Yep it's that time again when everybody's eager to check out whether the club they follow will embarrass them all with some hideous new kit design. And we're off to a flyer here people with these couple of erm 'efforts' from Boro.

Like them both. The home one reminds me of Southampton’s old kit in the late 80s

The sleeves have too much funny business going on for my liking, but I quite like the rest of it, and I still associate Stevenage with diagonal stripes.

Shame the photographer accidentally sent one of the rejects through though.

This is ours, complete with blue shorts for the first time in about 20 years.

Don't wish to be negative, but I hate it.

Away kit to be revealed in June/July and will be either light blue, dark blue, purple or yellow depending on the Supporters Club vote.

I don't know - suspect a few with Puma may end up with some daft designs this season, as they appear to be in one of 'those' moods to do something different.

What I will say is it looks better in person (it's been on sale since well before the play-offs) but it really is a marmite kite - some love it, some hate it. I do personally really like the blue shorts as a one-off, but as you say the pattern is just garish.

Made all the better for the dodgy non-league tattoos.

Not a fan of the Stevenage kits at all, though it looks like the one on the right is being modeled by one of the actors in East Enders (Haven't watched it for years, but think he might be called Ricky and have a dog called Wellard)...the Tranmere kit would look pretty smart with the top being plain white with blue trim...it looks like whoever designed it had their drawing hijacked on the way to the factory by a three year old with a crayon, whose scribbles weren't spotted before they started making it.

Stevenage ones are nice. Wouldn’t mind that design in white and royal blue.

Does it say 'Wasters' on the swan B&M Bargain logo? My eyes are bad but it certainly would fit most of Tranmere's players and supporters.

Really like the Stevenage ones. That Tranmere one looks like it should have been blue but the printer is running out of ink.

Great to see Stevenage using Wycombe colours for their second kit.

My first thought was it looked like an Arsenal away kit.

Second thought it, it looks more like black than dark blue.

Hold on, that's not dark blue that's black? I know I'm losing my hearing (too much time listening to loud music) but I thought my eyesight was good enough but now I'm not so sure :pond:Anyway, whatever the colour's supposed to be, both Boro shirt designs are gruesome IMO.

Tranmere's home shirt is another crappy design - that's only down to that stupid blue pattern on the lower part of the shirt - but it's still better than Boro's.

Not sure if it's possible but I was thinking of adding a poll after all the L2 home kits are revealed to see which ones are the favs on here. About time we had a poll on here I reckon! ;)

It's like the dress all over again. Maybe Stevenage are trying to go viral.

For some reason I now have a strong urge to buy a Grimsby shirt.

Gavin Gunning's a sexy Irish beast.

Shirt pattern: Puddlesque, like the murky waters of trepidation that await the new boys
Player facial expressions: Definitely chatting up your missus the second you go to the bar
Socks: Unevenly pulled up denoting an unbalanced squad
Sponsor: Looks like the Swansea badge
Boots: Salmon pink might have worked when they were the big boys down in the Conference but the sheer audacity of wearing them back around FL stalwarts likes FGR and Morecambe will see them struggle

Overall: 2/10

"Chats a load of shit on the internet" Rearrange Kettle black pot SoC.

Gav is a top player and a top lad to boot. And by the looks of it has a potential modelling career lined up when he jacks in the football. You're just jealous.

Good job, because he's a shite player. Hopefully he carries on slating us in the media. Did Jolley's job for him on the last day of the season.

Our kit for next season has already been documented on a previous thread and is awful.

We are apparently leaving Errea which is a shame as they’ve given us some real decent kits and have been good quality.

Few rumours we are going with Avec or even a local company but we will see. Home kit is meant to be out for Fathers Day but they say that every year and it rolls out late July.

As long as we revert to our traditional colours and not the unlucky all white kit it will be a start! Two relegations and the joint worst season in our history on the last three occasions we’ve changed to all white!
