Good to see Guiseley won tonight as it keeps us in the top half for a couple of days (after the last 2 seasons this is quite a rare occasion so I will enjoy it while it lasts :) ).

We were robbed
Our right back, Toulson gifted Vose two goals through stupid errors, allowing him two free shots at goal, a very harsh red card for Rothery who was clearly first to the ball and knicked it away from the Wrexham no.12 who was a dirty niggly shit tonight and got away with it.
But we scored THREE (yes you read that correctly) Three goals - in one game, I feel faint just thinking about that :D
Disappointed not to leave with three points but delighted with the second half performance, we actually started to believe in ourselves which can only be good going forward.

Joking aside, i thought we were in for a proper drubbing tonight, so, phew, I'll take 7-0 all day long thanks. :bdick:
Two thousand. One thousand of that was your lot. Guiseley didn't bring 1200 fans.
Fickle lot aren't they, the North Welsh, a couple of good results and the crowds shoot up comfortably above ours, a couple of bad ones and they plummet back below. Tranmere are going to top the home average - fairly consistent 4.5 to 5k home fans. and more away fans than we get.

Couple of queries for the Barrow fans;
Who was the guy on your coaching staff, stood closest to the away end, who really started having a go at the Rovers fans behind him when you scored?
and what's the Barrow version of Annie's song all about?

We were pretty far away from the dugouts, so it'd be a guess, but we only really have Edmondson (the manager) and Alex Meechan (nearly 40, massive nose), so I'd imagine it was him.

Think this is the song you're referring to:
You fill up my senses
like the back streets of hindpool
like the world famous shipyard
like a bottle of sass

like in ninteen ninety
and two thousand and ten

we're barrow soccer
we'll do it again.

Which, incidentally, is the only half decent song we've got. So embarrassing when someone pipes up with "Barra, Barra, Barra fuckin' soccer" *add that to the tinpot list

To drop from 6.7k to 3.6k, even allowing for the difference in travelling support between Rovers and Guiseley is pretty close to 2000 down.

I think our home support will drop a bit unless form picks up. Can only see the home games with Wrexham and you significantly topping 5k, plus maybe the festive fixture with Altrincham. We don't seem to manage the away followings the Mariner's muster though, outside local fixtures. Would be surprised if more than 250 travel to Forest Green at the weekend.

Has Nolan asked for his loan to be terminated yet, seen as he's also warming the bench there?

Genuinely the most dislikable person to play for us since probably Ben Hutchinson. Looked how that turned out for him....

That's what I said. It was originally put that our home attendance had dropped by 3000.

Part of it is the Wales match the night before (a portion of fans would have gone to Cardiff on tuesday) part of it is Guiseley aren't a huge draw, part of it was that it was bitterly cold, and part of it was that we haven't won in 6 games.

Our fans aren't any more fickle than any others really. But there are a couple of thousands local floaters.

Hopefully they won't make that mistake again, what's not to like about a six goal end to end game? :D

A lot of our fans are treating it like you beat us 6 nil.

We absolutely robbed you of the points though. We need to improve, and quickly.

I've been defending Belford all season but I've had enough now.

Chester fans moan about Worsnop...... lucky we don't have Belford..... worst keeper I have seen this season.

English red... will mills be looking for a replacement/loanee?

We're holding steady above 4k for the moment, but I really can't see it being long before our attendances start beginning with a '3'. Our home gate against Chester was 7,700 IIRC with 6k home fans, but last night we only had 4,400 or so home fans. So you could argue we've 'lost' nearly 2,000 home fans too.

There isn't any big difference between the levels of support for our two clubs.

I have been chuckling reading the many new threads on your forum. The fact is we are not really a bad side, we have created good chances in the majority of games, just failed to take them, then been punished at the other end. Our third goal will give Boyesy the lift he has needed and hopefully he will push on now.
Vose is a very similar player to our Olli Johnson except Ollie has a bit if pace too. We are missing him badly.

Considering we are twinned with them, I don't think it's any coincidence that Barcelona are struggling somewhat as well in recent matches.

I think he needs to, as much for Belford's confidence as anything!

I do still reckon Andy Coughlin is worse than Belford. Immobile isn't the word.
