well interesting half time scores really.

Boston 3 up vs FCUM who are the side i think in deep depp trouble (they were absolute shocking vs us yet won due to the sending off and now in horrific form)

Darlington i think today out of trouble, 7 points in a week and they are gone

Gainsborough 1-1 with Stockport at present, be an interesting second half because Stockport must be into 'win or season over' mode now.

LEamington 1 up and again looking heading out of trouble

Salford losing........again.

and sadly Tamworth 1-1 at present with Harrogate, but harrogate must see that salford half time score a realise if they want title, this second half could be their moment.

If Stockport/Harrogate score its a cracking day for us without even playing, if either of them or both get something its not a good day.

Certainly relegation for me now looking 2 from Gainsborough, FCUM, Telford, Curzon, Tamworth, alfreton and Leamington.........but personally still think you can remove Leamington and alfreton from that group.

I think for Curzon if the weather improves next weekend is our season in the space of 3 days.....Tamworth at home sat and Nuneaton at home Mon......do or die weekend.

Terrible collapse from Boston.
Far from a disaster from us but we fall a further place to 17th. Tuesday v Telford is Crucial.

Tuesday night is the night when North Ferriby`s relegation will be confirmed at home to Salford.

I was at first very disappointed at tha boston collapse but just checking everything and boy......Boston are in deep deep crap, their next 7 fixtures are horrendous............6 of the next 7 away away and it's all vs sides either in form, or pushing in that top half of table.

then in their last 4 games (when after this horrific run they may need points) they have Harrogate and Salford and on the last day play Telford in what could be a win or down for both!

Well that was some scoreline today considering the conditions, against a poor side, what a quality performance in the first half. Especially with a heavy pitch and through regular periods of snow and a biting strong wind that blew down the pitch most of the afternoon.

Even with the conditions, it was a decent enough game with 6 goals, and if it wasn't for Durrant's fine goalkeeping second-half display. We could have had at least another 4 goals, hats off to him he made some great saves.

Once again Pears made a few good saves when called upon. I thought Wheatley was outstanding today in the heart of the midfield. Pure class.

Couldn't pick holes with this performance today every player was exceptionally good, albeit against inferior opposition who i can see why are languishing at the foot of the table propping the other teams up.

Well done for everybody getting to this match. We were freeeeeezing!
Onwards to Telford next week.

Well as bored this morning i did a random guess as how i expect relegation points to go rest of season.

alfreton - 9 more
Boston 5 more
Curzon 10 more
FCUM 6 more
Gainsborough 4 more
Leamington 9 more
Tamworth 8 more
Telford 8 more

Not mass logis other than most winning their easier home games, except Boston vs Telford and Gainsborough vs Tamworth as they are last day, could be hugh games so put as draws.

That would see NFU, Gainsborough and Telford gone as none would quite get the points to push out, but Boston coming very close based of they possibly grabbing next to nothing between now and end of season, FCUM maybe only saved based on having NFU at home last game.

I see Dino Maarmia is favourite for the Stevenage job after Darren Sarll was sacked this morning. Will be a bitter blow for Nuneaton.

What a joke. The fixture pile up is bad enough without the National League postponing Nuneaton`s next two games. for "international duty". This is the conference North for gods sake. York and Curzon now have games to fit in and we have a disadvantage as Nuneaton now have 10 days rest before we face them on Good Friday.

Still amazed about how good our turnaround has been since Alfreton away in January; we've hit some fantastic form & teams will hate to be playing us at the moment.

Long may it continue. #UpTheDarlo

Apparently the Nuneaton Town 3 players representing their countries over the next fortnight.

Luther Wildin jetting off to represent Antigua and Barbuda against Bermuda and Jamaica.
Kairo Mitchell heading to Grenada to take on Belize and Ryan Johnson heading to Belfast for ties with Spain and Iceland's Under 21's.

York game is to be played Tuesday April 10th and Curzon on Monday April 16th.

I'll second that mate, we've massively improved now that players are playing with confidence and swagger about them under TW. Most likely running out of matches to reach the play-offs this year.
What a season we should have in 2018/19. #Come On Darlo

Some crucial games down the bottom tonight including at the Impact Arena where a win against Telford will put us in a decent position. Anything else and we are in it for the long haul. Very nervous to be honest. Not been this nervous before a game for while. Fingers crossed it beats the weather.

Games need to beat weather now, we’re running out of room.

Could murder us April now with our small part-time squad, we could go down now just based on too much to handle..........may have to just shove reserves in some of the games we’d expect to flog like Blyth away.

Is a huge night at bottom with Alfreton vs Telford and FCUM vs Gainsborough........not sure what is good result.

2 must win games coming up for us this week starting with Boston at home tonight, followed by Leamington (who I think have to go away to Spennymoor on Thursday!) again at home.

No less than 6 points needed in these next 2 games.

Disappointing news is that Gary Stopforth has left due to work and travel commitments, but good news is the recent form of Rhys Turner, Matty Warburton and Adam Thomas.
Need to improve defensively though as we've shipped far too many goals this season.

Well some very interesting scores at top and bottom of table.

Alfreton 0-1 Telford
Chorley 3-1 Spennymoor
NFU 1-1 Salford
Stockport 1-0 Boston
FCUM 1-0 Gainsborough

Disasterous score for Alfreton, superb score for Telford......throws my expected points total out of window already for all sides.

Chorley win means top 7 wide open again, FCUM i think had to win tonight its their only easy game until last day.

and well after a torrid season what a superb point for NFU, officially relegated though after Telford result.

I think most of Alfreton and Curzon supporters will be screaming for a Darlo win down at Telford on Saturday. After that unexpected result down at Alfreton, also with two games in hand on them to add to the mix.

Getting tighter than ever at the bottom half of the table, even as far as Leamington on 41 points.

I am disgusted. Absolute fucking disgrace. Barely threatened at all and Telford were comfortable thoughout. 3-0 would have been about fair. We did not show a bit of interest, passion or desire at any point the players need to look at themselves. As for Chris? Well he looked lost for words in the post match? Did not fill me with any hope and if we play at anything like the level we did tonight we wont pick up another point this season.

First game I have seen in a few weeks. But we looked like a bunch of strangers who had just met this morning. No plan or cohesion at all. Just aimless long balls with no direction or purpose.

We are a shambles. Despite all the players signed this season. No mobility in a disorganised back 3 no creative apart from plan A Daniels freekick. And not attacking threat up front at all

We are limping to the end of the season ad looked absolutely doomed quite frankly.

Credit to Telford. They battled actually looked like footballers and fully deserved their win.

I noticed the only goal of the game was put away by Marcus Dinanga, not sure how long he's been turning out for AFC Telford United. Actually I thought he was still playing for Matlock Town.

Dino Maarmia confirmed as new Stevenage manager. Big blow to Nuneaton

Gary Charles been mentioned apparently, suppose to be have been at their game tonight watching them beat Walsall 2-0 in the Birmingham Senior Cup. Even though Jon Ashton took caretaker charge for the second time this season.
