Ok I'm keeping a copy just in case it goes walk about. Hope no one had already planned one.

Telford V Gateshead
Telford are gone and this game will probably make sure the coffin lid has been properly nailed down. However Gateshead have had a long run of two games a week and their recent away form hasn't been amazing. I suspect Telford will give them a good game but ultimately fail to pick up a point
Alfreton V Lincoln City
Have Lincoln gone on their holidays? If they have then the resurgent Alfreton will take full advantage and begin to leave the bottom 3 with too much to do.
Chester V Dartford
Sounds like Dartford are another relegation team that have lost hope so are unlikely to get anything against a team that are solidly safe but appear to be still interested in playing
Dover V Altrincham
Two teams safe in mid table and appear to know it. Alty have definitely gone off the boil and Dovers only recent victory is against Kiddy who are bottom of the form table
Eastleigh V Wrexham
Eastleigh are definitely in the hunt for a play-off berth and will want to get back on track after a narrow defeat ended a decent run. They are against a Wrexham team who appear to be gearing up for their big day out, maybe a few players are trying to win a starting berth and it's made them hard to beat. Still Eastleigh to win.
Halifax V Barnet
After losing a 2 goal advantage late on Halifax really need a result here or the playoffs will in all probability be out of reach. They haven't won in 5 games but also have only suffered one defeat, suggesting a solid team that's hard to beat. Barnet hope this is the last of a tough run of games, have regained top with a game in hand and will see this game as a free hit. They will go for a win on what will be a shocking pitch crying out for Barnet to play exactly the way the fans have begged them not to. I expect this to be a war of attrition and it's certainly not a game I would place bets on.
Torquay V Braintree
Almost a mid table special, however both sides are close enough to the drop zone to feel they need a win. Torquay have been poor for a while and while Braintree have a poor looking recent record, a look at the results tells you they have had a difficult run of games and acquitted themselves well in suffering narrow defeats, beating Gateshead and drawing with Forest Green.

Good effort there mate. Enjoyed reading that.

Really looking forward to this one. Think we are playing Lincoln at the perfect time and have a chance to pile the pressure on Moyses. We seem to be on a roll at the moment and Saturdays clean sheet was a thirdin a row. Unheard of for us! The first time ever at this level. Quietly confident we can make it 4 wins and 4 clean sheets.

Fingers crossed our Reduction Admission flat Rate of £10 for Adults and Concessions will draw in a decent crowd but with Saturdays poor show I dont expect many Imps to travel and Mansfield,Chesterfield being at home and Derby having a crunch clash with Middlesbrough I dont hold out much hope to be honest.

Need a Halifax win but I can't see past a Barnet win really. The pitch won't be a problem for them because Akinde is exactly the type of striker you need on that pitch and he just happens to be their big strength too.

Would far prefer a Barnet win, we can't catch them but can still be caught by Halifax, let them fight out what looks like a four way battle for the automatic promotion slot. Wrexham will have a few more fans when they play Eastleigh, at least cheering from afar, hopefully they can do us a favour and secure an away win!

How about we both settle for a draw?

I wouldn't be unhappy with a draw at Halifax. We'd be a point in front with our hardest remaining match out of the way.

Win or lose for me. Win is effectively two results ahead, draw makes little difference. Loss is just chalk off the game in hand and count ourselves lucky to be still top after our poor run.

Last 3 midweek games have been crap performances and results (0-0 v Southport, 3-1 loss at Gateshead and 0-0 v FGR) followed by really good Saturday results.

So expecting that Eastleigh will roll us over easily and then we'll beat Lincoln on Saturday.

OK, a draw will suit both West Country clubs, just about...all happy!

...as long as you let me keep a win for Wrexham.

As long as Barnet drop points in some way, I'm pretty happy so deal ;)

Unfortunately their win at Eastleigh was a big turning point, sort of expecting them to win tomorrow night now - leaving it well and truly in their hands for the final seven.

Our all time leading goalscorer Michael Wilde is being inducted into our hall of Fame at half-time during our match against Dartford. 46 goals in 66 games during our initial period. Worth going just to cheer him. Absolutely amazing bloke.

This one thing I admire about Chester fans approch to there reformed history. There's been some proper heroes in our ranks in the last few years but there's a reluctance among the supporters to afford them full blooded Halifax Town legend status because there success was in what they consider pub leagues. It's a real shame.

You don't know we're a reformed club?

Yes, thankfully the club aren't so ready to throw away our history as you are.

'The supporters of Chester FC are the guardians of the clubs heritage and believe that our club is a continuation of the original Chester FC which was formed in 1885. Like other supporter owned clubs, we believe that a football club is not simply the legal entity that controls it. This is, and always will be, our city, our community and our club.'

Ok, please yourself, but I'm a realist not a sentimentalist. Our club, which has a long history was formed in May 2010. That doesn't mean that the like of Rimmer, James,Talbot, Draper Dale et al don't mean the world to me. We were wound up in the High Court or was that a mirage. I understand the ethos of the history, but Chester FC is a fan-owned club which is now in it's 5th season. That's not an opinion it's a fact That's my last word on the subject.

If you dont beat us tomorrow DSL you never will, the majority who are out of contract appear to have told the manager they dont be here mext season, Newton leaving seems to have given some of the others ideas above their station, bloody shameful attitude.

Very much agreed, but shirley you'd be the first person to describe steps 2–4 as pub leagues?

Not true ... we were a pub team until we got back here according to our local neighbours and until we did them on the pitch.

I bet it'll be a right barrel of laughs at our game.

Wrong of me to say so, but I think I'd take a loss if it meant Moyses resigned. Win, lose or draw makes no difference to us now - we've got nothing to play for.

I'm worried about next season already.
