Are there any Brackley fans on here? If so why is our game next Saturday marked as P-P on BBC teletext?

To be fair, I'm not concerned about your budget - you get gates of 3,000 and yes, the chairman tops that up as well. I'd expect York to have the best budget in the league simply because they are the biggest club.

What concerns me is pipsqueak clubs playing in front of a few hundred who can out pay Darlo.
Or pipsqueak clubs who build themselves 25,000 seater stadiums and then can't fill 10% of them...

Thanks for noticing either of us...
No idea, game seems on to me. Unless maybe our 'walking football' team have pre-booked the pitch.

In his brief spell with us we ended up with over forty players, a few were loans but many were given very decent two year contracts. Only two or three were any good! Don't forget all his cronies that appear with him too as coaches, physios etc.
God help your club financially and the hoofball is awful to watch :(

We are not bank-rolled and our budget is probably one of the smallest one's in the league, as you can tell by the calibre of players we have !!!
Will be interesting to see how he gets on then, if hoofball keeps us up then i assume the majority of the fans will be happy.

Apparently that was the "old club" which "no longer exists". Nowt to do with us, guv.

PS even though you took umbrage at my post, Brackley wasn't even in my thoughts - as you quite rightly pointed out the other day, no one knows your budget, and you might not be able to out pay us, for all either of us know.

But there are other clubs who can out pay us - for example Alfreton who signed Styche from us last season as we couldn't afford him and they could. I never did get over that.

It'll be tough.

I remember watching us easily beat you 3-0 in early season (could have been 10-0 as well), and you were simply atrocious all over the park. I said there and then - they're certain to go down.

But, a lot can change over the course of a season.

We were missing Asante today and he makes the world of difference to us in attack with his holdup play and goal scoring threat, you are very solid and that should be enough to win you the league but I would expect that with the money you have spent on your squad.

Darlo away today, can't make the journey because of work. Don't really know what to expect still honestly. Darlo seem in good form but so were Farsley last week. I'd take a draw now.

I'd take a 5-0 annihilation of Kidderminster, no make it 10.

Difficult to call this one. Both teams will prove to be better than their current league position suggests.

We're in good form and at home, the injuries are clearing so we have options, we need to be looking to beat Kidderminster based on that - though to "expect" a win will backfire.

I fear Hemmings. I fear Chambers. This will be a tough match.

I think we will just scrape home 2-1, though a draw or away win is not out of the question.

By heck it was a cold night and a hard-fought victory in the end. Harriers moved the ball around and played well, especially when the colossal Diau was introduced.

Outstanding save towards the end from our keeper Connell to deny a share of the spoils.

Sounds like one of our players got a head injury in the lead up to the goal. Will be interesting to see if the game should've been stopped in the highlights.

Sounded like it probably should have been stopped.

I'll take the bit of luck mind, as I'm sure your fans did with the penalty decision for the 1st against against Farsley last week. Your boss didn't seem to quite understand it swings in roundabouts. Comes across as very sour in his interview, obviously doesnt enjoy trips to the north east.

But midweek win against a full time side is always a good feeling. Onto Hereford on saturday. Keeping clean sheets, won 6 in a row and into the FA cup first round for the first time since 2011. Feel good factor is certainly back at Darlo atm.

My guess is he's angry at the refs failure to protect his player, head injuries can be nasty and it looks like he's got a broken nose. Not Darlo's fault all down to the ref really.

That ref, I've seen him before a couple of times, he's fucking useless. Normally useless against Darlo, so it makes a change to have something go our way with him.

Onto the match, a very hard fought win for us - 2 evenly matched, football playing sides. We were on top in the first half and it's fair to say Kidderminster were on top in the 2nd half and probably will feel as though they deserved a point. We defended very well though, restricting their chances despite all of their 2nd half possession. Some very big lads in the Kidderminster line up, they looked solid defensively.

Sometimes you've got to grind a result out, and the benefit of having Armstrong as manager rather than the utterly feckless Tommy Wright, is there for all to see. Our side has energy, work ethic, and a backbone now - none of that was present under Wright. I lost count of times we went 2-0 up last season and crumbled to a 2-2 draw or 3-2 or 4-2 defeat. We were a bunch of pea hearted fancy dans.

Despite a terrible start to this season partially due to a mega injury list, we've now got momentum. I can see us knocking on the door of the play offs before long.

On the balance, I think most Harriers fans that went have admitted that you deserved the win. Still, think we are maybe 3 or 4 players away from having a full squad but it's good to see we're playing better now. York on Saturday can't expect anything from that.

Not on it today, not sure how kiddie are where they are always seem to play well at Bootham Crescent.
They are a very good footballing side and good to watch just toothless up top.
Least only Southport won at the top, this would of been a defeat in past seasons.
Kiddie were better team but never tested our keeper or got behind our defence.

Alfreton 0-2 Spennymoor

An absolute mare for us on the pitch and off the pitch for me (
Harrier94 ;)

We are a side bereft of confidence and belief and very much on the slide.

5 defeats in 7 and we didnt look like scoring today. Spennymoor can consider themselves unfortunate to not have won by more.

No midfield. Since the signing of the new keeper from Hull Charlie Andrew (who looks out of his depth) our defence and its confidence look shot.

Amari was our best player but was isolated up front. Not looking good.

The fact we are still 9th says a lot about this league.

2-2 v Curzon in awful conditions. Our young keeper had an absolute mare first half again and gifted them the lead. Second half we were all over them, got an equaliser and almost nicked it at the end through Fabien Robert but wasn't quite enough. 5 out injured and 3 suspended so will take a point but still.

Thank goodness Aarron Martin is now back after his suspension. He scored a worldy overhead kick to open the scoring first half only for the liner to chalk it off for a high foot. Never mind, three minutes later he used his head instead and that one stood.
That's our first win away to Gateshead since 2006 so very pleasing.

We're still 2nd and we haven't won a game for nearly 2 months.

Very Frustrating afternoon for us dictated most of the game, just wasn't to be against a resilient Hereford side that dug deep for a point. Still it was a good game with some fine performances from the lads.

Onwards to Walsall in great form unbeaten in seven!!
