Stockport County.
Wrexham fans can't blame Keates for that. The players need to take resposnbility. Having said that, Aldershot aren't a bad side.

Torquay win a lot don't they? Annoying yellow c*** could be out of sight by the time our squad gets chance to gel.

Have you always been a glass half full sort of guy:dk:
Most Alty fans sort of hoped this brand of footy would work at NL level even with a part time team,.. I think that hope is becoming a reality now. Not that anyone here will be bothered, we have played lots more games but if we keep playing like this maybe playoffs is not a pipe dream :dk::fish:
Come on, even you didn't foresee sitting in 4th at ANY stage of this season, surely?

I'm not sure how it's happened after last season, and I can't quite believe i'm saying this, but what we're going through at the moment is worse than two years ago.
Losing in the playoffs and having a dreadful following season isn't that uncommon. We've gone down twice after playoffs, Fylde did it last year, takes a bit of turning round
if you're in a rut.

Of course not, and on PPG were 12th. But knew we had a chance to get top half at least, 2 weeks ago with 8 players injured you would not expect to be 4th but if you hadnt realised by now,...... our management just keep finding ways to win.

Very frustrating, not sure on the disallowed goal either! It looked a tight one.

Don’t think Denton was quite on it tonight either. Some of them balls that came into the box he normally puts atleast one away but just didn’t seem to be happening for him today..

On another note... what’s up with Virgil Van Hollis!! How has that man been out the team? Absolute rock solid once again

VVH looks like a new man. Said on BB he marshalled Evans and Maguire all game - absolutely brilliant. Its a shame the Dover game is off on Saturday as I think we are on the cusp of giving someone a spanking. Sutton will be a tough one though - hoping to sneak in the home end.

Re. Denton - he looked knackered. Playing 90 mins week in week out is probably catching up with him.

It’s not, people have short memories. Not that this is in any way good. I’ve watched all our home games and thought today was the best we’ve played. Which in itself is a massive problem.
We signed 5 players this week, there’s no chance of him being sacked now. I think he’s got until Christmas.

Not the best from us but a vital late winner again. Although having all the possession in first half they scored with their only real effort of the half. We had about 10 corners too but delivery was poor and Stones defended well throughout . Change of personell and we were more fluent going forward. Walters getting both of them. The sort of result that gets you promotion when 3 points were pinched late.

Maybe a bit of late-night hyperbole fuelled by the frustration of yet another defeat. I'd rather have Sarll than Way any day, however he is increasingly coming across as having run out of ideas. The hoofball isn't working but he doesn't seem to have a plan B even with different personnel. His abrasive and aggressive style of management is risky as when things are going well it's pretty effective (last season on the whole), but when they they're not it can make things even worse.

I agree Sarll will be here for a while longer. If we really do have a £1m debt and afe losing £40k per week then SP can't afford to pay him off. Unless he puts Skivo in charge again.

Thought that was the best i've seen us this season last night, quite how it finished 0-0 I have no idea. Their keeper had a cracking game, and fo a 21 year old lad really looked the part - assume he is one loan from somewhere?

We had a good 3 or 4 chances first half, and likewise second half I think you'll struggle to find anyone that watched it that would say if it finished 3-0 they could have had no complaints.

Promising start under Rowe, we looked a different side and the 3 signings he has made already are improvements to what we had before by the looks of it.

Shame our game is off Saturday as Dover are definitely in there 'there for the taking' category, but I assume when we play them they'll be in the midst of catching up so might be a good time to catch them!

Just seen the highlights from last night and that sending off is atrocious, both tugging at each others shirts just past the halfway line, little tart Osbourne chucks himself to the floor and Odusina given a straight red, never seen anything like it, I hope that ref gets piles.

Says something that the masters of shithousing themselves in Solihull said it wasn’t a red and got lucky. Then Ofosu was completely wiped out in the area, he gives a Solihull goal kick. He then gives a pen to Solihull for a back pass then changes his mind.

Better side until that point, it completely changed the game. Going away to a promotion favourite and more than matching them isn’t a cause for concern. We were just horrendously reffed out of it. Joe Johnson mk2, Parsons is his name I think.

Osbourne has been the biggest cheat down here for years, even more than Matt Rhead or John Pen-Akinde were.

Shaun Pearson was talking a while back and said he reckons Osbourne is the best player in the league.

All of John’s penalties were legitimate!

I remember reading that National League stats gazette they used to put out - this would have been the year Barnet went up, dunno if it's still going.

It had tons of stats including the number of fouls committed, at which Akinde was top, and by some margin.

Hopefully we continue our good form tonight at home to Notts, going to be tough after Sunday’s marathon match but we also did not play for 11 days before that. Would take a draw right now but realistically need to win as the gap to top half will only get bigger.

Lots of the play, decent chances early on, no
goals. Daggers coming back into it end of the half.

Good stream, can see one goal winning this.

Meant to say as well, Balanta always scores against us.

First time I can remember us approaching an away game like this under Ardley, front foot from the off and have completely dominated, just been wasteful in front of goal.

We may go on to lose, of course, but if this is our default approach to all games under NA then any criticism will quickly stop, playing some great stuff.

Unless something changes, Halifax could double their goal tally for the season by the end of the evening..

Probably one of the lowest moments of being a Barnet fan for me, this.

What in the actual fuck is going on.

Yup, losing to The Shaymen is the last straw for most football fans. :ds:

Now that fans are being allowed back to games, at least we will have some decent days out in the NLS.

Done everything but score there really, our best/most positive away performance for ages. Keep doing that and we’ll be there or there abouts.

It’s nothing to do with Halifax, it’s the performance. It’s dreadful, imagine seeing your team in a state like this.
