How's Moyses done in his first 5(?) games? A few ex-Imps there now with Moyses, Preece, Wood, Hodge and I think Everington is there, too?

Another good result for you nick.

I was thinking this morning that for all this dogged battle 3rd bottom may be enough this season. Is a strong chance either Chester or Hartlepool have to re start which may lead to a north/south play off or 3rd bottom surviving
Yep, good result for Leamington. They seem to be picking up points against the better sides but not against the teams around them! Not sure what would happen in terms of Hartlepool/Chester situations. I think if Brackley are promoted, there's a chance Leamington could be moved to the Conference South? Providing they aren't relegated obviously

Not sure if that would be a good thing or not, at this time last season the exact same talk was mentioned for Gloucester and i think we all agreed that would be a real bonus for gloucester because the south on paper looked much weaker than the North.

but Gloucester have struggled down there, just unsure if that is because the South is stronger than it looks on paper or Gloucester just had a poor season.

He has had 7 league games in charge. W 3 D 1 L 3 so far.
There has certainly has been an improvement under Moyses, having said that it couldnt really be any worse and the improvement hasnt exactly been stark.

We certainly seem to be putting more guenuine effort in. Started off really well with a much needed win over Leamington and a fantastic performance and win at Blyth. After that a really disappointing defeat at Gainsbrough set us back -hopefully this doesnt cost us too much

More recently we have had a tough trio of fixtures against Salford,Harrogate and York. Been unfortunate but we have a soft under belly and give away too many soft goals. Still expect us to stop up but its going a close run thing.

Hard to judge Chris fully as it isnt his squad though. Still a work in progress. 10 massive games left,

You would have had long odds on Spennymoor`s home game with Leamington as the sole surviving game on tomorrow at this point. Thought that have been first to fall victim to the weather.

The pitch at Spennymoor unbelievably and hard to believe passed it's inspection after volunteers cleared all the snow of the pitch covers on Saturday morning. The club thanked Darlington FC and Hartlepool United for helping out with the loan of the covers.

They'll now be used for Tuesday night's FA Trophy replay against Bromley.

The decision was made by the National League amidst concerns for health and safety for the Leamington officials and squad as they make the journey North.

The latter. There are some good sides in the south but better than the north? Nah. We just had a LOT of off the field stuff affect our performances. Ship has been steadied recently.

Currently Salford 1-1 Tamworth.

In a way frustrating if stays the same as an unexpected point for Tamworth.....but it is quite funny watching Salford spend lots and collapse.

Not sure what the weather was like at the Salford game, but the free admission didn't go as well as expected with a crowd of just over 1,000.

An 88th minute missed penalty from Tamworth didn't do themselves any favours.
And 2 minutes later Salford score the winner. Ouch!!

Any idea what the deal is with county cup games.
Heard they count towards suspensions. If so Parkin will be back on Tuesday night.

Our clueless former manager John McDermott seems to have set up his own Pro Coaching Set up called Humber hot shots. I hope he is better at coaching than at management.

Real chance our game at Bradford PA will be called off. There is still 2 inches of snow that hasnt thawed and heavy rain forecast Saturday can see it being off

No, they do actually score quite a few late dodgy goals with a few minutes remaining on the clock.

1. Salford 2 Tamworth 1 (90th min)
2. Salford 2 Bradford Park Avenue 2 (90th min)
3. Darlington 1 Salford 2 (89th min)
4. Stockport County 2 Salford 2 (90th min)
5. Salford 1 Alfreton Town 0 (90th min)
6. Salford 2 Southport 1 (86th min)
7. Brackley Town 2 Salford 1 (90th min)

I thought you would like that last result, even though they scored late in the game :gr: Never underestimate Salford in the last 5 minutes of a match.

Scoring late goals is always a strong trait of a side at the top, although i think half the time it is just down to opposition deciding with 5 mins to go to sit back on a 'superb win/point' and just allow the other side a mass of momentum at the death.

If salford do win the league i would say that Tamworth game could be the one they end up talking about.......2 minutes off a possible defeat and being second with Harrogate having a game in hand to suddenly winning and being top.........but they must still be very worried that they are frankly on a weekly basis 'scraping' results which isn't a top side, top sides do win without playing well, but not normally on a weekly basis for months.

If the Darlo game goes ahead this is the start of a crucial month for us that may dictate how we'll do......mostly because this is our last horrendous period of the season and if we can get through this month we will have 5 home games left in our last 7 games and most of them games vs sides in bottom half.

This month now with them posponements means we have 3 bloody tough away games in our next 4, plus a huge huge home game Vs Tamworth, if we can end March still out of the drop zone and with just a couple of additional points i think we've a good chance. If we go and lose all 4 games we'll hit April with low confidence, int he drop zone and in bad form.......we just need to scrape something, in a way i'd accept 3 losses and just beating Tamworth.......but in another way grabbing 3 draws out the 4, but no wins could at least help for momentum going into the last month.

we'll give Darlo a tough bloody game, we always give most sides a tough bloody game, we'll work hard and to beat us they need to work hard, we'll try and play the right way and we'll have a good deal of the ball.......our problem as usual is we're weak around the boxes, we make mistakes at back and lack that spark up front, otherwise we'd simply not be near danger as our teamwork, morale, work ethic, style, tactics, approach and play are all better than a bottom 3 side....but when you strugge to score and always conceed you get stuck.

Are you attending if it's on DSL? I'll probably head over there. They were shocking in the final third against Ferriby.

Afraid not mate. Rather infuriatingly I am a bit hit and miss at the moment. Well if they can be just as shit tomorrow it would be much appreciate. In real need of the three points tomorrow with the Telford postpoment

Currently raining heavy, with light rain and breezy throughout the morning leading up to dinnertime.
Due to stop around 2ish? So i would imagine a pitch inspection will probably get announced, say about 10am in the morning? So Curzon have plenty of time to travel up to Darlington.

We could do with this game going ahead, especially with our current form at the moment.
