The other three turned up together during Jim Harvey's short but very eventful reign.

I watched them beat step 4 Leek a couple of weeks ago and Leek (who are no mugs) gave them a game at least in the 1st half; since then they’ve beaten step 2 Chorley and Chester and won in the opener yesterday: they could be a real threat to South Shields.

I'm not convinced the league is gonna be a walk in the park for South Shields. I could be wrong like? But i think Buxton and Matlock have a great chance of at least reaching the play-offs.

Not so sure on Matlock, watched them once this season and wasn't overly convinced but they've had a couple of good wins at home.

Buxton could well be up there, but they should with the money being chucked about.
