Pah your all lightweights, try being 7th in January to relegated before the last game of the season
Wow! When was this?

You seem to have some exciting ends to seasons, was it Donny Vs Brentford that time on the last game of the season?

How many times in 2019 have you seen Bradford?

Didn't Bradford drop last season from the play offs though, leading into this seasons form?

You're doing a Gillingham from 15/16. Not out the top 6 all season until the very last day of the season, top two or three for the majority of the time and looking every bit possible title challengers.

Finished 9th.

If I'd have known my throwaway comparison (written at 7:42 in the morning) would have been picked apart so much I'd have stayed in bed :surr:

Yep, Brentford were awarded a 94th min penalty, score and they would finish second and we would be in the playoffs. Trotta hit the bar and the clearance found its way up the other end for Coppinger to score and win us the title. The following season we were relegated in the 96th minute of the last game, Birmingham scored a late equaliser and we went down on goal difference. The initial post was 2 seasons later.

Awesome!

I remember watching the highlights of that game. It's similar to the Watford Vs Leicester in the play offs, that was excellent.

And I thought we had it mad winning the play offs in penalties and the following season scoring in the 93rd minute in the final game to win automatic promotion as Accrington drew, securing a double promotion.

Good times

95/96, us at Millwall were top of what's now the Championship all season til mid December, not out of the top 10 until March, got relegated on the last day.

The fact it’s on the tv makes me nervous, we tend to be a bit shit when on the box, especially in games where it’s expected we are going to do well.

We shall see, the team this season continues to go above and beyond my expectations.

The football league have told Coventry City that we have until the 5th March to confirm our stadium for next season. If this fails, our place in the football league will be gone.

CCFC have made it clear that our only option is the Ricoh and of course Wasps still don't want to do business with the club while SISU continue the legal action.

Make or break time for the club.

Bloody hell, had no idea that was still going on at Coventry.

Was at our 4-4 draw at Sixfields (Callum Wilson hat trick I think), was just a weird atmosphere with people watching from the hill. Think the crowd was about 2,000 and 50% PNE.

Yep, still been going on.

The football league aren't allowing the club to move outside the city this time. There will be no Northampton move.

Are there even any other options that are appropriate within Coventry? Ive been to the rugby club before but cant imagine that would be a suitable ground for the football club, it was pretty small!

Jeez, sorry to hear about that. I also thought this was now done & dusted!

So there are no local small stadiums you could go to for a season or so?

The rugby ground in the city centre is just too small. It's the perfect location but has no room for expenasion beyond the 4k it currently holds. Due to segregation and health and safety, the EFL wouldn't allow it.

Other than that, there isn't anywhere. Nuneaton is close, but outside the city boundaries the EFL require.

In the first half at Home Park Coventry were the best side I've seen visit this season - could have been 3 or 4 up comfortably. Fortunately they can't finish their dinner and we turned it around. Was lovely passing football though.

Hope everything sorts itself out.

Barnsley tomorrow. That should put the final nails in our promotion coffin.

We've a shite record down your way. And I've a shite record at games this season - I'm going

Seriously though I don't think we'll win tomorrow. We're missing big Kieffer again and I just get the feeling that with a chance to pull away a bit we'll cock it up. Hope I'm wrong obviously...

It is set up for a cracking game as Pompey have to win so pressure oddly off them. That would bring it to two point gap rather than eight (nine effectively with gd) if they lose.

Sunderland - who have the quality to score bucket loads but have looked horrific at the back when i have seen them - can crank up the pressure too. Never an easy game down at Rovers so no foregone conclusion but another very interesting game.

We are better away than at home but I have a feeling we are really fired up for this.

Going for a 1-1 after dropping (feels awesome to say this) 2 points away to Pompey on Tuesday

We have an awful record against Donny and I fully expect that to continue tomorrow.
