We’ve launched a new third kit for next season. Black with an amber trim. On the back will be the names of those who bought 2020/21 season tickets and who contributed to the United We Stand fund (wonder of my name will be on twice…)

Home and away kits will remain the same as last seasons.
By 'amber' do you mean bright yellow?

Our home kit is released on Friday... Robbie involved again so interesting to see if its "out there" like last seasons home kit or if we go for something classy like the Black away one he designed.

our kits due to be announced any day now - i'm told by someone at the club that it looks good. I'm also told that the away kit is pink next season.

Our new home one will be revealed at 15:30. Hopefully we keep it simple and not try something like last seasons effort.

Pretty nice! Bit random looking at the release up an erupting volcano!

Better than last years by a mile. Happy with that one. Has a bit of a Real Madrid (or MK Dons less appealingly) look to it.

Looks like we might be going back to purple for the away.

That was keepers.

I think a clue in the video with what’s on his washing line… the black and gold quarters.

I'm not much for this new vale home top preferred last seasons. I think some people on twitter based on those comments just say they like it cos its got a vale badge on it. I won't be buying it be the first home shirt in about 15 years that I havent had.

What's with all the gold instead of black? Definite MK Dons vibes.

We have black white and gold usually but have focused on the gold to thank the golden fans are something I believe for sticking their money in.

It’s a similar clean design to the black away last season.

I like it, it’s different but does have one problem…

White shorts!

99/00 - All white - Relegation
07/08 - All white - Relegation
17/18 - All white - lowest ever EFL finish

It’s a bit of a curse!

It’s a nice kit, for MK Dons. Since when can you just change your colours?

We haven’t technically changed colours just left one out. It will be a massive seller = £££ so that’s the main thing.

On that it appears to have been very successful sales-wise today. Don’t know what sort of profit margins clubs get out of replica shirt sales but even so it’s a step up from say under Smurthwaite whose idea of a kit reveal was a dodgy photo of a creased shirt hung over a chair.

Just need some players now.

Love the keeper shirt, really toying with buying that too when I get back from Iceland tomorrow.

I dont like the home shirt or purple keeper shirt. I've got 50 pounds worth of club shop vouchers so could easily get the top for nothing but I just don't want it.

Collar is very 90s retro.

Training gear looks decent again, Errea do some good stuff and had it last season (not just for us but most sides they supply seem to have it)

Glad we went back to them after BLK despite the nice kits.

Its the worst Vale kit I can remember. Some seriously bad judgement just changing our historical colours just like that. Hoping the away kit is better.

It will (and has already) sell bucket loads. They've pulled off a marketing master stroke again

Had a look at mine yesterday, decent material but it is slightly off white, almost a cream and gold!

I think the whole thing about historical colours is a bit irrelevant to me any way. It's hardly the first time we've gone all white and anyone remember the 91-92 kit where we went silver and black for example? If really want to get into the historical side of things we once wore red and white stripes in the 1800's but suspect that may not sell quite so well if Vale attempted that one.

For me this is the best one we've done in a long time in terms of the home shirt but obviously it's all subjective really.

Not to mention black and white stripes in 2008/10 when we looked more like Newcastle than Vale.

We had the gold and black stripes as a home kit for a period in the 50s possibly? Maybe 60's so its not the end of the world and includes White and Gold which are two of the three colours.

Either way its a record breaker for first weekend sales so financially its been a master stroke.

We’ve already selected our new home kit for the 22-23 season, as voted for by members of the supporters trust.

Think it’s much better than this season’s and hopefully we will go back to our traditional black shorts.

My only gripe is that this shirt has a solid red panel at the back. Obviously this is so the player’s name and number can be clearly seen, but for me to buy the shirt, I’d prefer stripes on the back too.

You've announced your home kit for next year before our third kit for this year (announced in June) has even been produced.

Our 125th anniversary kit vote has finished and the winner is announced. A remake of the 1986/87 season kit where we won the league with 100 points. I think it’s lovely.

Follows on from our third kit which was our first ever colours:

Our away kit is also going to be a twist on a past favourite, and also another vote for the fans. 2/3 kits so far are belters, hope the away is the same.
