come on Darlo just need a late goal for them and a good night for us tonight.
Not forthcoming but a decent night all said and done. Telford sounded dire second half and Amari Morgan Smith suspended for Telford1s game next week at the Impact

Id say though if Telford dont sack Edwards after that then he is there until the end of the season.

Nice to see Dan Bradley scored a brace for Kidderminster ahead of his return to the Impact on Saturday. Has he fully recovered from his injuries now?

Tonights results:

Gainsborough 1-2 Brackley
Kidderminster 2-1 York
Southport 3-0 Telford
Tamowrth 0-0 Darlington

Not much changed at bottom, the interesting change is Southport have really pushed themselves in with a massive chance of top 7. granted others have games in hand but Southports current form is making them surge near 7th.

It's amazing what 8 wins in 10 games does to your hopes in a relegation battle! I doubt we'll hit the play-offs though, we've had a run against some of the struggling teams in this league, but our run-in includes a lot of games against sides challenging for promotion, so I'd be surprised if we were to continue the same way.

How has Billy Priestley done for you guys? Behind the transformation in fortunes?

He seems to have recovered fully now. Finally got his goal today then grabs a second. He's been threatening since we signed him but his hard work has finally paid off.

Great win for us after 3 bad results. Also comes with Brandon Hall recovering from his injury. He's been amazing this season and we've missed him for the past 3 games.

Another performance with similarities to Saturday's display, But tonight i would probably have to say a lot worse. Even though it was a game of missed chances from both teams. It's a long time since I've witnessed a Darlo game in which the home goalkeeper leaned against the goalpost with his arms folded most of the night, he had very little to do apart from a Dave Syers powerful strike in the second half. And a Gillies free kick which the keeper easily brushed aside.

After that chances went begging from both sides, during the first period and second. Mills & Styche the biggest culprits, how on earth Mills didn't score when Syers put the ball into the box and Mills somehow missed, when he should have found the back of the net? And Styche my patience is wearing a bit thin with this guy, another showboating display that's simply just not working with us Darlo fan's.

Getting involved with Tamworth supporters on the left hand side of the ground. I think a Tamworth fan patted him on the head when he was retrieving the ball, we were just screaming at him to get on with the game instead of fuckin' about.

No Heaton or Wheatley in the line up tonight and it showed, even though Vaulks had a steady game.
We are knackered without Josh Heaton, standout players tonight, another impressive goalkeeping display from Pears, what a capture he would be if we could sign him on permanently in the summer from Middlesbrough? Trotman, O'Hanlon and Turnbull also had decent performances.

My thought's are Tamworth possibly should have won tonight, but a points a point at the end of the day for us and that'll do for me. They certainly didn't play like a team that is struggling in the relegation zone.

Great credit to the Darlo fan's who made the long trip, without us the Tamworth attendance would have been pitiful.

Davies seems to have turned Southport around quite well? IIRC, bit of a tough start to management but doing well now.

Kiddy fans - Amy Fearn will referee the game on Saturday if it beats the weather. We have had a lot of rain this week and with more forecast for today/tomorrow and the sudden dip in temperatures I would say its touch and go at the moment.
Hope it does get played as Saturday`s game and Tuesday night`s visit of Telford are crucial, defining games for us. If you could be as charitable as you were against Gainsborough that would be much appreciated.

Honestly we don't win away. 4 away wins this season is an issue so I wouldn't be surprised if you get a point or more.

I am starting to think the National League may have to decide soon to extend the season.......got to be getting close to point teams have no space to plug gaps.

We have two home games next weekend and i don't see either on as meant to rain heavy back end of next week after a frost the front end of it.......well plenty of others also in same boat.

When we moved south we lost three players straight away but it was really only 1 player due to travelling distances (Jas Singh). Deaman and Hopper was money really. The league is weaker, no doubt about it but with Torquay, Billericay, maybe Dulwich - could be improved. Away supports are piss poor mind but doesn't help that we've gone from being the most southern northern team to being the most northern southern team.
Look forward to playing you again next year. I like the move south long term - but will be very unimpressed if we start to yo-yo between North and South. Any news on your new ground... seems like a club running out of momentum until that happens....

Salford City vs Spennymoor Town game's looking good, now that they've finally got the pitch covers on.

I'm not sure why they don't extend the season, a prime example is Spennymoor Town with their backlog of games to squeeze in before the 1st of May.

More bad weather and they are in real trouble with their remaining fixtures?

17/3 - Salford City (A)
20/3 - Chorley (A)
22/3 - Leamington (H)
27/3 - Harrogate Town (A)
30/3 - Gainsborough Trinity (A)
2/4 - Darlington (H)
5/4 - AFC Telford United (A)
7/4 - Alfreton Town (A)
10/4 - Boston United (H)
12/4 - Brackley Town (H)
14/4 - North Ferriby United (H)
17/4 - Kidderminster Harriers (H)
21/4 - Curzon Ashton (A)
24/4 - AFC Telford United (H)
28/4 - Southport (H)

Swedish goalkeeper Tim Erlandsson has joined Salford City on a month's loan from Championship side Nottingham Forest.
Erlandsson is a towering 21-year-old who has previously been on loan at Barrow AFC, as well as representing his country at Under-21 level.

Could cost them... our backlog of fixtures certainly played a big role in missing out on the playoffs last year - part time players just couldn't 'get up' for so many games in a short time and then there's the obvious physical toil. Opens up a door for the likes of Southport and Stockport potentially...

Only issue is we have our County Cup final against Chesterfield on that date. Do league games take precedence?

I'd hope so. Neither Alfreton or Chesterfield are going for playoffs so couldn't that be played after the season is finished?

I think as said above they will 'have' to consider soon extending season, its now just not one team who is just unlucky enough to have a cup and posponement backlog its starting to be over half the league.

and problem is no real end in sight, cold this weekend, then lots of rain over the next week will probably put more off next week.

i suppose problem is i think non-league has a strict season time frame does it not??
