I wasn't nominating Plan 9 sorry! I was jokingly suggesting it as the greatest film ever starring a wrestler!

For some reason the maximum number of selections allowed in a poll is 10. As we have had 13 film nominations I'm afraid there will be no poll. So please select up to 3 of the following as your votes and post in bold the selections if you don't mind. I guess I will have to count.

Braveheart (1995) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112573/?ref_=nv_sr_1
I Spit on Your Grave (1978) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077713/?ref_=nv_sr_4
The Bad Sleep Well (1960) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0054460/?ref_=nv_sr_1
Cape Fear (1962) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0055824/?ref_=nv_sr_2
Law Abiding Citizen (2009) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1197624/?ref_=nv_sr_1
The Salvation (2014) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2720680/?ref_=nv_sr_1
High Plains Drifter (1973) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068699/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
The 36th Chamber of Shaolin (1978) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078243/?ref_=nv_sr_1
Le Samourai (1967) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062229/?ref_=nv_sr_1
The Revenant (2015) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1663202/?ref_=nv_sr_1
The Great Silence (1968) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063032/?ref_=nv_sr_1
The Bride Wore Black (1968) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061955/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Le Samourai
The Bride Wore Black
High Plains Drifter

Was there a deadline for nominations? How the fuck am I meant to keep abreast of all the developments in this thread, particularly when the rules seem to change every other day? Grumble, grumble, moan.

Aye, I posted it a few days ago. If you've a film in mind I'm happy to add it to the list and if folk who've already selected fancy it they can edit their post as I've not tallied the votes yet.

le samourai's got alain delon in it, aka the most beautiful man in the world.
I've kept it on my computer for my mum to watch as she used to go weak at the knees when she saw him, I can see why tbh. Its a very stylish film as well, well worth a watch.

I also forgot to mention that in the event of two films being tied in the voting the film we watch will be decided by who triumphs in the women's cricket match between England and the West Indies tomorrow afternoon.

I'll go with the flow.

Not a film buff and probably watch nearly as many films at the cinema as I make the effort to see at home (i.e. ignoring the "nothing better to do, what's on/available" choices). Although I miss most of the popular ones and tend to go for more foreign language or quirky choices, I did catch The Revenant and have seen High Plains Drifter loads of times. Apart from Cape Fear, I wasn't aware of the rest on the list.

Whatever the vote I'll probably now try to watch Le Samourai and the Bad Sleep Well. I'll probably need some persuading to spend time watching I Spit on Your Grave. That's what Film Club is about isn't it?

The front cover has a woman with a very nice bum on it.
