see Darlo have signed left back Michael Liddle from Blyth, seem to remember you been upset when Gray went back and signed some of your players wonder how you feel about this.
Personally I don’t see anything wrong this was just hoping you signed the right back who I thought was worst player seen all season.

I wasn't particularly upset, but some Darlo fans were. But that was as much to do with the realisation that we just couldn't afford those players and had to cut our cloth.

Blyth fans so far on twitter have so far reacted similarly - not too much blame been aimed at AA yet, or at Darlo yet - it's been more at their "unambitious board" who have cut the budget and not offered any players contracts yet.

Difference here being that it's close season, these Blyth players have no contracts, and therefore don't "belong" to Blyth. Blyth have literally let them go. Are we and other clubs going to be interested in out of contract players who finished in the play offs last year? Yep.

I bet you finish up with at least a couple more, you will be changing places with Blyth next season.
Think Hereford and Chester will be real threats to all.

Yeah but don't forget how tinpot as fuck that this level is. He did alright at Blyth and won player of the month in March.

That may be the case and across half a season he might look alright but he is an absolute horror show of a defender, hearts in your mouth every time he has the ball at his feet.

I think Telford have built a strong squad already as well. Wouldn't rule them out for the title.

Tbf you'd probably say the same about Scott Harrison but Spennymoor have just handed him a contract.

Horses for courses and all that. Not signed yet so bit of a moot point at the moment. Liddle sounds a decent signing. If we could have Jarrett Rivers and Dan Maguire off blyth too that would be a good start to the summer.

Laing might do alright for you lot (if he signs) I’d be saying the same if he’s signed for anyone else too, we’ve had some stinking defenders over the years but these two take the crown.

Didn't Maguire sign for Halifax a few years back then cancelled it when he was told that Halifax wasn't a 20 minute drive away.

Yet Harrison as a young player for us looked a decent prospect so has something about him.

We will sign at least 3 more Blyth players - Louis Laing is certain and Jarrett Rivers is a good shout because he also works full time at Alun Armstrong's football academy.

Fourth new signing for Alfreton is young 19 year old keeper Jack Atkinson. Came through the youth set up at Halifax and was most recently at Bradford Park Avenue.

Not unveiled officially yet but the Northern Echo states that we are signing Jarrett Rivers, Loius Laing and also David Atkinson from Blyth.

Nathan Buddle has moved from Blyth to Spennymoor.

It's only a matter of time before Dan Maguire and Peter Jameson leave Blyth too - Spendymoor in for them offering wads of £££££.

Blyth have simply been ripped apart, actually feel for them.

Looks a decent set-up, although the stand behind the goal looks smaller than I thought it would do. That'll end up being a bit of a nothing stand if you get promoted.

What's the capacity?
Looks basic and cheap to me. Colour of the seats make it look like a lower-league Portuguese ground or something.

I believe the capacity is 8,000.

Yeah, the seats make it look a little European (seems a bizarre decision) but the two stands either side don't look too bad and a decent size.

Basic and cheap, but I suppose that's about what you'd expect at regional level, although I thought they might go for something other than an Identikit one.

I can confirm it’s pretty basic and cheap, not quite to the standard of basic like the Globe arena mind.

That's correct. He was meant to be our star striker that season and he left us in a terrible position. We would have probably stayed up that season if we had him

Former Chesterfield academy manager John Pemberton has been announced as the new Kidderminster Harriers manager. Strikes me as a bit underwhelming

Indeed. Speaking to 3 top managers allegedly. One of them is Pembleton, with no real long-term stints as a manager at senior level.

Gordons act is proving to be tiresome.

Darlington sign winger Jarrett Rivers from Blyth. Well happy with this, a quality winger who is well known at this level.

Darlington sign defender/midfielder David Atkinson from Blyth. Rated by Armstrong as one of the best players he's ever worked with...oh, go on then.

Where’s the money suddenly come from for Hereford?

Made some very very good signings.

We haven't. Signed no-one. Lost Adam Walker, an ever present for 3 years. Without an upgrade especially at CF and CB I would comfortably predict another top 5 position, but being 'a little bit short' of the top as we have been for the last 2 years. Frustrating, as we feel 90% there to have a real run at the title...

Pemberton was highly sought after when he was at Forest working with the reserve and academy sides but just doesn't seem to have had enough time in first team managerial roles - they seem to have been caretaker ones more than anything.
