Guiseley 1 Darlington 4

Absolute footballing masterclass there. We hit the woodwork 3 times and generally just embarrassed Guiseley. They did get a consolation goal from a well struck free kick but didn't deserve it one bit.

0-8 would have been a fair reflection on the match, but I'll take 1-4 I guess.

That's more like it, won't be anybody that can handle a midfield trio of Hatfield, Wheatley and Holness! Streets ahead.

Well we finally got a little bit of luck and a deflection for Elliot Newby to give us the points. We did ok, thought Telford were poor eith odd exception, McHale looks a good player.
Their stream and commentary was the best I have seen so far this season.
Great to pick up 3 points at lzast.

Love it. Remember when they went full time and suddenly started talking about the Football League...... :fl:

Amazing game at Leamington last night. Alfreton 3-0 up at HT, Leamington score 4 in the second half to complete their comeback!

We're doing well but I'm so disconnected with it all, can barely listen to the games on the radio.

It sounds/looks like we've changed our philosophy and are a much more physical side which is what we've been crying out for since we got down here so I am glad we've finally adapted. We have a balanced & pretty experienced squad too, and probably is the strongest squad we've had since we finished 2nd in this division.

We are back after a two week COVID break which affected 4 of the players one of the managers and two backroom staff, we will see if this has any affect on our performance or not.

Chorley just announced signing of Willem Tomlinson, formerly of Mansfield and Blackburn Rovers, anybody any ideas any good?

I am keeping my feet firmly on the ground. However we have a very very solid defence. We are perhaps missing that killer instinct and cutting edge up front but its by far the best team we have had since our first season back at this level in 2015/16.

You sure? They didn't look much good to me.

Though, you were up against the best footballing side in the division today, to be fair.

Frustrating game ruined by a ref who felt the need to blow his whistle every 10 seconds every time a player hit the deck. Terrible officiating that didn't benefit either side and just ruined the flow of the game.

Another great goal for Austin though who must've eaten something throughout lockdown as he's a different player.

They've had an easy start, barely played anyone yet. No doubting they are a good side this year, but time will tell how good.

Boston and Kiddy both have looked very strong to me.

Haha. I was waiting for someone to pull me up for that. Haha. Darlington fully deserved their win today. Not good enough from us quite simply.
The games continue to come thick and fast.. lets see where we are in another week.

They are a decent side but we more than matched them before losing in the 93rd minute away from home, I really wish we still have Asante he could win a game on his own.

I think we'll be battling for lower playoffs/top half personally.

How much is the Harriers stream mate? Decent?

Here's the info. We had issues on our first game with Chester but had no issues since.

And to think we haven't change gears yet, if only we could put our chances away.

We live in hope with these referee's, but they'll never improve and this is with no fans on their backs. They were abysmal last season.

Happy with our point. Brackley’s a tough place to go, even if they haven’t had the best start to the season.

We had more and the better chances so disappointed we couldn’t edge it but can’t argue that a draw was probably the fairest result.

Good response from three weeks out and just one training session in that time.

Exactly, who's financing this incredible start to the season.
Their fans seem to think it's all sponsorship because of the massive interest in moving back home, plus increased ST holders etc.

No doubt interest will have increased as well as sponsorship.

I doubt it's increased enough to sign Asante from Chester, and all of the other signings. 99.9% sure someone will be putting a wedge in somewhere.

Feel the need to compliment Hereford on their streaming service, thought Telford was very good on Tuedsay but Hereford yesterday was even better, excellent commentary too, quick action replays using different camera angles, really, really professional, well done guys, well worth the Tenner!

Haven't played anyone yet

Spennymoor were many peoples favourites, we drew there.

Chester, Telford and Hereford all tipped to finish higher than us. We beat all of them.

Chorley were a NL club last season.

Anyway early days. Gateshead A midweek with some players missing will be a good test.

I wouldn't have tipped Hereford to be anywhere. Their signings really aren't inspiring

Ditto, but a lot of these tipsters go off reputation rather than quality of team which is why we were 30/1 before the seeson started.

I had a little chuckle when that was said earlier, you can only beat teams in front of you and would be very happy with that start.Agree Spennymoor,Chester and Telford are hard games but Hereford is a harder game for you being a local rival.
Watched the free stream again at Guiseley yesterday due to not playing again,Yes you are a good team and will stay near top, thought your keeper looked very dodgy though and defence is a weakness but going forward looked good.
Guiseley least tried to play yesterday and played it on ground a lot more than Tuesday against Darlo.
Darlo looked a good team but had some terrible results.
Not a chance York will win league to far behind with games and not a clue if any good, not played enough.
For me Boston rugby club will kick their way to win it.
