Massive game at Telford. A defeat for FcUM brings them back in to it. Hoping Kiddy,Blyth and Salford can do the business.

We really need to pull a result out of the bag if possible at York really.Fingers crossed.
If the same York that I watched last week against Curzon Ashton show up you should be fine. They were atrocious last week, but as the fella said above better once Parkin had got sent off!

Yours will be interesting DSL because I’d say York’s season could be defined by your game, it’s massive for them, they got a big confidence kicker last week so their reaction will be vital.

Some interesting games for a few sides, Telford have to start winning these easy games and fast, how will Salford react to flogging top spot and that huge lead they had, how will York react etc etc can Chorley or BPA finally put pressure on top 7

As for us looking forward to sat. Was fame I most pin pointed to go to at start of season, then changed mind due to us being unable to muster shots.......now going after 10 goals in last 3 games.

We are playing. Ack the style we did kast season, more offensive passing game and look very dangerous at moment.

Southport will have a lot of inside info and hoping that works against them due to now playing differently to most of the season when we played 3-5-2 go for 1-0’s

We've still not had our postponed game from last week rearranged.

Surely The National League should be stepping in at this point?

Could be another one to add to the list with the overnight temperatures? But should be fine with plenty of sunshine forecast and temperatures rising. Well hopefully? Definitely need this game to go ahead, the pitch covers are on.

Surely it’s a matter of time before the joint Salford managers are gone. What a monumental collapse

They are still odds on at 1/4 to take the league. Plus still have NFU to play next week, and most of the bottom half teams in April.
If they balls it up they are out. Well I'd sack em.

Just helped remove the pitch covers from the ground.

Salford have called their game off against Tamworth due to a frozen pitch.....could that not have been done at midday?

1-1 again no complaints as since our goal the game has been played only in our half.

Southport 2-1 Curzon

Good game so far with chances for both. Southport massivly upped their game after going a goal down, showed why their form improved. Difference score wise at present is an idiotic goal where we passed ball into our own net.

Still goals in this, but thinking if also don’t up our game they will go to Southport

A bad day all round for us really with the scores.

Game wise we were very unlucky but we were very slack in defence and that punished us, plus when we got our moments to score we missed.

Third for them I sortie ignore as it happened when we’d pushed everyone up to score but their second was a ridiculous goal a 30 yard own goal due to shocking mix up between defender and goalie.

Second half was all controlled by us as Southport seemed to defend their lead, but they defended well and we only had one real chance.....mind it should have gone in, skied miles high when easier to hit net.

Oh well we still trying hard, but not enough today

York 1-1 Alfreton

Couldnt go due to work today. Listened to the second half on Radio York and it sounded horrific.

Will take the point but sounds like a missed opportunity for all 3. Other results went totally against us. If Telford beat Nuneaton on Tuesday its going right down to the wire!!

D-Day aginst Telford now on Saturday. MUST Win. Apparently a couple of our players have picked up suspensions so really need Tuesdays County Cup game against Ilkeston on.

What an awful game.If that was a match to repay fans back from last week horror show we are in trouble,Alfreton are very poor but so we’re York might as well forget about play offs.
Without Parkin we are awful.

Completely agree with all of that. You were the better side for 2/3 of the match, but we created the better chances. The only things that seperated the two sides were the comedy/tragedy own goal, and us breaking a tired offside trap whilst you were pushing forwards in search of what would have been a deserved equaliser.

If Curzon Ashton carry on like that they'll have no bother staying up, and would have every chance of finishing above us too. They are streets ahead of both Leamington and Gainsborough who we have turned over with ease recently. They also have Ben McKenna who we should never have let go, and who Stockport were foolish to bomb off.

As for us, there is a feel-good factor back both on and off the pitch. We are nowhere near the finished article, but there is hope for the future given our recent form and off-the-pitch developments. Up until the turn of the year we still looked like we were going to "do an Alty", now I'm hopeful of being safe with a week or two to spare despite our difficult run-in.

Thought you are much improved on last time we played, that 2-2 draw.

I liked your number 10 not a massive goal threat but he moved all over the place and spread out our defence.

You sat back second half and sat on lead which let us have the play, but you defended well we had all of one chance second half for all the ball, but Howson looked as solid for you as he was for us

It's a very different side to a few months ago. Sampson has come on massively with Kevin Davis' guidance, but he is learning from one of the most mobile target men of recent times. Howson does a job, just a solid centre-half at this level. You look like you'v improved too, the game at your place was probably the worst 2-2 draw I've seen!

The only sad thing about today is I heard in the bar afterwards from an honest source that Natalie (our current/your former CEO) received a less-than welcoming reception from your board members. Disappointing if true.

We certainly did do the business today, with a brilliant late goal in stoppage time from Thommo after wriggling his way into the box and burying it through the keepers legs.

Saying that this game should have been dead and buried in the second half. The chances that went begging, Styche missed a chance would have been easier scoring, but he was unlucky after turning two defenders inside out and rattling the post.

Same old story letting Kiddy back into the game with a very fortunate equalizer. Not sure what Pears was trying to do, maybe the sun was in his eyes coming to collect the ball? Actually it was a goalkeepers error that led to our opening goal in the first half. With a right howler coming off his line.

Fair play to Kiddy they played some decent footy especially in the first half, 1-1 would have been a fair result from the opening 45 minutes if it wasn't for our keeper, who made some stunning saves. Standout player for Kiddy was their number 10 he had a bagful of tricks.

No offence but Kiddy's away support was non-existent, had a walk round the ground to check out the new stand in the second half. I was struggling to see 30ish?

Anyway job done three wins in Feb, that'll do for me. Onwards to Tamworth next Saturday for the Tour.

A couple of more new additions in the transfer market during the summer. And we should be a force next season, providing we hang onto Josh Heaton and one or two other players, not the finished article yet?
But far too good for this league. One thing about the Darlo players they are fighters and grafters.
TW has them all playing well for him at the moment, and is beginning to prove his doubters wrong.

"The rest are standing"? Don't you mean "the other guy is standing"? :fl:

Btw, sorry we took Morgan off you only to bin him. It was the actions of a bully who sees a smaller kid with a nicer toy, mugs him for it then throws it in the corner. :bdick:

Been a York fan is never easy and yesterday proved it. You just knew Tom Allan would score against us as an ex player and a community coach at the club.
Going to home games is a chore now and thank God I can't make the next 3 away games (2 though choice & 1 though work).
