First time we’ve been ahead in a game since the Southend game on 19th November. Bloody hell.

Chesterfield in a very good position now.
Can't see past them for the title unless Stockport have a late charge.
We need to try and get 2nd or 3rd.

Bugger, thought I'd have a daft bet when I saw the side we were putting out.

Neither can I. I try and divorce myself from bias as much as possible when predicting (lol, I know) but our strength in depth is very impressive for this level and I think it’ll count come season end. If we keep Tshimanga + Asante fit we win the league, I think.

Great win that, would have been quite easy for the levels to drop off after last Saturday's "cup final".

Got to try and stay on the coattails of super power Halifax.

Absolutely Chesterfield's to lose. They've already started engraving the trophy.

Barnet have been doing well recently...that's a really good win.

A few teams will have been looking at us today hoping for a slip up...nice to disappoint them

This division is relentless

Why this team needs a bollocking at half time to get going, I've no idea. Hope it doesn't bite us in the bum at some point. Nice to score a few goals though, and can't wait to see Jeff Kings strike, sounded like a right worldie. Kabongo refinding his scoring touch after a stupidly barren run of 3 games is good as well!

Rest of us getting Buildbased out of contention, a very smart tactical withdrawal from Rowe and the boys.

Second half performance absolutely outstanding, looked a completely different team from the first half which was a bit crap from both sides really… not sure what Rowe said or whether it was Whittles substitution but it definitely did the job!

Tshimanga and Asante on the scoresheet and a rocket from Jeff King (huge deflection mind)..

Barnet looked decent going forward first half but 2nd half they looked a bit shell shocked from us coming out all guns blazing in the second. Onto Maidenhead we go…

Today taught us the one thing we already knew, we’re a 1 man team and Mcatees absence over the past couple of months has been the number one factor in our slump.

1 goal and played a huge part in the second, just hope we can keep him in the side for long enough to give us a shot at the play offs

Typical Dover performance, did ok then fell apart at equaliser
Poor crowd poor ground- there was also a Woking-style barrier collapse

Chesterfield were pretty ruthless in the second half and exposed our shortcomings in midfield and attack. Additionally Brennan’s substitutions didn’t help and caused us to play in a particularly aimless way.
King’s free-kick was a worldy indeed and he took advantage of our keeper faffing around in getting ready. Chesterfield look very strong to me.

We got out of jail there. Awful first half. As bad as the one at Needham Market in the Trophy. Gifted a pen which never was and then decided to pass it back to keeper, so awful it was. It looked like one of those days.

Two bits of quality saw us get two goals in the second half. The opener for a corner that never was.

Shit crowd especially with bugger all PL games in London.

Thought we might have held out after the pen miss
Was a bit odd to see a corner given before your 1st goal
we created nothing in the 2nd half, not helped by 3 17yo on bench & 1 making his debut

You were jobbed as it wasn’t a penalty in the first half and that corner decision is arguably the worst decision I’ve ever seen, Jackson totally skied the shot.

Far too slow from us today and a concerning lack of movement. However, we had to win by hook or by crook and we did.

I thought the crowd was over 1,000 today so surprised when it was announced as 940. Excellent atmosphere from our end in the second half, especially once the equaliser went in. The wooden fence panels really need to go, thankfully nobody was hurt.

When I saw the goal I thought ‘Wow, we’ve missed McAtee’

But then I realised that Wooderson said he was overrated so maybe we’re actually all wrong

Re crowd, I keep hearing that we are announcing the wrong numbers as we keep forgetting the kids/youth tickets. Halifax and Stockport under recorded and second half today seemed a lot bigger than announced.

At least one Chesterfield fan watching The Shaymen at Alfreton today, rather than his own team. Completely understand, I can't keep away either. :ds:

Just back from Barnet.

First half pretty scrappy, but also even both sides had a couple of chances although I think we missed a sitter with Kabongos double effort.

Miller struggled I thought and was rightly subbed at HT and we looked a different side. Clear we had a bollocking I reckon as we looked very good and could have had 5/6 if we didn’t spend the last 10 minutes trying to score a contender for Puskas award every time we attacked trying to walk it in. Great to see Kabongo and Asante on the score line, our first and third goals were great moves. Thought Kings goal was a worldie but seen a video and it’s taken a slight deflection but still a good strike!

Onto Maidenhead Tuesday, a team we have always struggled against since being down here. Have we beaten them yet in our 4 previous meetings down here?! I saw us lose away there once definitely

Tell you what, Oyeleke has been out of sorts last couple of games since he picked up that calf injury but he was absolutely back to his best. Bossed midfield from first minute to last, when he plays well, we play well. Massively important to us
