Games coming thick and fast for everyone now, our squad is looking large enough to cope (no major injuries yet). We appear to have a good blend of young talent and old heads for balance, Ollie getting them fired up, interesting times coming for us. Seven loan players in our 29 man first team squad.
Yep the games are set to come thick and fast. That is why it is devasting that FGR will have four 1st team players missing for next two weeks, kept apart in isolation.
Up till now FGR remain undefeated but with so many players missing a loss in next few games seems likely.
FGR have played a lot better this season than on Saturday and with a full 1st team would very likely have maintained a strong promotion challenge.
We could lose next four games due to Corona isolation and end season mid-table.

I've just been told that Mark Cooper tried to get match postponed but the EFL refused.
Seems they are toughening up their attitude towards clubs with players missing in isolation.

Another game, another abject failure for the manager who clearly has lost it.

a goalkeeper that can’t keep
A defence that can’t defend
A midfield that may as well no exist
Him playing bowery all the time whos basically a fat donkey
Keeping said fat donkey who wouldn’t know what a football was if it smacked him in the face on over Nicky Maynard At half time
Dreadful football
No tactics
No hope
No ambition

cheers Graham, bye for now
Someone posted the highlights on our forum and. I have to say I’m genuinely amazing how shoddy the defending was. Sunday league would be a compliment. Very unlike Coughlan, must be on borrowed time right now

Which is fine, as long as the same rule applies to all...I guess any positive results would need to be confirmed to the Football League, but the issue could be if teams exaggerate the number of players who have been in close contact with the player having the virus.

Yes we were shite, and no we have not usually been this bad.
I’ve been away the last week, so not seen the highlights yet, but surely not as bad as v Cheltenham? Still a number of players missing for one reason or another. Did Lewis deserve to be sent off, some suggestion it was harsh?[/QUOTE]
