THOD (13, 4hp) vs Natch (4, 1hp)

Natch was up against it here. Having just suffered some severe burns, he aimlessly ran out straight into Dom's path. Dom takes his time lining up his shot... and fires...

It catches Natch in the throat. Dom stands over Natch, who is gurgling up his own blood. He's fucking done. Dom doesn't even wait until Natch is dead before he starts to turn out his inventory...

The Hand of Dom has killed Natch!

THOD takes:
3 Throwing Knives (3, 10, single use item)

Which, with only one arrow left in his quiver, suddenly rearms him, making him all the more dangerous for Veggie Legs and Mr Elmo. He's got one shot left... but those throwing knives aren't exactly a laughing matter.

But then things get even better for him... as he finds Cardsfans body...

THOD may help himself to any of the following:
2 Arrows (6, 1, Must be combined with a bow/crossbow)
Bow (0,60, Must be combined with Arrows)
1 Bullet (0, 1, must be combined with Pistol)
Large Flask (100/100)(10, can be used to hold 100 water, can be drank at any time)
Pistol (10, 60, LOUD. When used, everybody will see your location on the map. Must be combined with bullets)
Can opener (5, used to open cans!)

If he wishes to take any of this/drop any items to free up space, he must let me know via PM before moving on.

But yeah... basically, he's found 2 more arrows as well as that fucking gun with one bullet. Game, set, match? Or can Veggie or Elmo pull off the impossible?

We have a fight...

And as if things couldn't get easier for THOD, it is:

Veggie Legs (6, 1hp) vs Mr Elmo (5, 1hp)

Basically, this fight looks as if it's to decide second place, unless we get an absolute miracle.

It's spear vs spear. They both keep a distance from one another, poking and prodding here and there but neither man able to find an opening. Veggie kicks some dirt at Elmo which blinds him for a bit, allowing Veggie to get in close and twat him over the face with the end of his spear, braking Elmos nose. He spins the spear around and thrusts it down... but Elmo rolls out of the way and with a wild swipe manages to give Veggie a deep cut across the calf that sends him down to one knee. Elmo gets behind Veggie and starts to choke him with the handle of his spear... he's pulling tight...

In his struggle, Veggie drops his spear... and everything begins to go dark. His bag falls off of his shoulder... but his lead pipe falls out of it in the process, and fortunately rolls toward him... he just about gets his finger tips to it before he passes out, and gives Elmo a stiff shot to the skull, which produces a horrible cracking noise. Elmo is absolutely out of it. Both men catch their breath and get to their senses...

Elmo is still laying down, and Veggie suddenly gets on top of him with his pipe and raises both hands in the air... and then feels a sharp pain in his gut. He looks down... and Elmo has quickly pulled out his knife and buried it deep in Veggies mid section. Elmo pulls the knife out, and Veggie falls off of Elmo, onto to the floor... Elmo gets up, gets behind Veggie and grabs his hair...

"Elmo's got a knife, mother fucker"

A sharp cut sends a red stream of blood down Veggies throat. Veggie bleeds out.

Veggie has been killed by Mr Elmo!

We are down to our final two! Mr Elmo and The Hand of Dom... Elmo is going to need something special to pull this off. Surely it's just a matter of time now until THOD finds Elmo and puts and end to this?

AW LORDY LORD, that fire goes a bit nuts today. Both I7 and G7 are burned out...

G8, h7 and h8 remain. Deadline for this will be 11am tomorrow. Unless both Dom and Elmo get their PM's to me earlier, in which case I'll just do it as soon as I can. Even if either of you don't want to move, let that be known to me in your PM's and then I can at least do the update ASAP.

Elmo wins and takes THOD's gun. #Fate

Cool, both replies are in... but they've managed to avoid one another.

But they did not avoid... fire!

Mr Elmo is in G8, while THOD is in H8. Both squares take flame... but not entirely. It's almost as if the flames are guiding them to H7... they both run to the square, and meet each other. There is nowhere else to run from here.

This is the final battle!

As there are no more squares to run to, Mr Elmo and THOD will fight over and over again until one or the other is entirely out of hp.

Round 1: FIGHT!
Mr Elmo (5, 1hp) vs The Hand of Dom (13, 4hp) - THOD equips his pistol! This takes him to 15 fighting skill!

Elmo charges at THOD with his spear, with nothing to lose here. THOD whips out his pistol, points it at Elmos kneecap and blasts. Elmos knee shatters in a bloody mess, and he goes down. Dom then casually throws his three remaining throwing knives at Elmo, hitting him twice in the back and once in the right arm. He then fires three arrows into Elmos motionless chest... and then his final one takes Elmo right between the eyes.






















Mr Elmo is dead. The Elmomaniacs in the crowd fall silent.

The Hand of Dom was expected to last about a week in the arena, so has utterly silenced the game makers in shock with the fact that he's managed to walk out of this thing as the winner. A whole bunch of lucky finds (mostly involving beans) though, and he has managed to not just triumph, but dominate, coming out of this thing as the winner with 4hp still in the bag.

Congratulations to The Hand of Dom!

And of course, well done to Mr Elmo for making it so far, when you really seemed to get fuck all given to you by this game. Again, Elmo was only considered to last about 2 weeks, so he's done great to make it to second place.

And a big thanks to all who took part. It was a little slower going than I'd have liked and (particularly to start with) took a lot more work than I expected, but fuck it, it'll do.

Definitely, but I decided to go as I knew I was pretty much double the strength of the rest of you due to I was fed and watered, and you lot only watered.

It would have been incredibly unlucky for me to lose, (though with Spires luck I was taking nothing for granted) but fortunately for me, it worked. Once I had starved you all of food, I was always going to maintain strength providing I could kill someone to take their weapon.
