No fixtures over Easter this year? That is a bit rubbish..

First away game is Fulham, August Saturday 3pm.. perfect.

Just about everything else.. urgh. Bristol City & QPR (again) both Tuesday nights. Plus the computer somehow landing us away at Boro on the final day for a 12:30pm kick-off for the second season running. Absolutely farcical!

Brentford away on Boxing Day is pretty decent no?

You're scarred for life now.

I had an account on there a few years back, the #8ktohillsborough and the 'well sell 4k easily' posts made me chuckle and a little scared.

I think we'll probably get close to 4k to be honest.

Edit: Also, where are you finding these comments? Just had a look on OTIB and couldn't find anything. Probably being thick, as I only had a glance as I'm out.

Based on what? the best you brought (4.5k) in 2004 was on the back of 11 straight wins since then :

1108
610
535
533
452

Hardly screams 4k pal

Even accounting for it being opening day (you took 655 to Sheff Utd last season, albeit on sky) that's a hell of a jump.

Sheffield United last season was an early kick off on Sky.

And I seem to remember one of those games being on Sky, where we won 0-1.

I think with it being the opening day, first game back in the Championship etc, it'd probably be around 3k.

But - we'll see.

We know we're one of the smaller clubs in this division but I think we always travel well. I think 4K is a little ambitious but I think 2,000 from us is a realistic and good effort!

Should be a good game! Looking forward to it, love a trip to Hillsborough.

There will be about 1800 city fans there. Now can we talk about something else? Thanks.

Now, Rotherham...

I actually said close to 4k. I'll stand by that for the first game of the season, between 3-4k, and we'll wait and see.

What's the maximum allocation? (Not that we'll need it)

Yeah, that should be a good one. That said, can't make Boxing Day fixtures myself due to the lame excuse of family commitments, plus I have already done GP multiple times (including twice last season). Am sure plenty of others will be eyeing it up though, albeit there is the issue of no trains..

I think there will be 1,500 Bristol City fans.

I reckon you're underestimating the strength of support for Bristol City. There are, after all, two clubs in the city and in their catchment area there's also Newport County and Cheltenham. Even though there's a lot of building work going on at their ground, I'm quietly confident they'll pull in more than 1,500 at home. Double that or even triple it, mate.
