Ben Greenhalgh signed for Hemel from Maidstone

Not sure how I missed this as he was announced on Hemel's retained list back in May.

Clem Fandango - I see some of your supporters have been introduced to the 'Whitehawk Ultras' on Twitter. Wait until they set up a Twitter account about a fraction of your support base, it's a sight to behold. Not even Bognor, Eastbourne or Ebbsfleet experience such privileges.

What did I miss?

And Ben Greenhalgh. How is he still getting clubs?

Ha yeah we've had some of their various accounts tweet away, they appear to all be run by Owen Jones :bg:

Pleased to have signed Bagasan Graham from Chelmsford. Rated him highly the past two seasons.

I'd lump a few quid on Hemel at that price.

Only found this because of DarkSithLord's post in the North. Truro doing over 10,000 miles in the course of a season is insane and having gone down there twice now, things get really tedious once off the M5.

Not sure that's right for us, Truro is 196 miles from Gloucester not 217. And Bath is shorter in miles than Oxford. 2475 was the total miles I had us doing. That's from a Glos perspective mind you so travelling from the City and not from/to Evesham!

One of Whitehawk's owners has gone down for racially abusing a pregnant woman in a pub. What a charmer.

Read today that Whitehawk have had to cut their budget by 40%. Hopefully we'll finally see the back of them?

Concord at home to start the season. Hemel are our Bank Holiday opponents, Hampton are Boxing Day/New Years opponents and the jokers at National League HQ have given us Whitehawk away to end the season which would be hilarious if we could send them down.

Gloucester being the first Saturday away day is a pleasant surprise. If I wind up going by myself, that's got train, beer (via Worcester), football written all over it.

Weston away on a Tuesday night is not a pleasant surprise however.

Make that three! Havant have always splashed the cash around but this would be news to me.

As for us being considered one of the favourites - consider me unbelievably skeptical. GB said this side needed tinkering whilst I think we need a massive overhaul. I'm sure there's a few players he's casting his eye over (no reason we can't get Jerome Okimo back who would be a massive upgrade at left back) but as the Stones supporter on Nomads said, opinion is split on him as to whether or not he's the man to get us promoted.

And guess who started for us today? Actually, he was part of a back three with Josh Hill and Ciaron Brown in a 1-0 win over Fulham's under 23's.

Chelmsford have signed Shaun Batt. Big pressure on Jeffers there, Batt has the worst end product I've seen on a forward player. Can't believe he sustained an FL career for so long.

Sami El-Abd is the new player manager at Bognor Regis.

Sami El-Abd has stepped down as Bognor Regis Town boss after one friendly - unable to combine the role with his full-time coaching duties at Brighton and Hove Albion - but he will remain as Rocks' captain. Fellow player Gary Charman, coach Darrin Killpartrick and - would you credit it? - "Mr. Bognor" Jack Pearce will be in joint charge for the time being.

Charlie Sheringham signed for Hemel the other day. Seemed to have got a bit of form going during his loan spell there, so potentially a good move for him.

That stand is looking very Whitehawk-esque ;)

It's uncanny. I believe a cantilever roof is meant to be going on it but the proof will be in the pudding when we kick off in 3 weeks time.

Chris Dickson looked useful for Chelmsford last night. Very tricky player, Darren Purse didn't enjoy playing against him! Captured his goal at the 3:35 mark here if anyone's interested - excuse the plug!

Chris Dickson is a name that makes the average Sutton fan nervously laugh. Hailed as a big summer signing last year (and the clubs top earner at the time), he was exposed at Conference proper level

Awful news about the death of a St. Albans City fan and volunteer who fell from the roof at Clarence Park on Tuesday morning. Understandably whilst health and safety assessments are being undertaken, the Saints have had to call off their two remaining pre-season home matches.

We've signed Edji Mbunga from Birmingham, local lad who used to be in our youth set-up. Scored 2- in 4 pre-season games and has a few assists. Can't see him starting yet but has a lot of pace and looks a useful addition. We also announced Robbie Cundy's return yesterday from Oxford Utd. Now that is a signing and a half. He was awesome with us previously on loan. Spent latter half of last season in the National with Southport and we apparently beat Kidderminster to his signature which is a surprise.

Latest transfer's updated here btw (Apologies in advance for any potential errors or anything missing)

Robbie Cundy looked really good on trial and I'm very surprised he wasn't offered a deal here.

Interesting last minute signing bringing in Andrew Osei-Bonsu from Franchise. Couple of supporters on their forum thought he'd left the club to play higher and had seemingly impressed on trial for Derby's youth teams but now finds himself with us.

Probably a short term deal then.
