Clean sheets doesn’t automatically mean great keeper - more like great defence. I know we’re all biased but I honestly doubt there’s a better keeper in L2 than Sol Brynn. He’s way out on top of the stats for saving expected goals.

I know we’re all biased but I can honestly say that Tomas Holy is no where near being the best keeper in League 2.

I'm absolutely fucking fuming still. Trains in a complete state getting out of London as there's no direct ones to Swindon, so the WhatsApp groups are awash with madcap routes involving getting on trains to Bristol then changing at Reading or Didcot Parkway so what should have been an easy 55 minute direct journey becomes a 2 and a half hour ballache. Don't get time for a pint and you get to Swindon and it's so cold and windy such a shithole it feels like you're watching football in Cleethorpes or somewhere. At least the ground isn't far and at least we're there for kickoff though. Maybe the players can give us something to cheer about?

LOL.

I can't even be arsed to really go into the match. Just dire from us. We missed Luke Waterfall yesterday, absolutely no way Austin scores a free header in the box to make it 1-0. I don't know what the fuck Amos is playing at for the red, letting the ball run across him. He must have not known the Swindon player was there. If so why is nobody giving him a shout? That's the most basic thing a defender does for a fellow defender off the ball. Push out when the ball goes forward and shout man on...it's drilled into kids up and down the country as soon as you start playing football. And then we just collapse.

The support was absolutely fucking shite too. I walked away embarrassed to be a Town fan yesterday. Too many people just sat there passively. I think it's perhaps one the most I've ever tried to get chants going and they were just falling flat every time. Usually I don't have to attempt to start them but nobody else was bothering.

One of the worst away days I've ever had.
But apart from that did you have a good time?

Our record clean sheet holder is Ben Williams and he was average at best but had an unbelievable defence in front of him. Lewis is 10x the keeper.

Not sure who Crewe goalie was yesterday but he pulled off two absolute world class saves.
Dave Richards, he's not played all season due to having Okonkwo on loan from Arsenal who's been unbelievable, but he's just been recalled and sent out to Sturm Graz in Austria, hopfully Dave can continue his form from Saturday as he's got big gloves fill.

As for the game, a good point for us, Mansfield had a couple of spells where they put us under real pressure but never really sustained it. Cracking goal by Mellor, crazy amount of swerve on it, Roberto Carlos esq, but I. Guessing it was probably more due to the wind then any amount of skill.

As for the Mansfield sendind off, It looked harsh, it was probably an Orange card, very cynical challenge but I wouldn't say he was the last man.

Bang on.
When we came up,our clean sheet record was fantastic, but it was down to the defence, not the keeper.

When ever someone mentions 'clean sheets' I think of the poor people who live in Scunthorpe who have to dust off iron particles from their washing because of the Iron Works cloud that engulfs the town.

OK, not anymore but it used to be like that.
