I feel even better than after the final whistle Saturday now. Fully vindicated decision to throw it.
Not quite got off scott free though, a nice 3 match ban for one of your goons coming up. I've lost count, to be honest, how many times Wrexham's thugs have ended up with 10 men when they've played us. Probably time the FA looked into it. :ds:

A player who is garbage and hasn't played in the league for months.

Yeah, will definitely affect us that.

Tell you what - I'll write to the FA and propose a swap. You can come to us and Carshalton can play Sutton - that's always a tasty one.

No offence to Notts but that would be far more interesting. But we need to win tomorrow night first

Dread what our attendance will be for tomorrows replay, lucky if it’s 300. People have had enough, I don’t know one person going. Had Sutton not charged me £17 Saturday I might of gone at the £10 replay price but not spending £27 on two entrance Trophy games in space of 3 days, other costs excluded.

Any reason why the match is now segregated and Sutton fans will be charged £5 more?

Our safety officer loves to be a bit OTT so not surprised one bit. Totally pointless being segregated, my guess is the normal away end is completely shut but still makes no sense, zero chance of anyone attending let alone any trouble.

If any Sutton fans are going just go in home terrace. Problem with our ground is you can’t just walk all the way around it.

Barrow losing 1-0 to Atherton Collieries.
Seems bizarre given Barrow’s current form, maybe they have their reserves out or something.

Ended 2-2 - we only played 2 1st teamers - replay will probably played on 2nd round day

Atherton will talk about their 2-2 draw against Barrow Reserves in the way we proudly recall our 2-1 FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round demolition of Micky Mellon's Tranmere.

Incorrect.

Micky Mellon was only responsible for their wins.

Any team to beat Tranmere during their time in non league did so against Gary Brabin’s Tranmere Rovers™️.

Chorley lose 4-3 on pens at home to Matlock.
Holdroyd scores with a twice taken 120th min pen to send it to penalties - then misses the last penalty to prove he is still useless after all and send his side out

I've watched some tripe in the FA trophy over the past 6 years, tonight's and Saturday's games were right up there. Like watching 2 Northern Premier League teams, which it effectively was.

No, no, no! This is on a par with Mickey Mouse Macclesfield declaring their win against Swindon in 2014 a "Giant Killing". :ffs:

I'm not sure how it's happened, but we've managed to have a match postponed in January in both of our Step 4 seasons so far due to a team in our league making it into the January round (Bedford last season, Halesowen this season). Considering how few Step 4 make it that far, the odds of that happening seem absurd.

it's still to be confirmed - but looks like our replay will be on the 7th January - If so the Dover (H) match will be postponed (again)

Made a meal of it, but finally got the better of Hednesford.

The chances we waste are ridiculous. God knows how many crosses we put in to the box in 180 minutes against them.

Bit harsh that, decent quality game and Alty just couldnt convert enough of their chances second half which we dominated,.. Farsley defended very well and nicked a couple of soft goals. The footy was far higher quality than any NPL club plays.

Well, the two sides are the last two champions of the NPL.

I don't know Farsley well enough, but that Alty side last night was essentially the NPL winning squad, only without two of the NPL winning squad's most influential players.

It was a very meat-and-potatoes game, maybe less than the Saturday game, but only because conditions were better last night.

We beat Atherton 2-0 with goals coming from a Hardcastle free kick and a Hindle penalty and will be at home to FC United on Saturday in round 2.
9 changes from Saturday. All the players who were on the bench Saturday started and 5 of the under 23's were in the 16. Nice to see our captain Josh Granite back in action after his bad injury against Sutton at the start of November.
