Same old Chris Wilder, loves conceding a late goal

Well done Northampton, hopefully see you next season

Get in there!

Not sure what the fella is on about regarding singing, ridiculous comment considering how quiet Rovers fans were. Well done on throwing bottles and smashing the advertising boards.

Thought we deserved a win but got nervy and let Rovers back into it. Good result for both in the end, suspect Rovers will get the 3rd automatic spot.

We were poor for 70 mins, not sure why we don't start well in away games.
DC seems to know what to do to change things but not how to hit the ground running from the start, we will need to improve to get an automatic slot.
Well done to Northampton, should have beaten us but thanks for the point (which could prove crucial)

Hitting our keeper with a bottle after they scored! Good turnout and noise at 0-0 and 2-2 from the Rovers.

Delighted we're up. Bossed the game from 15-75 minutes and should have won it comfortably but got nervy and couldn't hold on. Was an odd situation as I was walking round the stand at 89 minutes telling other fans we were up!! The people who knew invaded the pitch and it was great scenes on there at the end. League one, we will be champions and deservedly so.

Good riddance!

There's enough anti-football teams in this division as it is.

Congratulations to the Cobblers - easily the best side in the division this season by some stretch; despite the stumbling, on the beach, quaffing the champers, thinking of the open top bus ride, finish.

Gotta sure up that defence to make an impression next season though folks. You're a much nicer looking side to last year's champions, Burton, but you need to aspire to their relentless stubbornness at the back now.

Happy with a draw, means we're still in touching distance and grasping a point from that position with 15 minutes to go should give us momentum.

Game could probably be split into quarters. I was very impressed with our display in the first 15 or 20 minutes, very attacking and took the game to Northampton. No real end product though, very frustrating as if we had taken our chances it could have been a different game. Middle half of the game (25-70 mins) were dominated by the home side. Can see why they'll be champions, seemed a step ahead and they have a few players who are very, very intelligent on the ball. We struggled quite a bit in this spell. Great character from us to come back though, massive point in the long term I reckon. It'll be very hard prizing second spot from Accrington, but after that I certainly think we can do it.

Congrats Northampton, huge achievement. Very up and down season for yourselves, glad to see it end on a high :)

Thought we was pretty poor. Gave to many sloppy balls away but fair play to northampton they've bossed this league and would love to see you next season but I agree with most. It didn't really have the ' we've just been promoted' kind of atmosphere to it. Strange

Think that was because we didn't actually know we'd been promoted until a few hundred fans had run on the pitch. After your second most of our fans thought we'd not gone up, but Wimbledon's goal against Plymouth meant we were up

Well done Northampton. You are now in League 1 which is only slightly less shit than League 2.

And for the avoidance of doubt, League Two must be awful because the team I support is wherever they are in the league, which is a damning reflection on your own teams.

To be fair, I thought you needed to win to go up, so I was really confused when fans started going on the pitch! Didn't realise it was subject to other results.

Congrats to Northampton on a well deserved promotion.

I agree with 'Gashead'a few posts above. The game had 3 distinctive periods.

I thought Rovers started the brighter and had the better of the first 20 minutes. However the Cobblers goal on 23 minutes seem to really knock the stuffing out of us because from that point - until we pulled a goal back on 75 minutes - Northampton bossed the game.

The great cross and superb finish by Taylor seemed to lift us. For the last 20 minutes we got on top and an equaliser looked a very real possibility. It eventually arrived 3 minutes from time and I thought we might even go on and win it after that.

Got to be happy with a point after being 2 down against a quality side.
