I don't mean to bring Barrow up again, but we won 7-0!

Two weekends running. FC United were abysmal and their players were mostly knobheads. Great day.

No no. We’re out of order for bringing up other teams and on behalf of the forum, I’d like to apologise for that.

So, as you were.

There's no stopping Barra this year me thinks. I might as well start the welcome back Barrow thread on the L2 forum, I see no reason why I should wait any longer tbh.

As you've all just seen, great winner. Tough for Daggers to take, last kick of the game after working hard to come back from a goal down. We deserved it overall though.

Very poor result for Chester going down 3-0 at Royston. Clarly not bothered about the comp.

Glad we're not the only Step 2 side who Royston have put 3 goals past in the trophy. They've knocked ourselves, Boreham Wood and Chester out in the past 3 rounds, that's some going.

We were pathetic, couldn't complete a pass to save our lives. Hardly put in a tackle either.

Our bog heap of a pitch will benefit hugely from Tuesday’s replay

As expected, we fielded a strong team and kept possession well but couldn’t score more than once to get the job done.

Was expecting a tough game to be fair, and it will be very similar in the replay. Could go either way in front of a paltry crowd of 2-300.

At least we’re in the hat :2thumb:

Certainly didn’t set up for a replay, played our best available side with a 3-5-2 formation most attacking we’ve been for 18 months now Taylor has gone. If only we had a decent striker probably would have had that replay.

Glad we’re out now need to concentrate on staying up, decent striker needed first.

Good work Darlo. Cracking crowd at Dorking!

When’s the next round? Wouldn’t mind Aveley, Royston or Leamington if they win the replay.

I thought we deserved to win fairly comfortably and generally played the better stuff, but you had some good spells in the second half and definitely looked a better side than when you came to ML earlier in the season.

Having beaten two NL sides, I think it’s only fair that we get Royston or Aveley in the next round now.

It's sad to see our blood brothers losing like that to mickey mouse outfits, still, if it means you can kick on in the league and get back up this year, all well and good.:cool1:

That's not the case. They absolutely murdered us. We desperately wanted to get to Wembley. One shot on goal for us, No Asante ~~ no chance! The fans are disgusted and this result is worse than the 8-1 at Blyth and the 0-6 v Stockport.

Surprised to see Ebbsfleet get the better of Kings Lynn with ten men. Great winning goal for Notts County!!

Kings Lynn were, in the main, pretty dire. Expected far more considering the respective league forms of the two clubs to be honest. Charming lot they were too - the red card came after a melee which seemed to be started by a KL player kicking a Fleet player in the head when he was on the floor (no card for him, but a Fleet free-kick given), before Blackman apparently assaulted the KL defender so badly he was in agony for all of 20 seconds to get sent off. Didn't see the incident as there were a lot of players in the way, but the same chap tried to get a few more Fleet players carded in the second half with similar falls to the floor following routine challenges. That, plus the Number 10 running on to a ball supposedly played back to the Fleet keeper following a head injury and several other instances of 'wankery', meant the scoreline felt pretty justified.

Feels weird still being a part of this competition in January, until our replay with Leamington tomorrow at least anyway.

Should we do the unthinkable & win another cup game this season a nice home draw against Notts County or Yeovil would be decent for the income.

Another home Surrey derby would be nice for similar reasons but since we knocked out Woking in the last round & apparently Sutton didn't fancy the same fate so they let Daggenham send them out instead it leaves Dorking as the only other potential Surrey opposition (if they beat Stockport in their replay).

Definitely do not want any of the lower ranked sides like Aveley. We've done an amazing job in both FA competitions this season to not get our arses handed to us by someone who on paper we should be beating so it would be a shame to end the run like that having beaten higher ranked teams Dartford (FA Cup), Macclesfield (FA Cup) & Woking (FA Trophy) so far. Also would like to give Fylde a swerve as we've already been beaten by them this season in the FA Cup.

I wouldn't mind a Home draw against Kingstonian....
