We do have a leasing.com game at home on November 12th ....
My next home league game unless Bolton get rearranged before Xmas will be 29th December, I'm working when we play Tranmere on the 14th.

Peterborough have somehow managed to grab a point in the last minute. Serves us right for playing it out.

The standard of officiating in this division is fucking appalling.

Great result. Should have been more, but in truth being 2-0 up after 27 minutes and with a sending off we took our foot off the gas early. Couldn’t have asked for a better narrative with big games approaching.

On a separate note - chuffing hell, tactically Rochdale were bad. The second half they had something like 15 touches in our half and insisted on short goal kicks for which resulted in OUFC corners or OUFC retaining possession leaving Rochdale in all sorts of trouble. They really could have done with just lumping it forward to Andrew and Henderson when insisting up playing two up top...

Our disallowed goal today is as bad as the offside goal Fleetwood scored against us this week.

Awful mistakes.

After the disappointment of the mid week defeat, Fleetwood produced one of the most dominating performances I have ever seen from this club. To say it was one sided is an understatement, MK defended heroically throughout but on this display they will have trouble staying up
In the last 10 minutes we had 5 forwards up front Madden/Evans/Burns/Hunter and McAleny ( great to see him back after a lengthy injury -real fire power and we deservedly picked up the 3 points

Hard earned 1st away win of the season, not at our best today but after playing really well and losing in recent weeks will take a poor performance and getting all 3 points

Agreed.

The 2nd half was like an attack Vs defence training session.

The only worry is the possible injuries to Brannagan and Cadden.

It was a good strike to be fair - just one of those days where we just couldn't score today.
Mr Evans seemed calmer than usual - is he mellowing??

Coventry away next - we've a decent record against them but we need to start taking some chances.

He hasn't been as animated this season as he has in the past, he did say when he came in he would be much more reserved on the side line

A win is a win, but the game also rang a few alarm bells for me. MK had not scored in, I think 7 prior games, yet we start the game with a sole attacker in Madden. After 10 or so minutes it was evident that MK were one of the poorest teams we have played in many a year but no change in formation. When the Cods attacked we had 3 defenders plus the keeper covering their sole up front man, who got no service from his team. Out of the 13 corners I don't think we managed a shot on target. Set peices around their box, which were plenty, produced little or nothing. It was only towards the end of the game, that the formation was changed to provide more attacking firepower. Even then it was a keeper error that gifted us a winning goal. It is good to have 75% possession but only if you can make this count.

In this game we couldn't because in my personal opinion;
The manager got the intial formation and tatics wrong and took nearly the whole game to correct it.
Our passing at times was woeful as were all of our set plays.
There was very little shouting from the team and no apparent leader(s) on the field directing operations.

This should have been a very comortable 4/5-0 win, my concern is that quite a few other teams would have achieved this given the oppossion on the day.

We are a right state at the moment. Not a single shot on target. Fleetwood had something like 75% possession and we set up from minute one parking the bus.

Honestly Tisdale has to go. He is tactically inept, L1 is a step too far for him and shows why he's spent the majority of his career in L2 or lower as a manager.

1 goal in 8 games, 1 point out of a possible 24 is our worst return in our short history. Think the only thing stopping the chairman sacking him is it would cost a bucket load to get rid of Tisdale and his staff, and bring in a new manager.

Lose to Tranmere next weekend and surely his time is up.

Barton got it wrong in midweek against Coventry and could certainly have been more positive with the formation in the 1st half. At the end of the day we have all seen too many games where teams dominate and still manage to lose the game
There is also the scenario where one plays a lower placed club and struggle to break down, and yet against higher placed clubs are suddenly world beaters. I seem to think MK Dons beat Blackpool earlier in the season quite comfortably ? Look at Accy beating Ipswich the other, if we had still been playing them we still would'nt have found the net
It was 3 points that was the key thing, Coutts completed 137 passes in the match and without doubt he is helping Dempsey . Onwards and upwards....

Oh dear, what a shame, how sad. He went from managing a supporter owned club to a club that caused another supporter owned club to exist. No sympathy whatsoever.

You should be wanting him to stay and take us back down, not mocking the situation. If we lose at home to Tranmere on Saturday he'll probably be gone and a new manager will almost certainly improve things (just like it has with AFC moving on from Wally), it can't get much worse.

I think all three promoted sides are struggling at the minute.

We don't seem a million miles off being ok, we're just needing maybe a bit more L1 nous maybe. We're not particularly bad or anything - results haven't matched performances.

We shall not beat you, excluding a minor miracle. We have a terrible record at your gaff and are... well, a bit crap really. Tisdale's job is safe for the time being(!)

I did feel for your fans having to witness that display. On a positive note, top marks to them for the fun jesture of each of them having a photocopied arrow to show the team where the goal was.

Can't disagree with any of your points.

Oxford United are the big dogs of the league. If we stay injury free we'll piss this tinpot league. Up the yellows.

Well, quite. It's a pity our most influential player is now out for a couple of months.

Hopefully he is back by the best case scenario which would be by the Ipswich game which will probably be called off anyway for international call ups.

Away at AFCW for us tomorrow.

A win here would be very good given their recent upturn in form has left them just 5 points below us. Doesn't look like a game that's going to be full of goals.

We'll still be without Bolger who sits out the second game of his ban. Bostwick, Coker and Freck still out and I'd hazard a guess we won't see any of them until next year.

The 10 day break will have allowed us to get more minutes into Pett and Hesketh but neither are likely to start and displace any of the first XI at the minute anyway.

Sunderland away tomorrow. Could get ugly..

If they score 5 we'd have conceded 48 in 16 - 3 a game over 16 games. Achievement

Big game tomorrow against a surprisingly underachieving Pompey. I don't think league position will dictate our game plan. It'll be a tough game irrespective and I tend to think (based on conjecture) that it'll be a hard fought contest.

Our game against Sunderland in midweek despite a number of changes and injuries to key players'... We were naff. Our worst display in a long time, though credit to Sunderland who exploited the changes and were decent. They should have won. We got lucky.

That being said we are on a good run of results, that being said most OUFC supporters would likely take a draw if offered...
