I will be going to Eastleigh v Wrexham.
Hoping for a full ground, 4-4, 1500 away fans and wild terrace scenes.
Do not disappoint me lads.......

Hopefully we'll win this one just for the craic to send them on their way after the farce of New Year.

I think we have definitely benefited more from the two postponements the you guys. Yes we didn't make muh of an effort to get the game on NYD but the there really wasnt much point. The pitch was full of snow and the pitch would have been unplayable anyway. The game a few weeks back apparently was all down to the Match Ref. Incidentally its the same ref tonight so....!:dk:

I bet it'll be a right barrel of laughs at our game.

Wrong of me to say so, but I think I'd take a loss if it meant Moyses resigned. Win, lose or draw makes no difference to us now - we've got nothing to play for.

I'm worried about next season already.

I really am looking for a win not just for the obvious reasons but I really like Lincoln as a club and lets be honest they arent a Midtable Conference Premier side which they have shown themselves to be in recent years so if a win tonight not only meant three points but Moyses resignation I am all for it.:)

I think the more betting-inclined community on here have to consider making an early play on us to go down next season if by some miracle Moyses is still in a job.

Like Luke, I'm just generally worried all round. This has been our best squad since being down here, to me an outside play-off push shouldn't have been too much to ask for, yet even the top half may look out of reach now. People will point to our budget as reasoning but look at what #TheMaccMachine2015 have achieved - it helps to have money but not a necessity.

Nothing will change until the board leaves in my view - I can't forgive Dorrian for what he's done to this club, ever.

Don't see a draw as that bad a result for us. Especially when we are up against a side that draw as many as Bristol Rovers do and we have the luxury of a superior goal difference. Could be a the difference that allows us to lose to Alfreton away and still stay top if Macc/Rovers ends all square.

That said, I'll take the win.

Despite people having differing views on Simpson, his signings weren't really *that* bad. Don't get me wrong, there were some clangers but no more than you get with most managers. His loan signings were pretty sound but he couldn't really get the squad performing as they should have been. One thing that didn't generally happen, even in a loss, was lack of effort. There were very, very few times that happened.

The players now, going off other comments because I've not made many games since in the last 3 or 4 months, have totally given up the ghost and there's a lack of effort and everything you'd associate with 'losing the dressing room'. Defensively we've not improved a massive amount and we now can't score when we were free scoring under Simpson and in the early days of Moyses reign. We were physically strong under Simpson, we're not anymore.

Moyses transfer dealings, on the whole, have been terrible. I'll give him Adams and getting rid of Kabba but Ledsham shouldn't have been allowed to leave because we were thin on the ground in CM anyway. Audel was the second best defender at the Club and didn't play despite our best defence, Miller, being injured. Marsden from Southport has been a waste of time and money, as was Davies from Fleetwood. Waite was a stupid move as well, and this Cranston guy appears to be terrible as well.

The other problem we've got is it's a group of coaches rather than a manager. Moyses basically 'carries the can' and fronts everything to protect Brown and to a lesser extent Schofield. I'd only keep Preece, personally.

It's one of these situations where someone, whether the Board or Moyses, have to make the call that this little, as it is at the minute, gamble hasn't/isn't going to work.

Simmo's a great scout, and to be fair to him had us playing some decent football for the first few months of the season when he was in charge. Then we got found out and he had no idea what to do.

Simpson problem is he's no good at interpersonal skills, no end of ex players from his spell here as manager and his previous spell as Keith's assistant, he was very good at picking fights with the players and when manager would drop a player and not tell them why, pretty much blanking them until recalling the squad.
His coaching sessions were just a volley of verbal abuse towards the players.
Dorrian is biggest problem with the club, for a supposed successful businessman I sometimes if he's knows what day of the week it is.

There's a pitch inspection at 2pm to see if the pitch at the Shay is fit for our match tonight. What's the consensus on that Halifaxians?

I was going to say 4-4 & 1500 away but I think it might be more like 1501 away fans and 6-0 to Wrexham. Theres a good vibe at the club today.

Mr Scooty! Can you remember the Rockin robin bike around? What game was it? My brain has lost all vital information such as this spectacular event.

Yes I can and it was utterly sensational. I couldn't remember who it was against either, but an internet search informs me that it was York City. Rockin is wearing the Super League shirt that we had for two seasons from 1998-2000 in that picture, and we played York at home twice in that period on December 2nd 1998 in the FA Cup and on February 20th 1999 in the league. So take your pick. Our next game against them was in 2003, which is way too late. The robins were heartlessly binned long before then. Booooooooooo.

Unchanged from Sat
Stack; Yiadom, Stephens, N'Gala, Muggleton; Vilhete, Togwell, Clifford, Johnson; Weston (c); Akinde.

So another 4-4-1-1 hopefully defensively solid line up.

Halifax have been the better side, both teams have hit the post. We have been sitting too deep, every clearance is coming straight back, we need to push up more.
