been away for a while, busy, imo we deserve 6 points out of six, gave away 3 shit goals vs fcum and missed yet another pen in both games! Kidderminster will need to adapt to life in the CN, they cant just throw themselves on the floor in every game! their no.4 and no.10 were the main culprits, watch out!

What the hell happened at Halifax? 3 men sent off in that game.

And 0-0 much better performance from us along with one of the worst refs I've ever seen.

Firstly books us for stopping a counter, fair enough it's a yellow but they did the same thing 5 minutes before and got nothing. Then somebody lunges and stamps Carter above the ankle we're all expecting a red to be shown but the ref doesn't even deem it a yellow we then get a booking a minute later for a shirt pull. Later on in the game Chorley get a pen god knows what for all I saw was Keith Lowe was pulled to the ground but thankfully Hornby got 2 solid hands to it this time to save it.

We looked better just lacking that final ball think we need to change to 2 up top.
to be fair I don't have a clue what the pen was for, no need to worry though, cos we've had 9 pens in 9 games this season including pre season, and only scored 3 or 4!

apparently, there were only 84 cfc supporters there yesterday, sounded like a lot more! Nice enough ground but food massively overpriced and overrated, £2 for a chocolate bar!

Evenly matched for 40 minutes, but once we took the lead, there was only one team in it. As usual, we were always dangerous from set pieces. Great for Mark Beck to get off mark on his debut. Will get plenty of chances with Galbraith's delivery. As good with a dead ball as anyone i've seen for Darlo.

Hardly throwing yourself to the floor when you get taken out above the ankle.

You came to Kidderminster and are judging the food on the price of a chocolate bar (that is incorrect to my knowledge. I think they are 80p)? Did you try the pies or the soup?

If you went to Kiddy and bought a chocolate bar rather than any of the other food then you really need to reassess your life.

Yeah the food is expensive, but you're not paying for a snack at the game, you're paying for a tasty takeaway meal. I've not been there for a few years now (I'd like an away tie in the Trophy this year...), so I can't say it's still definitely the same, but I've seen nothing to say it's significantly deteriorated since my last trip.

Can we get Kidderminster in the FA Trophy? Been a few years since I've been to Aggborough too but the cottage pie was well worth the price.

So we kick off the midweek games at Curzon with a home game vs Darlo.

Been a very good week in the end, should have grabbed the 6 points but to be fair this could have been a horrific start after 8 goals shipped in within first 120 mins of season, so 4 points from 2 away games is excellent return.

Darlo will be tough, but I am hoping Curzon are determined to rectify that last home game embarrassment

After the first game I didn't expect you to have the same points as us at this stage :bl:

Does anybody have a link or at least know the league table? Seen a few different tables and have no idea which one is now right.

Hi mate. Flash score and FWP are Correct. BBC and Sky are wrong. The issue is the Wednesday night game between BPA and Curzon. It finished 4-4 but SKY and BBC have it down as 4-3.

Your right DSL its that wed game causing problems.

As long as that point counts in the tables that matter.

And I also didn't expect same points Harrier, I was just hoping for 2 draws to halt rot, or minor defeats to get to the home games, 4 points is a good bonus

We've signed a 26 year old CB called Richard Sho Silva. He was on trial here and we've signed him from Philadelphia Fury and then we've sent him on loan to Halesowen. Seems like a pointless buy considering his age and we're sending him out to Halesowen.

We draw 2-2. It's just what we do.

Again, I'm cautiously optimistic. All these teams are supposed to be among the favourites and none of them are beating us. Bearing in mind I started the season thinking 5th would be a bloody good effort, this is a reasonable start.

1-0 Darlo after about 2 mins, should be 2-0. The Curzon defending is horrific at best

Curzon 0-1 Darlo at half time, a hard report to say so far.

The game aspect is pretty even, but chances wise Darlo are all over us and had 10 odd chances to our 2 and should be 2/3 goals up.

Curzon are just too sloppy, far too sloppy, cause their own problems as they try to make a simple pass and do it so badly it sends a Darlo player away with little to stop him........got to stop making numerous errors, its why Darlo are creating much more.

But Darlo better first half, look dangerous around box, Curzon infuriating tonight.

That was a frustrating game for me, worse than Kiddy, they just looked too good for Curzon on the day.

Last night for me was a game we 'could' have won. Game in middle areas was balanced and when we finally got going we should have grabbed goals.

But for 55 minutes we were extremely sloppy making many individual errors across the park constantly......errors which gave Darlo numerous breaks and Curzon no chances on goal.

Darlo looked decent, I am not saying we lost to a bad side in sore loser mode, just that we gave ourselves so little chance of winning a very even game because of masses of errors in first 55 minutes.

3 games out of 4 being sloppy for first half of game, got away with it once. Still I am hoping if we can just dig in these first 10 games, grab what we can and hope over time players read each other better and the bad passes reduce.

Entertaining game, Darlo had lots of good chances first half and we did in second half, but long season for us if we keep sending opposition away on breaks after poor passes.

I felt as though Darlington were a cut above Curzon for large periods of the game. The game should have been killed off.

We took the lead, and then had a number of chances to make it 2-0 in the first half, with Beck being denied with a fine save from Curzon's goalkeeper.

We started the second half well and made it 2-0 after Gillies had rattled the post with a shot. The resulting corner was turned in by Burgess.

Curzon then hit back, with nothing to lose and committed bodies forward. Made it 2-1 quickly after. But then after then we had chances to make it 3-1, with Gillies & Purewal having shots well-saved and Beck sliding in and missing a chance that went wide.

As what always happens in these types of the games is the away team sits back. Curzon committed a lot of players forward and almost scored but your forward missed an absolute sitter. Justice done as a point definitely wasn't deserved.

I'm pleased we've finally done one over Flanagan, who I've found to be quite disrespectful to our manager and players recently and in the past. Interesting write-up in Curzon's programme too about our supposed big-budget and "throwing wads of cash at it" during our 13/14 season, when Curzon won the title.

Have they started referring to you as their "old rivals" yet? In our experience you only have to play them once for that "accolade".
Also, isn't their ground the weirdest and most soulless you've had to go to? :dk:

There was some sort of animosity there in the programme. As if whoever wrote the article had a huge chip on their shoulder about something.

Curzon beat us to the title fair and square that season - and I think 99% of Darlington fans will admit that. Up until last night we'd only played them twice (losing both times 1-0 (A) & 4-0 (H)). With no incident on or off the pitch. The only thing that occurred before we were soundly beaten 4-0 at home was Flanagan running his mouth off on the NPL Podcast show, calling one of our players (who incidentally won NPL Player of the Year) over-weight and lazy.

Their ground was really nice, and the pitch was like a carpet. Shame that they struggle to attract the numbers. The infrastructure there doesn't get the support it deserves.

Ashton United were the same with us when we played them. A huge chip on the shoulder on some of their players and their coaching staff. Must be something in the water down there.

it didn't say 80p on the list, so I didn't buy one, but I did get the aggborough soup, it was very good for price but it was 4.50 for the trays that weren't as good as usual IMO sorry if I offended anyone....
