We will see on saturday,... we have nothing to lose and expect a high scoring game, this time last year we beat leaders Chorley 5-3 and I would be surprised if that happened again as we are creating loads of chances at present with our Deva boys:woo:
Deva old boys if you don’t mind

We were very abject and didnt test him anywhere near enough. But he was competent with what was thrown at him

Thats two 1-0 nil wins now over Leamington this season and both games where dire. But its 6 points on the board

Too true Ken. Johnston is starting to show us how good he is. Mahon has been deadweight for past 3 seasons. I'd have Durrell back though.

It's just a pity that we gave York too much respect in the 2 games (they are nothing special) or alternatively we are shit scared of the fat centre half. Otherwise I think we'd be in the mix for automatic promotion.

That fat centre half, was that McNulty?

One of my best mates is his cousin. Just thought I’d drop that bombshell on you all.
Lee Gregory rang rings around him at The Shay, the home crowd were cheering and laughing in equal measure. One could almost have felt sorry for him but, nah. :bdick:

It appears the Bury AFC,has been accepted into the NWCL North Div,tier10 along with the IOM unless the original Bfc is sold or liquidated

First year pro Fabio Tavares has joined Curzon Ashton on a month's loan. Has had a few League 1 cameos from the bench this season and looks a good prospect, so we could do without him being "clogged" by Curzon's opponents, thanks. :)

2 signings for us ahead of tomorrow, Alex Penny from Boston and Lewis Miccio. Penny looks like a decent signing on paper, don't know anything about Miccio except that LB is an area we badly needed covering.

Still can't get my head round why you let the best LB in this league go?

Honestly at the time I was glad to see him go. He didn't look remotely interested while playing for us, he didn't track back and most of our goals conceded were from that side.

In hindsight its probably miss management of him but it wasn't working here.

1 mistake cost us in one of the worst games I've watched. York didn't create anything and no did we. 0-0 would've been fair but there we go.

A few months ago we'd have lost that about 3-0 so there are improvements but we just lack any creativity up top.

First half was ok,2nd half horrendous mainly York’s fault.gifted a goal on 46 mins and just sat back.We never pressed just happy for you to have it,
To be honest thought you looked ok but had nothing up top to struggle us.Not happy with tactics but all about points.

Season over for us after our 5-0 drubbing at Spennymoor on Saturday.
Its been a very mundane season and i can see it ending with a bit of a whimper in the final 12 games. Time to look ahead to next season and who will and wont be at the club.

Six meetings with Spennymoor now at this level

L 4-1
L 2-1
L 7-1
D 1-1
L 2-0
L 5-0

Hate playing them.

We haven't played in 3 weeks should Saturday V you guys be on, not sure on Evesham but its tipped it down in Gloucester basically all week and looks the same for this week. We have had 3 players out and 3 playing with knocks who may be back to full fitness in time should it be on at least. City need to put in a performance after that dreadful drubbing there!

Big result tonight for Gateshead which halts Boston`s momentum. Going to be an interesting finish at the top! Alfreton might have quite the say as we have play 6 of the top 8.

Looking at the forecast doubt it will be on with Storm Jorge

Slightly disappointed today i thought we should have won with our chances in the second half.
And possibly a good penalty shout turned down?
Unfortunately we let Brackley in through the back door with some sloppy defending.
Still it's a decent result against one of the teams that surely will be in the play-offs come the end of the season.

It's beginning to look as though it's any 7 from the top 8 to make the cut. Who will miss out? Not altogether certain it won't be us.

Absolute dog shite crowd for us on Saturday. Joke club, fans should be ashamed of themselves.

Although not helped by a gale force wind and a grand total of 0 away fans.
