Reading the Worcester forum they seem to think this could be a slippery slope to the end. No home, no manager, their only goal threat now gone and they haven't won since November. Very likely to be relegated now.
Sad when you think back to that wonderful old home if theirs.

A lesson to all clubs I suppose on how quickly it can all go wrong. Especially us tin potters.
Was looking forward, as much as you can...to the delights of Lee Hughes on Saturday. Be interesting to what the morale is like with him going.

AFC Telford offically sign Lee Hughes.

It doesnt look good for Worcester when your number one striker signs for your direct relegation rivals who are also in financial trouble.

Regarding bpa. Haven't seen them since we drubbed em 4-0 at the shay (the worst team I've seen all season) but we had all the attributes you just listed and the quality last season but still went down. It can happen, especially if other teams are improving like yourselves and alfreton, much like ourselves, southport, Torquay, guiseley and boreham wood last year. At the end of the season, a team who has worked their socks off will undeservedly go down and I see that being bpa due to them not really picking up many bonus points against better teams unlike some other teams down there.
Halifax had no desire or fight for much of last season. That is exactly why we went down. Only two or three players cared about that shirt in league games. Most were solely focused on staying fit for Wembley towards the end. Our captain being the worst culprit.

We have signed Connor Hampson from Curzon Ashton - think he mainly played at left back for Curzon but I should imagine he will play as left sided central midfielder for us.

Altrincham have signed Micah Evans from Worcester. I'm sure he'll be introduced to his new team mates on the bus to Darlington tomorrow. County / Chorley fans - any good? Obviously that's all relative BTW.

Edit to add - just read the County message boards about him. A selection of opinions:

"As shit as shit can get. I hope you haven't signed him"
"Was pretty much constantly terrible for us"
"There may be something in there but it remains well hidden"
"Bone idle"
And my personal fave, the vomiting emoji.

Most people will tell you he is awful but I actually think that there is above average NLN winger in there somewhere, unfortunately Evans very rarely shows any heart or effort hence why he is at his 5th club in the space of a year.

Didn't impress in his loan spell at Chorley, back end of last season. Lack of effort.

Looks like our game v County is ON! Great news! Good work that from the groundsman. Been looking forward to this one all week. Its going to be very tough against a strong Stockport side but we are very capable of a result and have been improving recently. Think this will be a good yardstick to where we are under Russ O` Neil.

And right on cue, Neil Aspin: "this club could not exist without the chairman putting his money in" - just now on BTSports. Gateshead as Tin Pot as they come. You heard it here first. :£:£:£:£

Shouldn't your focus be on what your bin potters are doing today and not staring longingly at your sweet heart on TV. Ah remember those Aspin days.

I know I do.

Getting hammered by kiddy again.....first game of season we were 5-0 down by 20 mins......this time only 3-0 down, so an improvement

We know your real plan. You want us to go up instead of Fylde.

Worcester looked as bad as their current predicament suggests. Rudderless. We were mediocre. Roll in full time mediocrity.

As poor a display as seen all season in first half, 3 down at half time against a poor FC Utd side, changed system and one player at half time, scored very early second half, battered them and equalized in last 30 seconds of 5 added minutes, had it gone on another couple of minutes we would have won it, but it felt like a win after that first half!

I don't know what's happened to us. Been dreadful recently. No gameplan, no fight, no desire and absolutely no motivation from the manager at all. Rowes goals have dried up and we're struggling. Telford had plenty of chances today and should of took the 3 points really. Anyway, onto another tough game away at Brackley next Saturday

We got away with that today. 3-0 up after 15 minutes against Curzon and we should have been cruising. In the second half it seemed like the players expected Curzon to roll over. They came out at us in the second half and deserved something out of the game. If it wasn't for a really poor free header at the death they would have got a point and been worth it. Need to be better at killing the game off. Pleased to see other results today. Win all of the remaining games and we're champions! :2thumb:

Alfreton 1-1 Stockport (Hearn 90, Amis 39)

Not the best game today. The pitch is the worst I have seen it in a few years. And on a cold and dull afternoon both sides really struggled to deal with it. Credit to our groudsman that we managed the game on.

We are looking so much more solid defensively. Absolutely transformed. You would find it hard to believe its the same time who absolutely cabed in at Harrogate. Tight first half with few chances. Stockport looked the more likely though and took the lead 5 minutes before half time after a good header from Amis.

Second half. More of the same. We huffed and puffed and in truth didnt look like scoring. Stockport looked on their way to a win. A typical away win for them this season I would say. Solid and tough to break down and take a chance.
That was until the first minute of added time when a Stockport defender allowed the ball to go out of play thinking it was a goalkick but the Ref awarded a corner to his amazement. Paul Marshall swung it in and after an almighty goal mouth scramble Liam Hearn poked home to grab a deserved point. Dont think either side did enough to win so a draw was a fair result. Stockport perhaps shaded it but never looked like adding to their lead.

Liam Hearn has certainly popped up with some crucial goals in an otherwise difficult season. Some of the scruffiest he has probably ever scored today and against Altrincham but they have won 4 massive points.

An all time record of the team sheet at 1.15 today and the added time announced over the tannoy. Things that never happened under Nicky.

Poor turnout from us though, even by our standards in a crowd of 993.
Great support from County as always.

We are looking much better and keep playing as we are we wont go down.

That looks to be between Gainsborough and Worcester.
