Awful game between us and Southport, neither keeper had much to do really. Huge win for us though, fortunate as it was.

The winner of the Burr tactics lottery tonight was 3-5-2, later which dumped, with good old 4-4-2 reinstated to inspire two pretty much immediate goals. He'll never start with it though.

would love for him to start with 4-4-2 given the George injury, we actually have options for two upfront now, in Richards, Hannah, Hobson and Thomson.

Lincoln game put me off going to this one and the previous results there. would have been good if it was on a Saturday.

I mentioned the smaller club issue, with reference to small man syndrome, because usually when a smaller man has an attitude problem, it comes from the fact they are trying to belong or trying to prove how tough they are. I think it's the same thing with your need to remind people you beat us and the fact that apparently we are a bitter club because of it.

And as for me not being able to get over it - YOU brought it up talking about the Eastleigh/FGR match, so that's on you.

Believe me, you may be able to get away with speaking for most Eastleigh fans (well, there aren't that many are there?), but I absolutely don't speak for all Tranmere fans and to call our whole club bitter because I have the audacity to think you are a dirty side just shows how defensive you are. (Which comes back to the small man/club syndrome).

Teams have come here and kicked and lumped their way to wins before (See Martin Allen's Notts County and Cambridge last season for the text book definition of that). I know how football works and I absolutely will not take lectures on 'being here for a long time' from a fan of a club who has been here for all of 1 season.

As for Barrow - nope, not a dirty side. Scored their only really meaningful shot on goal and got the points. Funny thing is, they aren't acting like you are about it, because they are a proper club and haven't just reached this level on the back of being some Oxford fan's piggy bank project.

ok, Titch.

It's going to be a real shame his little grin will be wiped off his face for the second time this season then. We beat Braintree, it's the law.

He'll be moving on to bigger, better things soon anyway so the grin will be seen again!

I'm not bitter. You won. Congratulations. You got 6 cards in total - 5 yellows and a straight red. We actually got 3 yellows and a red, but the difference is that it's only 2 players who received any type of card - Lois Maynard took 2 yellows and the red by himself. If you honestly think you're not a dirty side, I feel sorry for you. Ever heard of small man syndrome? Well, replace 'man' with 'club' and I think that's the cause of your problems.

I've got no issues with losing to Eastleigh - you're on a list with Boreham Wood, Altrincham and now Barrow too. However, their fans aren't acting the way some of Eastleigh's are. "Get over it mate or you'll be here a long time". What would you know about it? You've only been here since 2014.
Fuck yeah. :woo::bdick:

Barrow goal was quality, having seen the replay, was harder to appreciate from an angle at the game. Can't complain about the result, though we did create a few chances.

Couple of queries for the Barrow fans;
Who was the guy on your coaching staff, stood closest to the away end, who really started having a go at the Rovers fans behind him when you scored?
and what's the Barrow version of Annie's song all about?

Surely Dagenham & Redbridge is his next stop! I thought he and Braintree would struggle this season, can't believe how well he has done. Took Concord through the leagues with no investment and got them to challenge for Conference South playoffs and now he has Braintree up the right end of the Premier. Every club in League 1 and 2 who don't have a pot to piss in should be looking at this guy should they need a manager.

Cowley's sides as I mentioned at the time of his hiring are incredibly fit (shouldn't be a surprise as he's a PE teacher), they can often grind opposition down with their superior fitness. I'm not sure he's that savvy from a tactical perspective but his sides have technical ability and are aided by his intimidation towards match officials from the sidelines.

Go to 1:25 to see the most blatant penalty not to be given ever. Incredible.

Wow. I think that is potentially the worst conference refereeing decision I have ever seen. Quite an achievement given the competition. I think sometimes you can understand a poor decision based on the angle the referee has, but surely that's a penalty from every angle and for neither the referee or his assistant to give that is pathetic.

3-2 Guiseley. Fucking Hell Wrexham. Another season of Midtable beckons unless you can learn to defend quickly

Stole a point. At home. Against Guiseley (no offence)

No.idea what they do all week but it isn't practicing corners, or any defensive work.

So, you mean to say Wrexham were actually moments from *losing* at home to Guiseley?

Wow. Wilkin In.

Yep. We've gone backwards so fast in the last few games it's incredible. Our 'defence' is shambolic and Belford just let's everything in. Plus we are unable.to take corners. No idea what they do in training all week.

Guiseley can probably feel a bit robbed after tonight.

I wouldn't go so far as to say Wilkin in (horribly boring brand of non football) but at least his teams were organised. Mills needs to do something dramatic as ar the moment he only seems to have a Plan A and Plan A seems dreadfully flawed.

My 8 year old nephew says he's taking his gloves next game, he's convinced he's better than Belford and I've seen nothing to disprove that. I'm actually going to find out if Belford can be sued for going round calling himself a goalkeeper as he makes Andy "Coughdrop" Coughlin look like a prime Peter Schmeichel. Dom Vose looked like he couldn't give a shit most of it, yet still scored 2 goals presumably just for something to do to pass the time. An arms firmly down by the sides type of performance, with newly introduced booing.

Have Wrexham lost 3000 fans in the space of two weeks?

Yeah, they all committed suicide before kickoff when they saw Belford on the team sheet.
