The collective blindfold across the eyes of the fans has finally been removed about McGill, finally.

Do a job for us DSL. I'd be very grateful.
We will try our upmost!

Studied the permutations and remaining fixtures last night. 2 wins in our final 4 ( Today and home v FC United) will see us on 49. If Tamworth fail to win today cant see them or Gainsbrough overhauling us on 49 with our superior GD!
A win today gives me genuine hope.

Yep, all correct, but that doesn't seem like a convincing defence (which I think is your point).

We look completely shafted.
No defence from me about McGill.
My fear is he may end up finishing the job Craig started and our local derby in the new stadium would be either Taddy Albion in Division 1 (East) or Pickering Town in the NCEL.

Played ok so far, don’t deserve to be losing, but crap goalkeeping let them grab a goal.

Not really anything else, bracket sitting on lead, we have lots of ball but no chances........same old for us.

Hope is keep it 1-0 and somehow, somewhere get that one chance

Excellent 3 points today on a bog at Telford, Newby bagged again as did Carver, think Newby is bringing the best out of Carver, we have now given ourselves a chance of sneaking into the top 7!

The players can fuck off. Their not fit to wear the shirt. Elliott Green played like a 55 year old OAP. The club is in crisis.
The players were swearing at each from the first minute. The atmosphere was toxic. Spenny could have won by 7 or 8. We are on our knees.

Its clear Chris cares judging off his post match interview where he was very honest. Shame the players are absolute gutless and clearly couldn't give a fuck. Some even smiling smiling and laughing in the second half. Can you believe it? Absolute bunch of wasters.

Embarrassed to be associated with todays performance

Not sure 55 qualifies as an OAP.

You came in here just to post that? I am well aware but you get the point I am trying to make.
Well no obviously I didn't come in here to post that because I didn't know you'd written such nonsense until I came in here.

Once I'd seen it, that's when I thought it was best to pull you up on it.

Well game wise it was a total waste of time today.......we lost and pretty comfortably. Same old story, played ok, game very even, neither side create much but they look more likely to score from their chances than we did................Cummins was injured so it meant the 4-5-1 with a striker unable to win headers or hold up ball.........we huffed and puffed but never really looked like scoring....saying that neither did Brackley but sadly a mistake by the goalkeeper and a cock-up in midfield gave them two goals which gave them the match........ah well.

The good news is cummins was on the bench so should be fine for midweek. On the whole today was a good day for us, our defeat was 100% expected by everyone and all the other sides down there lost, including big costly defeats for Leamington, Alfreton, Tamowrth and Telford......I think today was probably on the whole as good as Gainsborough and ourselves could ask for.

If i had a major frustration it was how our manager just simply would never 'have a go' at all today, 3 subs only made on 75 minutes when 2 goals down for quite a while and looking ineffective......all subs like for like and none to make us more offensive, never attempted to play more people forward at all.................I think our manager honestly decided at 2-0 game was 100% lost, the other results were going for us and really it was better to just keep the 2-0 defeat and put everything into Wednesdays game than try and turn the game today around......an ok approach if we win, but well if your going down do it with having a go.

Right, ok.

Sad to see Chester`s relegation to National North for 2018/19 was confirmed today. We need a minor miracle to be here to greet them

Well that went well

Id very much grateful if you could do the business against Tamworth next week. though

At home against Tamworth, I'd be shocked if we didn't win honestly.

What was most annoying about your game was my phone told me you'd equalised twice. At 1-0 and at 2-1. Was quite happy for a minute or 2.

Solid win for us although another late goal. It's becoming a big issue with us atm. But we managed to win today without 2 of our best players in Vaughan and Bradley which is a big positive as we were relying on them a fair bit recently.

Yes Flashscore had a bit of a mare today. In reality we barely deservedthe one goal we did score. Although the player who scored it, Nyal Bell was a deserving scorer.

All that is bad about this league was on show today. Neither side deserved anything, and the fact that it was decided by a scabby deflected goal typifies the game entirely.

I just hope 47 points is enough for survival, I'd quite happily have the season end now if so. Our tough run-in is going to be even worse if the lads don't change back out of their flip-flops soon.

Time and time again we think we are going forward but we end up taking two steps forward and one step back with a disgraceful performance that really lacked anything other than pure dog-shit. We gave away another 2 unnecessary soft goals. Overall a poor display from the lads.

You'd have thought after a two week break the players would be raring to get at Boston United? Who for me weren't all that much better than us and did nothing but dive all over the pitch, the referee lost control of the game and was absolutely shocking today, then again they all are in this league for some strange reason. At the end of the day it's the result that matters and Boston got what they deserved a 2-1 win.

The game did look in doubt round about 2ish with a torrential downpour, referee came out and assessed the situation as a guy was sweeping surface water of the pitch.

Nothing much really that's positive to take out of the game, other than once again Heaton got man of the match, + Portas and Wheatley had decent games and Styche's goal was pretty good.

Onwards to Manchester next Saturday I've got my ticket today.

Flashscores is a bit hit and miss now and again. I was bored at the match so i thought I'll check a few scores they had our game down as 2-2 :err: I wish!

On that note, Hi folks.

Was going to say ‘Hi again’ actually but this league looks a bit different from last time.

It was a somewhat pretty low crowd like, but then again the weather doesn't help, were you present?

Does anyone know of any other twin brothers to have scored against each other in the same game?
Alex and Elliot Newby did it today.

Likewise, definitely one of the trips I’m looking forward to next season. We can reminisce together! :bg1:

You won't be looking forward to going to Blackwell Meadows, not unless you fancy a laugh. It's not like the old Feethams ground. Indeed we certainly can reminisce together! :bg:

York City boss Martin Gray has pleaded with fans to continue supporting the team after boos rang out at Bootham Crescent at the end of this afternoon's 2-0 home defeat to neighbours Harrogate Town.

Could i possibly join in and start chanting Gray out, Gray out - On a serious note i think he's out of his depth with you guys.
Beck's goal wouldn't have helped matters either, he should have took a gamble and signed him when he had the chance? Obviously Harrogate weren't all that too concerned in signing a player that failed a medical.
Tell the truth i miss him, we are clueless without Mark Beck up front as a target man. Harrogate have got themselves a good striker.

How's Sean Gregan doing at York? is he still stood with his hands in his pockets doing sod all, or scratching his balls it's usually one or the other?

Good luck with the play-offs

The booing was due to a piss poor performance.
Here's hoping he joins his mate at Hartlepool next season and we get taken over and we have a clear out from top to bottom in the club as it's rotten to the core.

Chorley could you stop catching up with the playoff teams. I don't want you finishing 7th and us having to play you again in the playoffs.
