When Crookes first came to us he played at centre back albeit that was in one of Aspins much loved 5 man back lines. He’s a better defender than people give him credit for just at left back he doesn’t really have the attributes to do what Askey wants in his system. Alongside Legge in the middle he’ll be fine.
Don’t want to write Brisley off based on yesterday too much, rusty and unexpectedly thrown in, he’s generally been ok in the leasing for example and was part of a solid Notts side a couple of years back.

Do we think the reason homophobic remarks and more likely racism seems more prominent in the Premier league is due to more eyes and cameras etc or is it just genuinely worse?

I didn’t see the need to chuck in Right wing either E10 - homophobia doesn’t sit on any particular political spectrum.
More fans = more idiots = more abuse. Simple numbers game, plus it’s easier to feel like you’re going to get away with shouting things amongst a larger crowd.

As for my ‘right wing’ comment, the racist homophobes that plague Orient’s support are all BNP/EDL stone island wankers. Perhaps I shouldn’t have extrapolated it to other clubs.

Brisley wasn’t great when we had him. Nice left foot, but slow, indecisive and uncombative.

Defo. Not been announced yet but I think he’s actually back today - ready for Colchester tomorrow.

Doyle later this week I’m guessing - not nailed on but no surprise if he does.

Wellens has said he wants to bring 2 strikers in before Friday's transfer Window. I'm 95% certain Yates is one, but I think the other won't be Doyle but AN Other.

That's my own personal opinion based on not a lot so we'll see how that pans out.

We have signed goalkeeper Ian Lawlor on loan from Donny. Our current keeper is a howler waiting to happen so makes sense.

Looks like we’re in for Danny Johnson from Dundee. Nothing like signing another reasonable Conference-standard forward to add to our collection.

Wellens has said in his press conference that Yates is in the Rotherham squad for tomorrow night's game. Our incomings are likely to be Wednesday now.

Hey so are we, do an old brother a favour and let us have him will ya!

We’re trying our best to get out of THAT hellhole.
Sorry good sir, I've been told we've got him and will be announced soon................For what its worth, if we'd got John Akinde then you'd have probably got Johnson because we'd have Akinde instead of him.

I think it says how shit the rest of us are (those below Bradford) when Bradford are imploding yet are still comfortably better than us.

So Bradford could actually not only give one promotion rival a huge leg up but then go and aid another one! I’d be asking some serious questions if I was a Bradford fan, becoming a right basket case.

Random thought. Bradford going all in for Will Grigg and having to surrender Doyle and Vaughan?

If true re Doyle and Vaughan it does seem very strange tactics by Bowyer? Could be a case of time to gamble?

Fucking right! Who wouldn’t perk up being top of the league
No I wanted a consistent miserable fucker, ‘we are all shite L2 teams’ etc

Also I promise to give you a pat on the back when Swindon get promoted but only if you conceive the commonly held opinion that L2 is absolutely dreadful this season, honestly it won’t actually take away any joy from promotion admitting it I promise!
