First rule of any colour scheme is don’t combine two light colours.... never mind white and some light gold. Awful stripes too. The away one is even worse... red and gold stripes?! The third kit is a beauty though in fairness.

I still await our effort... last seasons were atrocious as were the ones the season before.

Don't even look at our new home shirt, horrible. Hard hard is it to mess up red and white stripes :ffs:

It's amazing how many times down the years we've messed up a standard red and white striped shirt.

The sponsor logo is terrible, too. Because of that star thing in the top right, it kicks it off and makes it look off centre.

Christ. It's almost as bad as MK's. Appalling.

That Lincoln one has a 90s retro vibe to it - I actually like it.

It's bad but nowhere near as bad as ours.
The sad thing is with the MK one, I can kinda see what they are going for? It’s just been executed awfully. The shade of gold is too weak, remove the stripes on the side, change the colour of the Suzuki logo and it starts to look a lot better.

The Lincoln and MK shirts make me worried about ours, I'm hoping that as we're going for a tribute shirt to the 98/99 season that it will be like the Grimsby home one (with red instead of black stripes obviously) but you can't rule anything out when it comes to Errea, look at our current monstrosity.

The Lincoln kit is possibly the worst shirt I've ever seen. Genuinely horrific. Port Vales purple kit is suddenly looking not so bad

Our kits went on sale last weekend and have been the best selling since the Autoglass/Play Off Final release kit in 1993 and sold out of most sizes in the home one.

Interestingly the purple kit was picked because Aspin didn't like dark coloured kits hence we ditched the black away kit last season for the third kit which was meant to only be for the Notts County and Grimsby away trips!

Lincoln's is terrible. Errea definitely started off well with ours and then just got bored for MK Dons and Lincoln.

Is Lincoln's gk shirt still gonna be light pink? Always thought that looked like it was meant to be white but got stuck in a wash with the red socks.

Hopefully, if only to try and take the attention away from the home kit.

The GK's usually chose the colour they want. Farman went for pink and orange, then pink and lime green last season.

EDIT - Seems to be a problem uploading images on the forum at the minute.

Did the Errea kit designer create our kit first then go through some mid life crisis/mental episode/wife left him/dogs passed incident before creating Franchise and Gimps strips?

I wish that was the case, but in the last 3 years we've had original designs which then later on began to be used by other clubs (like our 15/16 design being used by Lincoln) so I can only imagine that ours was created first which makes me even more horrified

At least yours doesn’t look like an 80’s Kwik Save bag!

Ours is awful. I would love to have been there at the kit launch to hear the groans when that was put on show.

But I suppose enough people will buy it and that's the be all and end all of new kits isn't it, sales.

You might win something, and then a big poster of your players celebrating in that kit will grace your stadium for all of time. Might even become the subject of a retro-revival in thirty or so years.
