Well we are obscenely bankrolled and DO HAVE a budget that is around the 3rd to 5th in tge division but hay ho.
You missed the one about a tin pot ex football club that went bust whose fans some of which have wonderfully ridiculous and laugjable illusions of grandeur for a club formed in 2008.
And as long as the club continues with its nepotism, that money will be well on truly wasted on somebody who isn't, never was and never will be a football manager.

Well, I think all of us there today can agree, that was a Football League match we just watched, but what would you expect when 2 Football League clubs face up to each other. :bdick::bdick::bdick:
Wrong. One ex football league club, stockport. Halifax formed in 2008 jave never been in football league

Sorry to pop your balloon sweetcheeks, the FA disagree with you, hence we were allowed to compete in both FA Cup and FA Trophy in 2008. #Awkward.

4-0 win but was kind of a game of two halves for us. First half we were't up to our usual standard. But we went in 1-0 after an Andre Brown goal. Second half was a completely different story we dominated Nuneaton but took a while to grab our second. Elton Ngwatala picked the ball up inside our own half and even though he was tripped he carried on running and it a screamer from about 20 yards into to the top corner. Then Nuneaton folded as Ryan Croasdale intercepted and ran past 2 before putting the ball passed the keeper. Finally the easiest goal Elton will ever score after Mani headed against the bar and it fell to Elton to head in on the line.

Cracking win and keeping up with Fylde and extending the gap over the the teams outside the playoffs.

Curzon very quickly becoming my second team. Beating Fylde last week and Darlo this week.

Good game today. Although Halifax had the one and only clear-cut chance in the entire game I reckon a draw was a fair result. Happy we managed to keep a clean sheet against a side who have been scoring for fun recently. Good atmosphere too. One of the few games we get to play these days that actually feels like a proper football game instead of a Sunday league kick about.

When great and historic Football League clubs like ours play each other it IS a Football League game, whatever it says in the programme. No Tin Potter will ever see our grounds rocking the way they do when we play each other. :bdick:

Ridiculous really with two sides that have many in both the goals for and against columns to come away with a 0-0. I even joked this would happen but never expected it. Felt very much like two sides not wanting to give any ground in the battlefield first half. Second half we got more of a grip and did have the better chances. Thankful a little to the fact that Stockport take a truly awful corner evey time beacause we are not the tallest defending them without Dents on the pitch.

Did your so called proper club who are still a new club pay off all the debt when they went bust in 2008, probably not. Do forest green, flyde, fleetwood owe and debts, no they dont.

Dunno, did Leeds in 2008? Middlesborough in 1986? Bristol City or Bradford City in 1982? Like I said, the FA disagree with you, making your OPINION worthless. Thanks anyway. :bdick::bdick::bdick:

Middlesbrough never went bust, narrowly avoided by present chairman steve gibson paying off debt. I rember halifax, previous version in football league, you were hardly setting world on fire. If the fa thought you were same club you would not have started in the evostick. Middlesbrough or any others mentioned were not promoted. Wikipedia even 2 enteries for the club, pre and post 2008 versions

Are you still pretending Harrogate is a real football club in a real football town? Go get me a pot of tea for 4 please oh and can you cut my sandwich into those little triangles you do. I'll have a cream bun too please. Get it right this time and there's a big fat tip for you. :bdick:

Away from the fact you wouldn't get into Betty's, are you still pretending you support a team with history, let alone the ability or support to be a football club above many other non league clubs with better support, grounds and a heritage that spans more then 9 years?

Had that whip round for Rastrick High school yet?

Thank you. Saved my time putting the Halifax day dream believer right.
Just another northern non league club.
Laughable thing is when I was a kid and they were in the league all the city and terriers fans thought of them as being a non league side.
Shame some of them don't seem to accept their history.

Totally correct. It is an ongoing truth that most at the club don't seem to get. Like a nepotistic twilight zone of repeated failure, where the vast majority can't realise what the obvious issue is with buying a club for you son to show year after year he cannot manage. No amount of signings, bigger budgets, transfer fees paid, 3g pitches and now full time contracts will make even a stopped clock tell the right time over the course of a season.
We will be fully laden with internationals in the year 2025 and bravely battling for a play off spot on the Weaver Conference North division.

Wheteher this guys fishing for a bite or is really defending this club but a few fans of other phoenix clubs and other once great non league clubs think they should be higher due to history and call likes of forest green tinpot when in fact they are a older team with good facilities and playing squads. Would love to see forest green win league as it would stop the same old story that seems to happen every year where its only ex football league teams been promoted. As much as i dont have time for salford and flyde at least they would be a good addition to conf premier

Middlesbrough football club went out of business in 1986, as did Bristol City in 1982 and Bradford City shortly after, hence they are legally Middlesbrough 1986 Ltd, Bristol City 1982 Ltd etc. I don't need an improvised "knowledge" base like Wikipedia to know this, I was there. Please address any further queries in this matter to the FA directly. Thanks. :bdick::bdick::bdick:

Sorry, I've been in Betty's, it's shit. You can't even do a decent buttered scone. Let's look at that 9 years you talk about: 2 league titles 3 promotions, 3 times in play offs, 1 win at Wembley. That's more than Harrogate have achieved in 100 years. :fl:Your only still in this league because some other club screwed up in the boardroom. Now run along, you've used your allotted Tin Potter time talking to a real football fan. :bdick::bdick:

Interesting...

Carl Heeley has stepped down as Worcester City manager after seven years.

Rumours that Worcester fans have been abusing his wife on twitter. Scum.

Big boots to fill for whoever goes in to replace him there. He joined them back in 2007 as a player before becoming manager there and with all of their off field issues, I think he's done really well to keep them in this league. He hinted on the radio last night that he was considering standing down and it sounded like he'd already made up his mind. While it also doesn't seem that they've got a way back into the city at the moment, I'd say things are looking a bit bleak from the outside.

Don't need an improvised site like Wikipedia......lol......to know your club were formed less than 10 years ago.
Did boro and the two city's retain their relevant league membership? Yes they did. Did the proper Halifax Town? No. If you knew ought about the game and the processes around administration and football club holding companies you would know that without a licence to play in the division it inhabits a club is dead. Your first club died. End of.

Humorous too that despite deriding the division and lower leagues like it is an insult on your start up, you now count the pub league wins now.
I know I support a Northen non league club, sadly there are a few who dont get what division they play in.

Haha great about turn there. Now counting the titles won by your made up tin pot club in divisions you normally seem to see as being beneath a club with less than 10 years history. Best of luck getting to that centenary. Even more luck getting to the football league. As ever is fun watching. Maybe you lot and the big club county should go off and form an alternative football league and play each other every week in an ode to your promised land.

Or perhaps you should get used to the tin pot 'Sunday league' teams and grounds being as you are both in the NON LEAGUE second tier and we can all get back to laughing at your illusions of grandeur as you flail around getting embarrassed by us tinpotters. Like the man u fans of non league, all whilst decent clubs like Darlo do it without fuss and more impressively fan wise.

I know I support a Northen non league club, sadly there are a few who dont get what division they play in and seem to have a weird man united complex about where their club should be playing and just how big they are. Darlo get on w8thout the fuss and bring better crowds according to their own I suppose but is at this level a tad pathetic.
Yeah and Betty's is shite ain't it....

Exactly point i tried to put across i.e. what makes a club a new club. I think you have put it better than me. If the fa suspend licence and you reform a few divisions lower its a new club

Don't mention that unavoidable truth. FC 2008 and they know it. The fact they are back at this level makes them even more tinpot pot than clubs and their fans that enjoy and love non league for all it brings.
