Brizzle Rovers at home tomorrow. My first game in a few weeks now I'm back in the country. We've a decent recent record against these and I think we'll win if Clarke-Harris is still out injured.

Big game tomorrow against a surprisingly underachieving Pompey. I don't think league position will dictate our game plan. It'll be a tough game irrespective and I tend to think (based on conjecture) that it'll be a hard fought contest.

Our game against Sunderland in midweek despite a number of changes and injuries to key players'... We were naff. Our worst display in a long time, though credit to Sunderland who exploited the changes and were decent. They should have won. We got lucky.

That being said we are on a good run of results, that being said most OUFC supporters would likely take a draw if offered...

Yup, well put tbh.

We're missing a few key players - would take a point i think.

We are a right state at the moment. Not a single shot on target. Fleetwood had something like 75% possession and we set up from minute one parking the bus.

Honestly Tisdale has to go. He is tactically inept, L1 is a step too far for him and shows why he's spent the majority of his career in L2 or lower as a manager.

1 goal in 8 games, 1 point out of a possible 24 is our worst return in our short history. Think the only thing stopping the chairman sacking him is it would cost a bucket load to get rid of Tisdale and his staff, and bring in a new manager.

Lose to Tranmere next weekend and surely his time is up.

Ah well , it was there for all to see on our forums and facebook groups

When I saw the posts from Exeter fans on your forum and elsewhere I just wrote it off as typical bitterness whenever a manager leaves for another club without being sacked, but everything Exeter fans said has proven to be 100% accurate.

Let's see where we are this time tomorrow. A loss tomorrow at home to an injury-plagued Tranmere and he surely has to be packing his bags.

I think most Rovers fans would happily take a point from this game. Our injury crisis, Payne banned and a poor record at MK make this a difficult game for Rovers despite the hosts' current problems.

Burton today, a team we have never beaten in the League, they are better away from home so another tough afternoon for us.

We won. I am in literal shock. The top is looking very clustered. Wycombe bar that rule. Well done them.

Fantastic point for us away at Pompey today. Several key players out injured and the players who did play were knackered. We lost Ruffels during the first half which then meant we had to reshuffle and play players out of position. We go a goal down in the 2nd half and it looks like the unbeaten run is over but up pops Matty Taylor with a late equaliser. Wonderful stuff.

Reads like a draw may have been a fair reflection today, although we should have been out of sight by HT.

Only one more league game for us this month with the FA Cup and the Bury situation.

Great win for us today. Wasn’t expecting that result when I read the team sheet, least of all a RHM hat trick!

A very disappointing first half gave the Cods a mountain to climb , coupled with some shocking defending gave us a mountain to climb in the second , Fair play to Bolton they are not a basement club and have a real pro in Keith Hill
Yet again Barton takes off our leading scorer Paddy Madden and while we finished strongly it was too little too late, all in all a pretty s....afternoon

Story of our season. Look the better side, have all Of the ball but still fail to come out with a win.

Poor decision in my opinion. Pressed the panic button too quickly me thinks.

Nah, overdue if anything.

Bizarre tactics, played CBs up front when we had strikers available on the bench, sometimes played without any strikers. Weird substitutions (e.g. brought on 2 CBs today when we were down to 10 men and 1-1 against a relegation rival at home). Not just this season, but last season. Poor summer window too, only a couple of his signings were good enough, the others just L2 standard players. Way too defensive and negative overall. No wonder we scored 2 goals in 8 games.

Glad we're moving on, hopefully to a more forward thinking manager.

We were excellent today and I am not sure the red card influenced the outcome that much. I thought we were the better side in the first half, sharper and more incisive, and MK were fortunate to go in level at half time.

Hepburn Murphy was awesome. He is young and inexperienced and won't play like that every week, but it is great to know we have got a striker with that kind of potential in the squad.

Kudos to Micky Mellon once again: MK are struggling, but to produce a performance and result like that, with half the first team out injured and square pegs in round holes all over the place, takes some doing.

Well we were dogshit in the first half, dunno what Ainsworth’s half time team talk was but jaysus did we turn it around in the second half.

Still only 1-0 but meh, win’s a win.

And a hilariously pathetic second yellow for a Shrews defender into stoppage time to further screw up their chances of an equaliser. Most enjoyable.

I see Rovers lost at home to Bolton. They're in such a false position. Lower mid-table side at best.
That’s an interesting opinion considering we beat you comfortably - have you been watching all of our games?

We’re doing well considering we’ve got about 5 first team players out.

I think we’re a midtable team with injuries (including JCH). With him and them back I think we’re a play off team judging from what ive seen this season

Great point yesterday. We are decimated by injuries right now having had to change formation resulting in a right back at left back, a centre half at right back, a central midfielder at right midfield, our right attacking midfielder at central midfield and our holding midfielder being asked to play centrally in a four whereby he becomes entirely anonymous.

It was not a side we were familiar with and despite coming up against a hostile atmosphere, we secured a point.

Pompey should have comfortably won - I would presume everyone there including management knew we’d be lucky to escape with a point irrespective of our form.

They really didn’t look particularly efficient however. Marquis looks bereft of confidence and once 75 minutes came round, Pompey just seemed to hit the panic button despite the game being one way traffic. We were in no shape to attack and simply didn’t have the personnel to trouble ‘em whatsoever by this point. The goal itself was perhaps the only reasonable opportunity to score and it was a difficult execution at that.

More negative substitutions and pressing the panic button has cost us yet again. That's the fifth time we've conceded in stoppage time to cost us points and it has become unbearable. Fans turned on Jackett the moment the equaliser went in.

Just imagine we didn't beat Southend on Tuesday...

It’s fair to say we are improving we’ve lost both Sol’s opening games but they was against Ipswich and Sunderland but we was okay yesterday. Hopeful we might get a point Tuesday

We were by far the better team first half and had some decent chances to score, but as is the way currently we failed to take them.

Wycombe came out much better in the second half and got on the front foot without creating too many good chances and ended up scoring from a set-piece on the one occasion we switched off defensively. I would argue we deserved at least a draw but when you're at the top of the league these are the types of games you find a way to win. Wycombe reminded me a bit of us 2 seasons ago under Hurst - somehow manage to get in front and then holding on for a 1-0 win.

The stupid sending off at the end rounded off a thoroughly cold, wet and miserable day!

We've got a ridiculous injury issue at the moment with our best player out for two months. We started the season badly and played you at a bad time.

There is no chance in this world Bristol Rovers will make the play-offs. I can't think of a single one of your players who would make our starting 11.

Your physical style beat us and you stopped us playing so fair play for that, deliberately injuring Matty Taylor helped you massively, but over the course of the season things will settle down into their natural order.

All teams have injuries -- We ourselves have at least 5 players out at present which includes our top goal scorer. We beat you fair & square earlier this season and no way was "The Snake " deliberately fouled. He just could'nt take the barracking. Maybe none of our players could make your team but you are a massive one point ahead of us at present. For what its worth you will possibly finish up in the play offs and we will possibly be half way.

Deliberately injuring Taylor? You mean when it was an Oxford goal kick & he decided to just sit on the floor, call the referee over and asked to be subbed? The Robinson tries to say the award winning L1 pitch 'gave way underneath him' and that's what injured him... Yeah, sounds like we really did a deliberate number on him :lol::lol: Did you even attend or do you just make shit up?

We were off form too at the time, in fact we had 4 points from 4 games before playing Oxford. You also had 4 points from 4 games - yet we beat you comfortably. But go on, give me some more facts about how you played us at such a bad time in comparison to you.

I never said we will finish in the play offs, I said we're a play off team with JCH as he makes the difference for us. Until he was injured we were sitting pretty in 4th. When you say natural order, I can only assume you mean Oxford finishing 13th as that's where your attendances sit in this division... Especially considering you probably haven't had a higher average attendance than us in 20+ years. But hey, natural order and all that.

Next time try harder & try to come up with something that isn't made up, it's pretty embarrassing tbh

Taylor was out for a good few weeks after the injury, definitely didn't bottle it, he's not the type to bottle anything. If he was a bottler he wouldn't make big decisions like joining the big boys down the road when he was with you lot.

Weird you've brought attendances into it, I'd like to see some proof you've averaged higher than us for 20+ years...

I have nothing against Rovers, but don't delude yourself you will end up anywhere near the play-offs come the end of the season. Your style of play is effective but most of your players looked bang average on the ball. Like I've said before not one of your players would make it into Oxford's starting eleven.
