Home to Blackpool for us tomorrow.

MA's first game was at their place and I think they went second or joint second with a win that night and now we're level on points, albeit they have games in hand.

They'll be a change at LB after Toffolo's impending sale so Melbourne will come in, who we signed from WBA after his loan spell ended. Still only have two CB's on the books.

Blackpool aren't in great form at the minute but they don't have a bad away record this season.

The return of James Norwood, albeit he'd probably better bring his swimming trunks. Hopefully we make an early call on it for the sake of the Ipswich fans, can't see it being all that much drier than Tuesday.

Monumental win that. Doncaster were far better than anyone we've played this season. First team to truly out-pass us this season. No away wins till Christmas and a now we've won 3 in a row. Huge.

Ipswich were simply better than us, especially in the second half where we looked leagues apart. I'm afraid we haven't really stepped up to League One standard since our promotion, and we look all set for the drop.

This had a nailed on draw written all over it, both teams in a 5 game winless run, indeed the first half was probably the poorest from a Fleetwood team this season
The second half was a big improvement and credit to the Cods for getting back into the game soon after the start , Lewie Coyle getting his first ever goal for the club. I thought we would go and and win the match but in the end a draw was a fair result for both sides

Fairly comfortable win today against a Blackpool side who moved sideways more than a crab. They had one off the line late on and his the inside of the post early on but they were isolated incidents in a game where they didn't really trouble us.

We missed a penalty, and their 'keeper made a couple of good saves so it was a decent performance off the back of losing 3 first teamers last week, albeit only two of those who left were match fit. Our midfield and attack probably had an average age of 21/22 today, it was very young (and short!).

Edun really impressed on debut, nice finish from John Jules for the goal, not bad at all for a teenager.

Well we gifted Dale a comedy goal in the first half (goalie screws up his clearance, hits a Daley, “back of the net!”)...but got revenge with a fluke goal - a cross that accidentally goes in.

Then a young and over-keen Dale defender takes one of our players out in the six-yard box in extra time...doh, Fergie-time winner for us.

Hopefully that win steadies the nerves a little.

I thought we played pretty well today, but as so often this season our best was not quite good enough. It was a game of fine margins and two moments of quality from Ipswich undid us, after we had contained them effectively for the majority of the game.

Woodyard was outstanding in midfield and Clarke was excellent at the back. Those two signings have made us much more solid as a unit and at least give us a slim chance of survival. With a more solid defence we have better chance of scraping a few one-nils against the mid table and lower half sides.

The real test is next though, away to Donny, without a doubt our biggest bogey team. We haven't beaten them since 2007 and haven't won in Doncaster since 1989.
Hopefully the weather is ok cos I'm planning on getting the kids from school and going straight up there.

Didn't go, but that agrees entirely with the saner posters on our message-board.

I understand kudos are due to the big man (Akinfenwa) for his good sportsmanship in trying to console young Luke for his error at the end. Not just a big body - a big spirit as well. Respect.

Thought our's was a cracking game yesterday, for once helped by a ref who actually allowed a good physical battle to develop which bubbled but never boiled over, although Toney was doing his best to earn himself a red.

We may have lost Forss but Sorensen who we've got in on loan at the back is a monster. No forward in this league will fancy playing against him.

Boro had the chances to win it but 2 shots on target out of 18 tells its own story. Some of the best forwards in the division but can't seem to score.

Clark Harris missed a simple chance from an offside position but it would have counted, so we should have been behind at HT.

Second half we moved it out to the wings much quicker and reaped the rewards.

Peterborough away next Saturday and Ipswich home the following Tuesday should give us a good idea of where we can finish.

Largely agree with this, though did wonder after seeing the highlights, if we could have done better preventing their equaliser. Ipswich were clearly the better side, but will need to improve on this to get automatic promotion.

I's a difficult time for you while your manager sorts out his family problems.

You could do worse than get Mr Warnock in until the end of the season.

He transformed us and kept us up a few years ago before he finished up at Cardiff.

The club can then get the poor guy back when his troubles are sorted pre season.

Would love that to happen and it’s been mentioned a lot since Warnock said he’d drop to L2 to reach 1,500 games as manager.

Reasonable enough point against the Olympic diving squad on Saturday, and up to 8 unbeaten. Honestly wasn't too much in the game, both sides had minimal chances and the keepers at both ends weren't really tested at all. We have been drawing a lot lately, but they've come against decent sides - Ipswich A, Pompey H, Peterborough A and now Oxford H. With a series of games to come against sides slightly lower in the table, the fact that we've stayed in touch with the top 6 through this difficult run could pay dividends - but we still need a striker.

We used to get the same complaints from pretty footballing sides when Evans was here, we used to love the bleating.

There's more ways to be successful at football than trying to emulate Barca.

Oxford were very good early season at NYS, the best team to visit so far.
They did go down rather easily, but most teams (including us) do these days.
Sadly that's how the game is going, it's up to refs to spot cheating and play on.

But, teams suss it out as the season goes on and we bullied them at the Kassam a couple of weeks ago.

Personally I like to see my team playing football in the opposition half, I am not keen on 3rd division defenders passing it around in front of our goal, it often leads to disaster.

It's Oxford's way to take 3 passes where 1 would do but they can't complain when the opposition press them and knock them out of their stride.
