Would challoner leave fylde if he was offered the tranmere job?

Ive no inside info im curious

Heard a rumor about this earlier. I believe he would give it a serious thought. As well as we are doing and the "££" we have.. we wont ever reach the size of tranmere. Its not everyday a bigger club comes knocking but I hope he still wants to be apart of this project were on. I for one hope he doesnt as because I feel he would try take rowe with him.

Pretty sure Challinor would be off like a shot if Tranmere came knocking. Fylde may have the money, but in terms of size and prestige Tranmere are a world apart. Turning a job like that down would show a lack of ambition. I guess he must also be pretty well regarded from his playing days there too. Although the pretty ruthless way they binned off Brabin may make him think twice.

Theres no secret about how much he loves Tranmere. But when you play over 100 league games for a side then you cant blame him.

Our only hope is that currently they want a manager with FL experience. If none of them come knocking then they may come knocking on our door.

Well good luck for the rest of the season Alfreton

http://www.afcfylde.co.uk/breaking-news-bradley-signs-record-fee/

EDIT Also "The Coasters beat off competition from Lincoln City, Kidderminster Harriers and Halifax Town for the 25-year-old forward, who joins the club on a three-year deal for a five figure sum."

There's no chance we'd have been paying money for someone if we were we'd never beat Lincoln or Fylde.

Very happy with this. Partner up with Rowe and hopefully get us more goals. Still think we need to strengthen defensively but if were going out to out score the opposition then this will help.

I wish Dan all the best as he is a smashing lad who deserves better than us but from our point of view this is a bitter blow. Just highlights the chronic lack of ambition at the club. Selling your best player to a league rival is one of the most negative things you can do. We seem like we are just waiting for releagtion to the Evo Stik and should we spend this cash unwisely thats exactly where we will be heading.

He is going to be a massive miss but I am surprised at Dan. He can do better than bloody Flyde! Well capable of the level above.

Primarily a winger I think?

Hi mate. What was your club record fee? Do you know the amount? You have got yourself a superb player there.

One of our ITK'ish guys is suggesting £40k, which is double what I'd heard we'd bid.

We do play 4-3-3 so in theroy he can play off/with rowe in the forward 3.

I heard rumors that it was around that figure with a few saying slightly more.

Great signing for Fylde. Real shame as we needed somebody like him to create some more spark going forwards instead of hoof it to Denton and give it to Macdonald to run past 7 players to then put in a shit ball. Fylde will win the league. Looked good going forward against us but I agree with coaster as from what I've seen, the Fylde defence needs some work and especially when you have the tesco robber Steve Williams playing centre back!

David Lynch has left Altrincham and signed for FC Halifax.

Just seen that on our forum. Must say, I'm surprised he's got another gig in this division. He looked a trier, but not much more - limited, you might say. I know he's been playing in a trainwreck of a side and could improve.

If he plays well for us, I am willing to give Twin Peaks another go.

Very tough ask at Home to Kidderminster Harriers tomorrow for us as life after Dan Bradley begins.
Kiddy look to have adapted to this level now and will be on a high after consecutive thrashings of Tamworth (Who trounced us 5-2 :hb:)

We have showed real improvement at home though recently and have grafted out via excellent defending and a bit of luck two very good clean sheets victories against Harrogate and Flyde in the cup. We will need the same combination tomorrow I think.

Oh and by the the way Evan fucking Garnett is shit!

You sure did. He couldnt hit a barn door. Useless!

And you lost Dan Bradley that's all your ex Harriers gone for tomorrow thankfully.

You must be confident ahead of tomorrow?

Thought I'd bring this to the north thread. I'm in a weird state being confident but not being confident after what happened last season. But if we smashed Tamworth twice we should be able to beat your leaky defence. And with the lose of Bradley hopefully your strong attack won't be able to get past our solid defence.

On an extremely random note, it'd be interesting to see Harrogate go up and have to play York.

"Former Altrincham footballer Thomas Marshall was sentenced to two years and nine months after he was convicted of conspiracy to import and supply class B drugs, as well as criminal property offences. The court heard that Adam Maybury [leader of the operation] began setting up a series of online websites, which purported to sell sports supplements such as protein and whey powder, in 2012. He started providing the drugs, some of which are legal in other European states, in 2013. In total he established five separate websites to sell illegal drugs, two of which he set up with Marshall".

It adds that "The court heard that Marshall, who had been best friends with Maybury at school, split from the group in December 2013 following an argument with him about money".

Remember him playing here. Never expected him to be dealing drugs.
