I believe Wimbledon have to agree? But that completely fucks up a bank holiday of football which pisses me off immensely.

May as well get used to this kind of thing now, Kenneth. The price of success is falling into the hands of the TV companies. The last thing on their minds is consideration for the plight of the average fan.

Humongous pressure on Barnsley tonight. Lose tonight and Luton beat Gillingham tomorrow; I dare say we’re calling it.

This forum is going to be very quiet when Luton get promoted

Lincoln look like they are coming up, they have quite a few to replace us. Their errr....”style” of play and the Cowleys “antics” should generate some debate as well!

There used to be a few Mansfield fans on the old forum too, they still knocking about?

If we're still in L1, I can't wait to have Wycombe & Lincoln then

There's pressure on us tonight but I doubt many Barnsley fans will have their eyes on Luton - it's Sunderland who I'm concerned with for obvious reasons. Luton have all but won the title as far as I'm concerned, no team has come close to beating them since we did way back in October.

I wouldn’t go that far. Rochdale came pretty close, but I don’t think we’ve actually been behind in a game since we last lost. Is that correct? That is equally as staggering as the unbeaten run.
Edit: maybe only Sunderland?

:told: on the "style" and another :told: on disparaging remarks about Mr and Mr Cowley.

Walsall came closest, with us equalising with seconds of stoppage time left. And we were behind in that game, two down in fact. Also behind at Sunderland. I think that's it.

I know but I expected a little more, either coming up would need a big overhaul to be competitive imho

We were massively under strength to be fair. Brown, Moore, Pinillos and McGeehan all missing tonight.

I’m not saying I disagree completely but I’d argue we certainly have the core of a team that can establish itself back in the championship next season.

A draw against the Man City of league 1, decent. The money will run out though, giving them same way as Rushden & Diamonds IMO.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Really missing Moore, McGeehan and Brown going forward and Dougall shoring things up yet we're still unbeaten in 18 - just need to find that bit of quality up top and we'll get over the line.

Pretty sure they've not spent much and have sold players to fund them, Potts and Bradshaw I think?
An awful lot more than ourselves, should be going up really.

They’ll be down again next season though, they never last long

Sunderland have spent much more though, as you know mind that money doesn't guarantee success, it helps don't get me wrong however sometimes you can get by, Accy last season, Luton this etc.

For this league, rarely does the top budget not guarantee success, at least for one of the auto places.

Huge game for us today away at Peterborough. Win it and we're only a point off the play-offs.

Wow Accrington’s pitch is an absolute disgrace.
