What do you make of the Player Layer kits? We had them a few years ago and the quality of the replicas were horrendous, like the fake Premier League shirts you can buy in Turkey.

Not great tbh, they do feel a bit cheap.

We're keeping all of the kits the same this season, because we didn't sell enough and have loads left over. Don't mind keeping the kits the same for a few years as a more general point, but maybe we'd sell a few more if we went back to stripes so it's disappointing we'll have the all blue for yet another season.

So is that the third season in the same kit?

It will be a second season for the home and away kits, a third season for the third kit. But we also had a plain blue kit in 2019/20 as well, so three seasons at least of plain blue.

Our beautiful 125th anniversary kit, season ticket holders will have their name stitched into it if you donated your season ticket cash back from this year (which has proved a bit controversial)

Our original brown and blue colours

I'm a big fan of anniversary kits and that Cobblers shirt looks awesome. Seems a pity it will only be worn once though.

Yeah the consensus is that should really be our away kit

Nice that Tranmere kit, always should have the green trim to differentiate like Vale with the gold third colour etc

Only thing I would say is the lack of “Wirral” on the sponsor. That’s like synonymous with Tranmere shirts isn’t it?

I agree entirely but its been 7 years, I think, since had had a "Wirral" shirt. A lot of people, usually from the posher parts such as Heswall etc, in the area objected to the council sponsoring a football club stating the money could be better used so it`s unlikely we shall see it on our shirts again.

Even after 18-20 years I still think a Vale shirt only really looks right with "Tunstall Assurance" on it to be fair! (Think they went bust though!)

Must have been a relatively popular kit colour back in the day. By that I mean more than zero clubs played in it. It was our first colours too and we had an equally beautiful throwback shirt a few years ago.

Bury had the same colours and they had a throw back around a decade ago.

I like the home. Opinions on the green being re-added to our club colours is mixed but mostly positive and the club have doubled down with even more green this time. We have always had red and white but the third colour was black over the course of the last 30 years under our old owner, but I think we as a fan base want to forget about him and his reign as quickly as possible and the inclusion of the black everywhere is very much an identity of his ownership. We had green in the 80's for a few seasons, it's a unique colour combination that not many teams have and most of our fans seem to like it.

Not a huge fan of the away kit though, too much green. For the green works better as a tertiary or secondary colour, the harsh green with red is a bit of an eyesore IMO. Third shirt is a beauty, has the name of all the season ticket holders who left their money in the club on it, (including mine!). Really that should be the away shirt, it looks much nicer and is much more "Walsall". White primary, red secondary with green tertiary is my personal dream. White shirts red shorts Walsall is a real throwback, even further than the green in the 80's.

The home one for Walsall looks good. Reminds me in term of the style of the one Errea did for Vale in 2016/17. For Walsall’s sake they should hope that’s not an omen for how the season will pan out as we ended up getting relegated in that.

The away one looks like something Mexico would wear.

Like the Walsall kits, similar to our England 82 style kit we had as mentioned.

Like the green, more attractive than the lime green we had, although is funny the away kit is the same as the keepers kit?

The names one is a nice tough, we did similar a few years ago and is always a shirt to keep if your name is on it.

I like the Walsall home kit, but it does instantly make me think of the Hungarian flag? Maybe you are serving ghoulash and paprikash rather than pies?

We’ve launched a new third kit for next season. Black with an amber trim. On the back will be the names of those who bought 2020/21 season tickets and who contributed to the United We Stand fund (wonder of my name will be on twice…)

Home and away kits will remain the same as last seasons.
