On Salford have they thought they might want to buy some covers for the pitch.
Ourselves, Darlo & Lemington hit games on by covering the pitch.
Just an idea for class of 92.

I wasn't at the game but I wasn't surprised by the result. Jonathan Flatt is nowhere near the quality that Brandon Hall is in goal. We need him back asap.

Only saving grace was that Styche didn't score and according to our official Twitter feed fell over as he had an open goal.

We've lost 2 key players before the Harrogate game and it's shown. Along with Hall missing O'Connor is out for the season and according to people at the game our defence was all over the place.

So yesterday was a story of missing defenders for both sides then. We actually were missing 4 defenders in Hunter, Brown, Collins and O'Hanlon who arguably would all be first teamers (Hunter has been out for the season to be fair). Our back 4 + goalkeeper consisted of 4 players under 21 and Vaulks the 18 year old was making his first start. We had two other youngsters in the side, as altogether we were missing 6 players yesterday.

But that's been the story of our season really, injuries all over the place, not helped by the turmoil of Gray leaving and Wright coming in and being all over the place at first.

Now we seem to have "got our shit together" I can confidently say that we are a much better team than the table suggests, and we really have got some good young players coming through - Heaton already looks too good for this level, Wheatley is classy and Trotman gets better by the week. Really excited about next season if we can hold this crop together, add a couple of new signings and get rid of some of the past it players.

Didn't go yesterday, glad I didn't. Had 3 out and out strikers, one winger and a full back/winger on the bench. We ended up taking off a centre half as he had a tight hamstring on 80 minutes. You would think that he would put the more defensive player on. Nope, he put a bloody striker on and 4 minutes later they score...

I wish Jansen would explain how he selects his squad, so unbalanced, no defender on the bench yet Anson on loan at Lancaster, Charnock playing dual Rev at Brig and now Beesley has left, unbelievable!

Another good result for you nick.

I was thinking this morning that for all this dogged battle 3rd bottom may be enough this season. Is a strong chance either Chester or Hartlepool have to re start which may lead to a north/south play off or 3rd bottom surviving

I very much doubt we'll have to re-start. Our problem has been mainly one of cash flow, and the money already raised will probably account for any losses over this season. We will be relegated (purely on playing form) and will have a much reduced playing budget next year. Hartlepool is a less clear case, as their debt is significantly higher than ours and they are most likely to go into administration if they don't find a financial backer. Guessing they will take the ten point deduction for admin this season, in which case they're likely to be relegated too.

Is there any chance Hartlepool could hang on and start next season on -10 points?

Depends when we apply for it. If it's before March 22nd it comes off this season, if we go into admin after it then the following season applies, but we'd likely be kicked out of the National Leagues if we did go into admin as far as I know.

Probably not the overall opinion of other Kiddy fans but I think Eustace is on borrowed time.

He's proved over two years that he cannot motivate the team away from home nor adapt to the opposition and we persevere with this tippy tappy stuff. When it comes off, it's a pleasure to watch, and you buy in to the thought that it is unstoppable, but sometimes when the game is scrappy, you need to mix it up. I'm no manager and won't say what needs to be done, but doing nothing to change the dynamics of the game is increasingly frustrating.
Even when the referee is weak, as seen in recent weeks, we need to take advantage of that.

We had the players last year to win the league, and we have the players now to win the league. You don't get many teams spending £75k on Bradley (playing out of position the majority of the time - in honestly, I don't see where he fits in Eustaces stubborn 4-3-3 system) and accommodating the likes of Vaughan/O'Connor and Ironside on the wage bill.

We have a equally stubborn owner in Gordon, who I have a lot of time for, but I can't see it changing. It's been a weird season as player recruitment at the beginning was piss poor, and we still find ourselves in the play-offs, but I for one don't believe we are playing to our maximum potential. This team would hold it's own in the league above.

If we don't win promotion this season, with the resources Eustace has had, I think it'll be time for a new manager to have a pop at it, as this league is not where anybody at the club wants to be.

I *think*, and Aldershot fans should be able to clarify, if you were to go into admin after March 22nd, it'd go off next season providing you came out of admin by a certain date. It's more about starting a season in admin rather than going into admin itself.

Apparently the match got called off after a certain part of the pitch that they thought would soften up in the 90 minutes prior to the kick off. Not good enough I'm afraid to say.

Surely the rearranged game against Tamworth should be free of charge from these tin-potters?

With Spennymoor's trophy game off tonight do we think the league should be intervening at this point?

5 games behind on some teams. I can see 2 home postponed games for them that need to be rearranged ours and Telford's and with them still in the Trophy they're getting more and more games postponed.

Not mine!
Nuneaton are very decent, we deserved absolutely nothing.
We're in big trouble!

I looked at the result this morning and was more shocked the game was even played and a massive massive well done to the 771 who went to that.........of course 700 odd loyal fans turning out in -5 to watch a team in hideous form wont get a mention, but no doubt Salford will at some point for representing everything at this level.

I personally am thinking relegation now will be between two from Telford, Gainsborough, Curzon and FCUM.......i think the others probably have squads good enough to scrape through to enough points (although some have massive issues to sort or will go down next year deservedly)

I think each has reasons it could survive
Curzon will have good morale, teamwork and energy rest of season
Gainsborough know how to survive relegation battles
FCUM will have a big fanbase making a lot of noise and backing for these big games
Telford do still have a budget to bring in some better players......and maybe have a manager change in them

but will have to see, amazing turnabout with Nuneaton a month ago they were in my '3 games to determine season' but looks like a very tough game now, mind it has no chance being on saturday so they may be crap again by time we play them

Id definitely include us at the moment. We are a very limited side. Reliant on a set piece threat. If Plan A we desnt work we dont offer much else.

You should have a team good enough, it just hasn’t had direction, but I’d say it will still scrape enough.

We will be very unfortunate if we do go down, very unusual to most sides that go. Everyone plays ok, we give most sides a hard game, just lack that quality in crucial areas.

Good aspect for us is I think of them possibles to go down we’d have best chance to bounce back as our side would be too good for level below.

Gainsborough, Tamworth, Alfreton games are biggies now for us

Last Saturday's postponed fixture against Tamworth has been re-arranged for Tuesday 6th March!

Plus there's FREE admission for all the fans. They are hoping for a bumper crowd to turn up!

Hope you get out of it. I was looking forward to travelling to Telford next season. Fish and Chips on the way at Whitchurch.

Weather watch on our fixture on Saturday. Tamworth will make a statement at midday on Friday.
I can't see the game being played this weekend.

You would have had long odds on Spennymoor`s home game with Leamington as the sole surviving game on tomorrow at this point. Thought that have been first to fall victim to the weather.
