Tranmere vs Lincoln. 2nd worst home record vs the 2nd worst away record.

We've won more games against the top 6 than we have the bottom 6 and our away games are a complete write-off anyway. It's not just the results but the performances have been absolutely stinking.

Take a draw and move on.

We’ve won as many games away from home in the last 2 weeks as we have won home games all season!
Not scored at home for over 400 minutes!
Not won a home game in almost 3 months!
The Prenton pitch is still a pudding.

1-0 either way .

We've seemingly decided to start the work on our pitches whilst there are no games because it's been dug up at Sincil Bank and two of the three training pitches are dug up as well.

Our retained list is out, and released are:

Charlie Andrew
Michael Bostwick
Neal Eardley
Lee Frecklington
Akeem Hinds
Jamie McCombe
Tom Pett
Jason Shackell
Alan Sheehan
Grant Smith
Josh Vickers

No real surprises. Eardley and Bostwick would have been kept under normal circumstances but I imagine Eardley will look to stay over in the NW and cut travelling costs down at times like this when contracts will be less lucrative. Bostwick will have been a higher earner, which is a shame because he's be immense for us.

Sad to see Eardley and Bostwick go but the correct decision.
What was DC doing to hand Coker at least an 18 month deal, that and Frecks contract is just baffling.

I can see Alan Sheehan retiring and rejoining Luton as a coach.

I expect Frecklington will retire too. I wonder if there is a coaching slot at the Millers for him?

Bozzie is the only real disappointing departure for me but I get why we need to do it along with all the others. I agree he would have been one of high earners. He is a true warrior on the pitch and his lack of pace is made up for in his aggression and desire to not be beaten.
Eardley has also been a great player but I think there have been signs this season that League One has been catching him out more and more. He is a great pro, shouldn’t be a problem being offered a contract nearer to home (though Scunny are rumoured to be keen).
The same can be said of Shacks, he wasn’t quite the same player for us this season after an immense couple of years.

I would say that Shacks has dropped quite a few more bollocks than Eardley this season. Personally, before this lot, I was thinking Eardley would maybe have been second fiddle (reduced terms) to Lewis next season.

Not sure which part of the word 'confidentiality' the Rochdale Director doesn't comprehend...

"I attended an EFL meeting on Thursday and whilst we have been sworn to confidentiality, it appears that a new season date could be a lot sooner than we all feared, and potentially with crowds in some form coming back the same. I think in the next week we will be able to communicate something on this front."

In fairness he's probably allowed to say he attended a meeting but he can't say about the specific details of the meeting, which isn't exactly a breach of confidentiality the way I see it.

Followed by by revealing details of the meeting is a clear breach. Stupid thing to do.

No specific dates or specific figures regarding crowds though. Haven't a few other executives mentioned about this meeting anyway?
Apparently another one has. Not seen who that was or what he/she have said, though.

Yeah, I love it as well. A good balance between retro and modern.

it's similar to the mid-90's Grant Brown/Gareth Ainsworth Echo sponsored kit, ironically enough around the time Appleton also played for us.

Our new home kit, more red this season and back to red shortsView attachment 12865

who is the kit manufacturer? I like the kit, but what I assume to be the manufacturer logo makes you look like the Japan national team.

Also, what the fvck is a government-owned train company doing sponsoring your shirt?

elite pro make the shirts, same as Lincoln’s and Castleford Tigers amongst others, they are based in Donny so it makes total sense to use them, oh and the Japan National shirt is a replica of ours not the other way round:bg:
I’ve got no idea on the sponsorship rules but they did it last year too, along with Preston and I’m sure another club.
