Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
I am personally thinking 48-50 points may be needed for survival this season, that would mean both Nuneaton and Gainsborough needing 18-19 points to survive from 13-14 games.......very doubtful

We should probably assume anyone with NFU to play should get 3 points so Darlington, Nuneaton, Tamworth FCUM and Gainsborough probably have 3 more points on the board that it currently is.

Gainsborough may be all but down by start of April, they have an absolutely horrific march with some very tough home games and away games to sides down the bottom. The one side needing to probably not leave it to last day is Curzon who have most horrid game.

Looking at Curzon fixtures i think we have to make most of this next month, 5 of the next 6 matches vs sides around us may be do or die.

Telford do by a long long way have the easiest games, but can they start to win them.

I doubt it will ease your fears too much Dave, but based on yesterday's performance Curzon won't be going down. We were terrible but I've seen several worse sides this season and can't see you missing the cut.

Looking at the league table and remaining fixtures i was thinking in terms of between 50-52 just to be on the safe side.

Like you say anybody who's got NFU will be looking for maximum points, any slip-ups including ourselves would be deemed as a loss, and in all fairness if we can't pick up 3 points against NFU we don't deserve to stay in this league.

Personally I think Gainsborough will follow NFU for the drop? I could be wrong. But they might not even pick any points up in the month of March. What a difficult month for Trinity.

Looking at Darlo's fixtures we've had a couple of good performances in February by beating the likes of Blyth and Bradford Park Avenue, which wasn't really expected, and with still one game to go we've bagged 6 points. Going off our last 6 or 7 performances I'd be very surprised if we went down. If we did we'd only have ourselves to blame, especially with our run in of games against the surrounding clubs in the bottom half of the table.

And Telford have to play Spennymoor away on Tuesday night. Also Nuneaton and Alfreton have tough away matches to deal with.

But who knows It's gonna be an interesting end to the season.

Alfreton 2-3 Salford

Well we lost as expected. Gave it a decent go. Had Salford under some pressure at times but I do think the 3-2 scoreline flatters us a bit.

Todays referee should have worn a Salford shirt today. Bottled a clear red card for Scott Burton on the stroke of half time . Salfords second was clearly offside too.
Salford were the better side no doubt about it but disappointed by the nature of the goals we gave away.

Think we have enough to stay up. But we struggled to create anything of any note in open play again and looked limited and our long ball tactics make us extremely predictable.

Just read the report of your match in NLP. It sounds as though you had a bellend of a ref like us.

Nuneatons and Leamingtons wins werent ideal but I was very thankful for Tamworth`s last minute equalizer v Telford. Keeps us 5 points above the drop zone.

On to Tuesday. Another free hit.

Defenitely. He was too scared to give a decision against the Salford fairy tale. Blow his whistle at any given opportunity and totally bottled a clear sending offer. Several times worse than Fabian Delph`s last night. Had him before though and he was the same. His name? Aaron Jackson.

Harrogate away tonight then.
Not expecting anything at all. Hoping Spennymoor and Stockport can do the business in their games tonight too. Would be nice to put a better showing then last seasons 6-3 thrashing but with up to three debuatnts in the side including the goalkeeper anything could happen.

See,s Harragate are acting up over press passes. We have had really trouble getting with them say you have to be a member of the National Union of Journalists and that you must bring a form of Id to be admitted in to the ground! Last time I checked werent crossing the border in to North Korea.

Spennymor v Telford is off AGAIN.
Spennymoor have already messed Gainsborough about. The pitch at Brewery Field is awful.

Think you may have a chance tonight. Sat was such a massive result it would not surprise me for this to be their ‘after the Lord Mayor show’ performance........hard work done then slip up in easy game.

Don’t envy you on sat though

We've still not had our postponed game from last week rearranged.

Surely The National League should be stepping in at this point?

Abysmal attendance 688 at Harrogate tonight considering they had a great opportunity of going top of the league (which they have done on goal difference).
I'm inclined to think why does the chairman even bother with a crowd like that.

Harrogate 4-3 Alfreton

Well after a disastrous first half were we were completely overrun we certainly made a game of it second half and unbelievably I was disapointed we didnt get something from the game. We are not that far off it all clicking in to place but must eradicate giving stupid goals away. The first last night no less than 4 Alfreton defenders try and clear it, dont succeed and the ball bobbles to Knowles who scores. Second one, the debut ant goalkeeper Johansson could not hold Leesley`s freekick. 2-0. To be to him he did redeem himself with a few very good saves later in the game. By this point it was full blown panic stations and Harrroagte by scoring 2 more in as many minutes. The fourth was ridiculous. Harroagt running pretty much straight through after a slip by Luke Shiels straight from the restart.

Harrogate then seemed to take the foot off the pedal. Chris sharp grabbed when looked like a consolation on the break 5 minutes before HT. Unfortunately he had missed an even easier opportunity in the first five minutes.

Chris Moyses rang the changes early in the second half and boy did it make an Impact. Nyal Bell was a constant menace and Harroagate relaxing Brendon Daniels set piece delivery was superb and Bell scored tow brilliant headers. The home fans got restless and while we survived defensively Tom Allan missed another free header with 15 minutes to go

We then launched a quick counter on 85 minutes. Daniels picked out Baxendale at the back post with a brilliant cross but somehow Belshaw clawed away his hooked shot off the goal line. Miraculous save.

Overall a lot of positives to take second half. We need to take that in to York on Saturday. No reason why we cant win there at all.

Nuneaton are one of the better teams we've seen at EP this season. Defensively strong, organised with threatening players (especially George Green) No chance of them getting relegated. They've won the last 4 games conceding none!

Their winner came as a stroke of luck as a shot struck the bar then hit the diving GK and went in. We had a couple of moments but nowhere near enough.

Another season in Division 6 beckons for us.

Surely it’s a matter of time before the joint Salford managers are gone. What a monumental collapse

Will mean we'll play it on the deck.
We actually played better after Parkin was sent off on Saturday. That's if my memory from the bar is correct.

3 match ban for last weeks red card.

If you play like you did at your place it wouldn't surprise me at all!

The game was played at Harrogate. They have a 4g pitch.

Our pitch is one of the best in the Conference North. Our Groundsmen was National League groundsmen of the year in 2016.
When we played there in 2013 it was like a boating lake.

Massive game at Telford. A defeat for FcUM brings them back in to it. Hoping Kiddy,Blyth and Salford can do the business.

We really need to pull a result out of the bag if possible at York really.Fingers crossed.
