Looks like we are moving next month or early March so Potentially only three games left at Bootham Crescent,
200 people are using the restaurant/boxes for a meal next Wednesday night and testing fire exits,Sunday 19th York junior football league are holding a football tournament and following Wednesday is last event,if all 3 pass they are moving first available game.
Will be a very sad day on last game probably against Chester on 1st Feb is they get safety certificate.

Burrow seems to be netting a few for you lot. Must have a decent overall record at your place?

19 last season and 10 this season, should score more but can’t fault his work rate.Problem is the main striker Dan McGuire has been injured all season but looks like back this weekend.on the few games they have played together hey look a good partnership.

Huge win for Blyth over Curzon.

Just one point for Hereford in the two meetings with Bradford. Deserve to be relegated just for that tbh.

Kiddy deep in a relegation dog fight now.

Paul Cox has revitalized Kettering

We won today due to 2 late goals and should of been a easy win wiith all the chances ,but got to say Telford took time wasting to a new dimension, never even tried to play or win game.
How people pay to watch them play is beyond me,still annoyed about the game and won.
Referee was Atrocious.
Swear ball was in play for 20 mins each half,no place in football for that.

Alty up to 6th now, missed a pen and had 2 more early injuries again so a point not a disaster. First time this season we have been in a playoff position, hopefully we can stay there. Two tough away games next.

If ever there was a team who desperately needs a 3G pitch its Spennymoor.

Spennymoor up to their old tricks again. Very late postpoment tonight
I didnt go but both sides were perfectly happy to play, it was the referee Adam Herczeg who called it off at 6.30pm. One of our groundsman went and he said it was fine, if the same small area of surface water was at Alty the game would have been played.

Not Spennymoor's fault, indeed their CEO has offered to pay for our supporters coach for when its re-arranged for all those who attended and this offer was accepted. Ref was quoting "health & safety" as the reason. Our players kicked a ball around in the area and it was fine.
At least the ref only had a few miles to get home unlike our fans and players who took 4 hours. Its one of those,... :lac:

I saw a tweet that said the players' coach couldn't come straight home because the driver was over his hours limit!

Very unprofessional from Spendy they should never allowed fan's and player's to travel up North. It was absolutely pissing it down on Tuesday from dinnertime onwards. Absolutely thick as fuck! They still think they are in the Northern League.

Brackley signed Simeon Maye from Hereford apparently. Any good? Not sure we needed another MF...

Matt McClure signs from Maidstone. Seems since the stadium work started the club has had a ton of media interest and new sponsors galore. If he can find his feet in the North like he did in the South then we have a frigging good strikeforce with him and Marlon Jackson.

The Guiseley management team of Marcus Bignot, Russ O'Neil and Paul Clayton have all signed new contracts until the end of the 2021/22 season.
Great news for all connected with the club.

Just saw King's Lynn beat York. Another bankrolled outfit?

It's very close from 5th to 12th place, just four points between them! Looks like it's going to be an entertaining few months ahead.

It's close, but count us out. We had 2 fit players on the bench today, one of whom isn't good enough for this level, and the other (Connor Woods) a raw talent. We've come unstuck against half-decent opposition in the last 6 games, this following a decent run before Christmas in which a lot of our results came against struggling sides. The only comfort I can take is we've probably already got enough points to stay up. We've got some potentially winnable games coming up, but I expect us to fade away into mid-table obscurity.

As for today's raising of the white flag again, I can't even get angry about it. We've got a young goalkeeper who has gloves but no hands in them, and other young players who are either playing out of position, are lacking in confidence, or just aren't good enough, and none of it is their fault. The one positive is George Newell coming back from a loan spell at Marine, and showing he's the most proactive striker we've got.

Here comes Darlo casually getting ever so closer to the top five and easing into the play-offs with another good result. I'd have to say another victory for football against the long ball brigade teams.

Although, Alfreton did have their moments but unfortunately not today. I do honestly think it's time for Billy Heath to do a disappearing act for their fan's and simply fuck-off!!

Very entertaining game yesterday. Draw was probably a fair result on the balance. Spennymoor scored one of the best counter attacking goals I've seen. We had a corner and within probably about 10-15 seconds the ball was in our net.

Our goal was just a delightful to the eye as well, Hemmings does a lovely chip into the box, Chambers noticing the onrushing keeper does a lovely backwards header which loops over the keeper and in.

On Spennymoor they don't look like the same side of last season, Curtis is still dominate in the air but with the ball at his feet was awful, at 37 I think his legs have gone. Also Glenn Taylor didn't look like the same threat as last season.

We signed a young striker on loan from Wolves this week called Austin Samuels, took him a while to get into the game but once he did he looked like a threat, very quick striker who will cause problems.

We also have Austin Samuels and Samuel Austin in our team now, commentators nightmare.

Where did the loids come from all of a sudden, rip roaring their way into the playoffs, Louis Laing must be injured.

He was out injured for a month or so then couldn't get back into the side, but then injuries to other players meant he got back in. Credit where credit is due, he hasn't put a foot wrong since.

Early season he was a clanger per match.

That was a very satisfying result. I knew before kick off that we'd roast this lot, and that's no disrespect to Alfreton, it's just that at home we play possession football and simply run rings around hoof it teams.

They never had a chance.

A bit worried to see injuries mounting up again, especially to defenders. Liddle out for 4-6 weeks and Galbraith's injury sounds like it could be a bad one.

All very predictable yesterday. We still wouldnt have scored at Darlo if we would have still been playing now. No Amari means no threat especially with Ben Tomlinson up front who is past it.

Three huge home games coming up now against Gateshead,Gloucester and Hereford which will determine if we will stay up with breathing space or it will be closer that we would like.

Is Dale Whitham still playing with Alfreton, DSL? Just wondering, know he had a loan spell at Buxton.
