Tuesday for Notts so, like most in this competition, I expect 7-9 changes from the side that played last weekend.

We're closing the Screwfix Stand as well as the Radio Cabs Stand for Saturday's game against Hampton & Richmond. I can't say I can remember closing the Screwfix before but the crowd will be tiny so fair enough.

Can we even make that many changes with the injuries we’ve got? Dennis, Kelly-Evans, Bakayogo, Crawford and Shields will get a game, but not a lot we can do beyond that!

We're likely to play at least half our 1st teamers against FC United just so they don't have 2 weeks off. They are meant to be bringing around 500 fans which will be the most away fans in years (apart from Hartlepool's fancy dress day out).
Interestingly we've apparently been watching one of FC United's players for a while now - so Saturday will be a chance to see what he can do.

Tyson and Fitzsimons too I guess. Shame Pierce Bird is cup-tied.

We asked Daggers if it could go to pens in the event of a draw but they wouldn’t agree to it, so we’ll be pretty desperate to avoid a replay I imagine!

If level with 10 to go, we go 2-3-5 to ensure no replay?

They're having a decent season, scoring a lot of goals so probably wise you don't rest a few - unless you want to get knocked out that is..

Soooooo guys, you know this manager of the month thing, does it carry on into the Trophy? If so we will oblige the oblictory defeat against Daggers. So we can resume on Tuesday.

Cheers

Would expect us to put out a very strong team at Farsley Celtic.

We will struggle to score but dominate possession. Basically same as most league games. However, we may find it harder to dominate possession and harder to score without Jack Taylor :surr:

Would not be at all surprised if we lost this one.

it goes one of 2 ways - you either win all you games despite it - or you have a really bad month and lose to someone like Ebbsfleet at home

A strong team out for us today, mainly because we haven't got anyone else available. 4 on the bench including the goalkeeping coach and an academy lad who hasn't been in the 1st team squad before.

Not sure what I was expecting from the FA Trophy, but Michael Doyle from 50 yards in injury time definitely wasn’t it. Wow.

I don't mean to bring Barrow up again, but we won 7-0!

Two weekends running. FC United were abysmal and their players were mostly knobheads. Great day.

The potential banana skin against FC United ended up being another easy 7-0 win and a bit of target practice for our shot shy team. Goals from Brad Barry, Josh Kay, Rooney (2, 1 a penalty), an own goal and Dior Angus (2). Byron Harrison played the whole 90 minutes and held the ball up reasonably well, but had a penalty saved.

We could have our lowest ever crowd for our replay on Tuesday.
