Losing 2-0 to Solihull Motors after they pulled the plug on the floodlights with us 1-0 up the other night. Nobody sure why the penalty for the second was given. About 10 people inside the stadium. Dodgy ref. What a time to be alive.

Nothing like a good bit of match fixing.

Gateshead v Guiseley called off again. Postponed unti tomorrow.
Pita!
We also have the county cup quarter final at Tadcaster Albion tomorrow.
Hopefully both are treated as training aids to improve the league performances.

Wouldn't mind a run in this 10 years on from winning it, but not majorly bothered. Tranmere and Hartlepool away move to midweek should we/they progress to R3 and R4, which will be a killer.

Hereford at home is a decent tie, league below (which granted they are doing very well in) and they should bring a few hundred with them. Likely to be segregated which is a shame but needs must.

Halifax v Macc called off again. Luckily very few Silkmen fans have made the trip as I'd imagine they'd be in the ground by now. Time to just forget about this tie and the competition as a whole until the new year. I wish we could just resign from it

Weston Super Mare v Workington in the second round!? Any Workington fans who attend deserve a medal.
Likewise Dover v Marine.

I see a lot of National League teams are through to the second round, just goes to show how strong the National League is this year.

Gateshead doing a good job of tiring Guiseley out for Saturday!

Lost it with the last kick of extra time. Glad we're out of it we don't need the extra games or the distraction from the league.
Best I've seen us play for a long time, we actually passed the ball around on the green stuff and kept possession for long spells. Only poor finishing and a penalty not given prevented us winning in normal time. I genuinely thought we were the better side for a large part of the game.
New system paid dividends once the lads got to grips wth it.

Enjoyed the Brackley 2 - 0 Braintree tie on a cold December night - what non-league football is about.
Braintree obsessed with passing the ball - looked neat but lacked penetration, and got themselves in trouble at the back a bit. I'd fancy us for a good run at winning the league were we in Conf South - but Salford blowing everyone out the water this year 'up north' without ever looking that brilliant - mark of a good team?
Impressed that Brackley are still competitive with 4 first teamers injured - never been this strong in our history.
After 2 miserable seasons surviving on the last day, this season and last is a treat - hope Kevin Wilkin signs for life!
Made me chuckle when supporters were asking the Brackley coach about new signing
Supporter - "where did he come from"; Coach - " erm, can't remember, let me think"; Supporter - "from Barcelona?"; Coach - "nearly, Western Super Mare".

The match against Hereford is to be segregated which is the correct call, Hereford fans are getting the Bulla which is so much better for atmosphere than the Gun Turret end.

I’ve got to say I have enjoyed a Hereford supporter unironically calling us tinpot on Twitter because drums are banned.

Absolutely ridicolous rule this

Absolute Jokers at the FA. 4 weeks on from the original Postponement were told we’re not allowed to sign new players on for this fixture. Only players signed on prior to the original date can play. We’ll be taking 11 then to spennymoor tomorrow. Headloss!!!!!

Cannot even take under 21s.

That rule's always been in place, nothing wrong with it!

Why can’t you take U21s if they were with you at the time of the original date?

We've got Halifax tonight. Couldn't care less about this to be honest. Small squad and would rather concentrate on the league
