God knows what’s gone on. Could be anything. It’s bad timing given recent results.
Maybe it explains the last 2 results. Terrible timing though yeah. As fans, your lot (barring carsonsuckscock and we are sailing) deserve better.

If I was Chesterfield board I'd be on the phone to Peter 'Petey' Wild. Get some old fashioned manners in.

Thanks. It does feel like a proper punch in the gut given our last 5/6 years. Rowe has given us hope of getting back to the football league and his record is ridiculously good in terms of results. That being said - the squad is the squad and I still think we have a good chance of promotion. It’ll be an important appointment if he does go.

It’s alright they have special insurance for this.
Fucking hell we’re getting bantered for having insurance now

I was meant to be at gym an hour ago but instead I’ve been pacing and refreshing bobs and TFF. Life’s been thrown into disarray.

It could well be a good thing for you, let’s be honest Rowe was always someone who was here for a good time not a long time. Get the next appointment right (assuming he goes), and Rowe has done the important job of totally overhauling your squad and bringing loads of money in with the cup run.

If he has been sacked he must have done something seriously wrong because our board worshipped the absolute ground he walked on

I do feel for you lot. It feels all too familiar- clubs like ours can't have nice things.

But yeah, the positives are you've got a good squad and woth the right replacement no reason why you can't get promoted still.

I’m hearing it an accumulation of events. Suspension is probably the last action in the long disciplinary process.

With the players Chesterfield have most managers would have them competing for the title.

I'm not convinced Rowe is as good as he looks, with us he had Waddock leading the way, and at both Gloucester and Chesterfield has had huge budgets to spend (he signed half our NL playoff team for NLN at Gloucester)

Have you seen our board, they've hung, drawn and quartered him. Surprised they haven't started a thread on who the next manager will be . There's already replies of Paul Cooks available and we should be hitting Halifax or BW

You see I’m fairly confident that the club wouldn’t have took this step for an accumulation with how well things are going on the pitch, signing Joe Quigley who was one of his targets etc just days ago…

If that was the case surely we’d have heard something before this? And also, would the board have sanctioned the signing of a player from a manager they knew were on the brink?

I reckon he’s done something that well and truly over steps the mark this time round

Yeah, it would be bizarre to sanction a signing for a fee on a long contract if you know your manager is under investigation or something. He must’ve done something, and no way that video at Maidenhead is enough to be it.

Not enough compensation you could provide.
When he does leave he'll be managing at a higher level than this.

Fair points but there have been rumours of bullying and poor treatment of certain players for a while. It’ll all come out in the wash. It’s a great shame as I genuinely got behind him and believed in his philosophy both for the team and the clubs ambition. Let’s see what happens but rumours he’s already gone.

I’m not liking the silence from the club since those rumours of him being sacked broke. Even a short statement to say it’s bollocks would put that to bed, fact they’ve stayed silent on it tells me to expect the worst and that he has gone.

Ffs if you’d have told me we’d have been looking for a new manager by tea time when I woke up this morning I’d have thought you were mad!!!

Is this the right time to mention we’ve got a new poster on our board who says we’re signing Tshimanga.

Of course it’s utter nonsense but just imagine the meltdown haha.

You can laugh ,if he does go the trust will most likely come knocking at your door :)
I'm surprised noone has come knocking before now to be honest.

Whilst Chesterfield are a much bigger club in terms of league it's a sideways move.

His next move will be to a league club
