Shit game between two shit teams tonight. You'd think we were fighting relegation based on our performance tonight.

Not seen the first penalty incident but many are saying it shouldn't have been given. The second was blatant but thankfully it was of Nigel Quashie quality and we got a draw courtesy of an own goal.

Our collapse is nothing short of a disaster now and we're playing turgid football to go with it.
Will need to see a replay but my thoughts from watching iFollow was that our striker had no right to get to the ball, somehow turned his way into the controlling position and was caught.

Definitely not one of those dirty fouls/blatant penalties, but outside the box that would be a foul no doubt.

In my mind it was (obviously) but will wait to see the replay

I'm fed up with blaming the (admitttedly awful) refs in this division for our failings now Gassy. All due respect, to draw to a side who are/were 20th in the league at home courtesy of some hefty luck on our account is simply not good enough.

I expect Barnsley to hammer the final nail into the coffin on Saturday.

Without doubt on paper you should be collecting 3 point before kick off.

We all know the feeling, although I’d rather be tired of blaming the ref when in the top 4, rather than the bottom 4.

Anyway, good luck to Pompey. I went to Fratton on our relegation reason when I think we lost 2-1 or 3-2. Watched last seasons game on iFollow and was amazed by the atmosphere.

Funnily enough, despite your highest league position in what must be 7-8 years (complete guess), tonight was very quiet by your standards.

Success certainly makes us all complacent!

It's the style of football more than anything. Dull and uninspiring and when we're not winning, nobody is motivated to create an atmosphere. Whilst we're at our highest position since 2012, we're still a league below our natural level and so not being the underdog doesn't help matters either.

Just seen a replay of the first penalty incident tonight. It's a foul and therefore the correct decision.

Win at Rochdale next game and you've closed the gap on the pack to a one game swing.

It's so tight down there any sort of good or bad run will chop and change a lot of places and teams.

Boom........Wombles right back in the mix.

Despite Barnsley's 0-0 tonight, it should be pretty comfortable for them on Saturday. They have a strong midfield and ours is non-existent at the moment. Rovers should have won last night.

So many players out of form. Manager switching formations regularly. We're starting to look like the Bradford of 2019.

I can see the reason for the meltdown tbf, not sure I've seen a top 3 team at home play so bad.

Hopefully it's just a bit of bad form and things improve for you lot, we'll try out best to help you out Vs Sunderland on the weekend

We didn’t play bad at all last night. Sometimes it just doesn’t fall for you, thankfully it’s been a rare occurrence this season. We’d won 6 home games in a row before last night, it’s mad.

Akin to the Wimbledon game at the start of the season where they came for a point and got one as we just couldn't break them down - not happened often though and we didn't lose so could be worse, and credit to Burton for setting up in a way that got them something from the game. Portsmouth will come out and attack us on Saturday so hopefully we'll have more space to exploit.

Just to say as well Burton have been absolutely class regarding the Barnsley fan (Steve Croft) who collapsed in the original fixture, introduced him to all their players last night and they presented him with a signed shirt. Great gesture from a great club.

Happy to receive input regarding what you want to see on the next one(s). Honestly though, if you could carry on slagging him off that would really help me out.
Didn’t another Luton fan admit to slagging him off, and it wasn’t actually me?

We finally won a game but bloody hell, our defence. We are finally showing signs of being dangerous in front of goal again with Leadbitter getting his 5th assist in as many matches and making us good at corners all of a sudden.

Bristol Rovers away part 1 on Saturday, they haven't lost many recently so just hope this win sparks something.

I remember under Jackett in this league we went 22 games unbeaten which is good - trouble was about 15 of them were draws!

Defensive wise we were fine but in terms of scoring goals or creating chances the form was pretty average.

He only lasted a season before Graham Taylor came back in.

Having said that Jackett knows how to get promotion and you are still doing ok - maybe just needs one win to get it going again!

Understand you've lost a few players through injuries and loan players going back?

Cheers SH. I think we're seeing regression to the norm, really.

We were very fortunate to have a settled team in the first half of the season. Injuries and suspensions were few and far between. The defence was rock solid and we always seemed to win when we took the lead. Confidence was sky high.

Then, January came - all of our "season long" loans were recalled by their clubs for one reason or another. Biggest loss was undoubtedly Ben Thompson who was a real talisman for us in midfield. Since then, we've brought in a few decent options but neither of the two midfielders look up to Thompson's level so midfield is definitely weaker. Defence is also weaker after losing Whatmough for the rest of the season. Lowe and Curtis out wide seem to have both lost form at the same time, too.

KJ may turn things round but the play-off lottery is the likeliest destination.

A strange game is football - we've gone from not scoring in 6 league games to scoring 6 in the last two! Felt a bit for Oxford last night cos they played well but both defences had a bad night its just we were a bit more clinical.

Last night was the first of four consecutive home games for us which will hopefully see us pull a bit further away from the relegation zone.

Had to buy tickets in the away stand, at home for Barnsley! Fingers crossed we pull our fingers out.
I'm not sure why your club didn't split the stand - we were told we'd got 2,000 and that was it. Then we're told 2 days ago that actually we can have another 300 as the away end is all ours. Weird.

As long as you're not that tit with the bell then you'll be fine.

How many times in 2019 have you seen Bradford?

You misunderstand - as in "We are this year's Bradford" in that we are collapsing from a position of strength. I'm sure you've been wonderful in 2019.

Didn't Bradford drop last season from the play offs though, leading into this seasons form?

You're doing a Gillingham from 15/16. Not out the top 6 all season until the very last day of the season, top two or three for the majority of the time and looking every bit possible title challengers.

Finished 9th.
