Just to add to the above actually which I meant to say.

Thought Lee looked way below the level today. His first touch was noticeably off and so many attacks broke down because of it. We need a lot more from that 10 role than he is currently. Needs a rest for me with all the talent we have who can play in that role.

Write us off for second at your peril.

Looking forward to putting an end to Luton’s run next week.

Would take some run and spectacular collapse of at least 2 sides. Not likely

Do have a feeling you’ll beat us next week though.

Unlikely but only 6 behind Barnsley with a game in hand which is against Wycombe. Win that and it becomes interesting. I said it a few weeks back but I want to finish at least 3rd as I believe the top 5 are head and shoulders above the rest. Would fancy beating anyone that finishes 6th over 2 legs. We are well in the hunt for that.

I genuinely believe we’ll beat you. We’re now finding ways to win without playing well and your run can’t go on forever. We’ve been formidable at home of late. I remember ending Huddersfield’s 40 odd game unbeaten run, think we’ll do it again.

Then again, I have been on the booze all day.

We are 28 games unbeaten. An all time divisional record. Today was the first time we were behind in 4 months. If were talking about being formidable at home we’ve not lost on our patch in 13 months.

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves...

Great last gasp win today and all of a sudden even top spot isn’t out of sight, two games in hand however i just want to defo come 2nd and not face the play offs. Even though i said i wasn’t arsed by the checkatrade final losing at Wembley was still gutting but it was a great weekend. Burton on Tue who done well today so i aint counting our chickens yet. Plus Pompeys in form so anything can still occur. I’ve always stated it won’t be easy and there will still be twists just yet.

Of course, but i don’t know how you can say you’ll genuinely think you’ll win considering the state of the two teams. We had an off day today.

It’ll be a very close game. Charlton were lucky to scrape a point in our home game. I’m just gutted I can’t be there.

Give Barnsley a good hiding today. We played well. Really disappointed with the tykes who never got going. Great bunch of lads though and magnanimous in defeat in the pub after.
We will run out of games for the playoffs sadly as donny keep winning but on this form no-one will want to play us at the pirelli...and that includes pompey and Luton

We were so, so poor today, but that sort of result was long overdue. We've lost our attacking threat with Moore being out for the season, lost bite in midfield with Dougall being out for the season and have now started leaking goals at the most crucial time of the season.

Credit to Burton, they were miles better than us on the day and could've easily had more.

Play-offs it is, unless by some miracle Sunderland and/or Portsmouth actually lose a game between now and May.

Felt we dropped 2 points today, started the game well, then poor defending saw us go in at half time 1 down. Bringing on the two Ashley's for the second half lifted our game and after equalising expected us to go on and win it. Nothing ever goes to plan for Fleetwood and they scored a thumping second, fortunately they soon gave away a penalty which Evans duly converted. Southend will be pleased with the draw and dont look like a team facing possible relegation

I would not write off automatic yet. Lots of twists and turns I am sure, and we can do you a favour Tuesday night perhaps.

That Charlton game was very weird. Yes they were lucky to get a point in the end right at the death, but they were the better side for most of that game and should have been out of sight to be honest. In a way it was also us who were lucky to get a point as well!

Just got a feeling next week will be the one and things will start looking very tight again, it’s the Luton way to sweat it out!

Lost 1-0 to Doncaster in the classic FIFA style of we’ll create loads, hit the inside of the post, lose count of near misses, whilst the other team go up the other end and score with their only shot on target that’s straight at him but squirms under the goalkeeper.

You hit the inside of the post and created fuck all other than that. We created fuck all other than the goal. One of those games really

We’re playing well, we’ve been excellent at home and your run won’t go on forever so I fancy us to win. You’re Luton Town ffs, not Man City, you’re beatable. You don’t have to get on the defensive when someone fancies their chances against you.

The “state” of the two teams? Not sure what you’re implying but I would hardly say we’re in any sort of state having lost only once in 2019 and unbeaten in 14 home games.

Lucky to “scrape” a draw at your place, behave

Played you off the pitch for the most part and would have won if not for some poor goalkeeping.

Fighting talk. Love it. All we need is one of your players to say yr the best in the League:whistle: Should be a cracking game. Really looking forward to it. Liked Charlton a lot from earlier in season. Theyve let themsekves down not being higher

If that Charlton side has been safe playoffs all season then we should be up there next year as long as we keep our squad together.

We should have been about 3-0 up by ht. As it was, Carey missed a pen and they went straight up the other end and scored their 1st shot. Then a spawny 2nd after the restart and the game was dead. Charlton fouled and fouled and had 5 yellows after about 50 mins I think. And could have been down to reduced numbers more than once.

Their fans had a good day out tho, best ive seen at hp this season. That drummer must have some muscular endurance to keep going the whole game.

Hardly fighting talk, we’re playing at home where we have a good record this season and I expect to win every game there and Luton are no exception. If we lose, we lose. Who really cares?

We sold our top scorer in January and never replaced him. If we had we would be a lot closer in my opinion.

So, you played us on an off day - still lost 2-0 and then claim that if you keep your current squad who are 4 points off relegation that you’ll be up there next year?

The knack to being in a comfortable position in the play-offs is winning when not playing well like we did yesterday, not losing even when you play well, like you did yesterday. (For half an hour anyway)

Yep, was a great day out.

Didnt realise Charlton are playing Wycombe mid week.

They will win that with ease I would have thought but at least they will be worn out by playing a 120 minute match to do it!

We will probably go and lose that to be fair. Really struggled to break them down at The Valley, I sense it’s going to be one of those really frustrating nights.

I saw something yesterday I had never seen before. In the first half it looked like one of the Charlton players tried to control the ball with his penis. He presumably did not, but the way he bent his chest over to control the ball and it went straight amidships, it looked like he did.

We got absolutely battered by Coventry yesterday, but some how came away with a point. Another point towards safety - a win against Bradford on Saturday and I'd say we're nearly there

Bradford were pretty decent and didn’t deserve to lose but they don’t have a cutting edge

Glad we have Burton at home rather than away tomorrow.

Our next few games are daunting ones but a good result tomorrow puts us in more control than I thought we'd have at this stage:

Burton (h)
Coventry (h)
Doncaster (h)
Peterborough (a)
Portsmouth (h)

James Collins won League 1 player of the year last night.

For me though Jack Stacey deserves our club POTS.

Should be him for me with Shinnie perhaps a close second. Collins is very deserving as his goals match his work rate, almost does as much defensivley as in attack!

Its very much a sum of all parts. I was a bit unsure on Bradley early in the season but he and Pearson are imense. I think the most important position for us apart from both our mobile and superb fullbacks is the least glamourous positition, that has been equally well fullfilled by all three of its servants in Rea McCormack and recently Pelly. The base of the diamond.

Yes that's my opinion. But Carey, Lameiras and a few others are out of contract so we'll see. Bowyer said he couldn't understand why we are where we are - discounting once again our disastrous start to the season we'd be challenging playoffs so maybe Derek will wake them up in August next year. With the exception of Taylor and Williams(2nd half) I didn't think Charlton had that much about them and I think we will be playing you again next year. Obviously I've only seen you play for 90 minutes but I can't really judge it on much else.

It'll be a tough year to be in the playoffs when 2 of Sunderland/Barnsley/Pompey will be in there.
