Before the dollars starting rolling in at Gillingham we'd of earmarked this as a must win, now I think I'd be pretty happy with a point. Peter Hartley suspended after being sent off in his last game in India, yes it apparently counts, Dolan should start as should Dodds, doubt we'll squeeze any attacking signings in before this, hope that Umerah is fit to play otherwise we're snookered.

Expecting a lot of early pressure from Barrow. Hopefully we’ll use their aggressive press against them, but more likely we’ll desperately cling on to 0-0 at the half and then score a worldie.

Other than the Rochdale match (a point from which isn't as bad as it initially seemed following their result at Bradford), this comes as part of a incredibly tough run of fixtures throughout January, in which I was expecting to have a minimal amount of points from. To have four on the board already is a good return. If we somehow get a point here it'd be an added bonus ahead of two home games.

So Steve Evans comes to Harrogate. Not sure we'll let him in to be honest!

Would love to pick up the points but they seem to be very good this season. 2-2 draw.

I think we're in for a hammering, I really do.

It reminds me of the Hull game all them years back (98/99?) where they were that far adrift, I think they got taken over, can't remember exactly, was a lively full house at Boothferry Park and teenage me was there. 4 nowt that day, you could feel that was the catalyst for them. Both of us stayed up that's about all I can take from it but the vibes are similar.

Stockport away. Be a tough game but we’ve taken a few scalps on the road this year so we’ll definitely go there and go for 3 points.

Home to Walsall. Keeper with only a few games for us in the Carabao and Pizza Cup. Lewis is suspended, Mumbongo can't last 90 minutes, Mellon doesn't rate youngster Jake Burton, while Hemmings can't function as a lone striker, so when we're desperate for forwards, it didn't seem the brightest idea to sell Nevitt before this game. Elliot grabbed the winner in the reverse fixture in added time too. In current circumstances, I'd take a draw, but think the Saddlers will prove too strong for us.

Huge 6 pointer game against Pools for us, obviously we have a few additions (I think they do too?), I really can’t call it. But if we lose we’ll be 8 points adrift and staring at non-league face on.

Tricky test against the Barrowers, goalscoring has been a small issue for us in the last few games, we usually control games quite well after making a slow start and hopefully not conceding.

As it stands we still haven't brought in a centre back ahead of the game, but word is we're trying to. Could mean Jordan Brown playing there again - he played well there last week against Doncaster but he didn't really have many aerial duels to contend with due to the way Doncaster played. Would expect Richie Bennett maybe to give him a sterner test if he plays.

Would expect the team who finished last weeks game to start this one with George Moncur on the bench - The last 2 months he has been very off and not the player he was at the start of the season. He's had problems with his widom teeth and illness and he's clearly not trained as much as he'd probably want to because his fitness levels aren't the same as the rest of the team it seems. Need him to get going again.

Yup,we’re always the fall guys for clubs suddenly on the up.
The Hull game you mentioned, the 5-0 trouncing at Brighton on their ’fans day’.
Fortunatley I’m away with the misses for the weekend & will avoid the scores until late Saturday night.

Definitely the right time to play us.

Injury and illness has seen the wheels start to fall off.

I think I'd be happier if this game was in a few weeks time to be honest - yes we've signed a few players but they're literally just arriving and we need to mould them into some sort of team realistically - it's not like we've signed Championship level players who should be fine from the off, we've signed players who are good League Two pros. If we do end up bringing in the likes of Stockley, Marriott and Henry then yes we'll have a pretty good forward line, but until that point I don't think we're anything like the side some seem to think we are.

Personally I think it'll be annoyingly tight but for the first time in a long time I actually believe we'll win the game. We have to.

2-1 Gills.

Home to Grimsby. Expecting 11,000+ to welcome Charlie Austin’s second coming and the joyous realisation we are Lindsey free.

Clash of the titans at Salford tomorrow as Sutton visit the class of ‘92.

Whilst we’re on a decent run of form, our away record still leaves a lot to be desired. Still we should have pretty much everyone who would constitute our preferred first XI available, and a win would take us above our hosts.

What’s the smallest crowd in this division? With the Manchester derby tomorrow I can’t imagine home numbers being at their normal level.

At home to Doncaster. Way too early for Lindsey to have had any real impact on the team (good or bad) but it will be interesting to see if the alledged racist players are allowed to start (that's my take from Eben's tweet).

The usual long injury list means we will not put out a decent side without them.

I dont know what to expect tomorrow.

Just shy of 1,000 off to Stockport tomorrow, looks like the forecast rain will clear by kick off which is a bonus

Harrogate on a Tuesday night against a southern pub side that doesn’t travel well (Sutton, Crawley, Colchester etc.). Their game with WAGMI attracted a mighty 1,304 to set the low bar for this season.

After the Doncaster horror show, Newport at home has to be 3 points. With 3 points between us and 12th place, we have to be winning these games seeing as we barely pick up points against the top teams.

Frustrating 1-1 draw.

A point at Swindon would be nice, but we rarely play well there. I remember a 3-3 some years back, got a meat pie thrown at me as I celebrated our third going in.

No idea about Bradford at home. Loanees out including Ryley Towler who will be a massive loss. Numerous recalls and loanees in. No idea on what's happening with Ayoub Assal but if he's on his way out, less than a million is a poor deal.

Hope he doesn’t play, he ripped us apart like Dack used to do at Gillingham.

Sorry about that. My accuracy has diminished with advancing years and a meat pie nowadays would play havoc with my heartburn.

You should do pretty comfortably. I was hoping we could possibly keep it tight and frustrate you, but looks luke our keeper is being recalled by Arsenal to be loaned out too Sturm Graz in Austria. We heavily rely on big Arthur in goal, he's been nothing short of sensational for us. My prediction Mansfield 3-1 Crewe

Our game against Donny is off, chucked it down all night and forecasted to all the way until kick off, pitch already has puddles.

I know everyone will say tinpot etc but we actually have a decent playing surface here.

Yeah, it's chucked it down but I wonder if there is an ulterior motive.
