Curtis Anderson is an interesting one - won the U17 World Cup just a few years ago with England, left Man City for the USA and never got a chance anywhere since.

In the Northern Premier League - East

Adam Boyes has so far scored 42 times this season in all competitions for Marske United

25 of those have been in the league

And to think we once showed interest in this player but he ended up choosing Spendymoor Town to sit on the bench!

I would imagine with him being still only 21-year-old this is likely a stepping stone back into the full-time game for him. He kept a clean sheet at Matlock on his debut today.

I'm surprised we've never had him in on trial, as he's from Barrow and I think he's a fan. I'd like to think someone at the club has kept tabs on him.

In one respect you'd have thought so with him like you say coming from Barrow. I'd imagine now he'll be closely monitored with him being at Lancaster.

I was just reading in 2012 at the age of 11-years-old he moved from Blackpool to Manchester City for a fee of £15,000.

I see Grantham Town have both Elliott Durrell and Ricky Miller on their books now, that's quite a handful at the grade.

Grantham will be needing both to start producing the goods very quickly if they want to stay up at Step 3 this season and avoid dropping into Step 4.

He hasn’t had much to do in the games against Brackley and Southport but he's Looked very calm and assured, looks like a very good signing.

They've actually improved a little bit by drawing their last 3 games against decent opposition. Even so they'll most likely get relegated this season.

I totally agree looks a decent signing on paper and still very young and by all accounts made some great saves tonight at FCUM.

I see Elliott Durrell is captain for Grantham and both performing well. Ricky Miller scored twice at Warrington and Durrell got the other, also a good draw at Matlock tonight.

Will Atkinson put in another superb performance last night and has been tremendous since since Christmas. I would hazard a guess that when, as he will do at some time in the the next year to 18 month's, he leaves us it is highly likely he will Drop down to the NPL again. If he does, whoever he rocks up at, keep maintaining his fitness levels and you will have a hell of a player, as we are re-discovering now.

He was playing in National League North for Alfreton not NPL. Pleased he is doing well

Apologies, thanks for the correction, I knew he came back from Alfreton, couldn't remember what league they were in when he was with them.

No problem at all but we have been in the National League North since the year dot it seems with a short stint in the National League.

If, as alot of us suspect, he gets released in the summer, he would be good to get back and a much fitter and better player than left you.

I think you're getting Wyl Stanway and Curtis Anderson mixed up. Both are young keepers from Barrow. Darlo On Tour was on about Anderson not Stanway.

Jim Gannon has left Hyde United, their board say they have taken the 'difficult decision' as 'although there was an upturn in results at the end of 2021, matters have not progressed as well as was hoped since the New Year'

Bloody hell what do they want blood'

They've just had a great result against Warrington winning 2-1 and a good draw at Scarborough a couple of weeks ago.

He hasn’t done wel for them though and they have been below stalybridge and Ashton for a while.

Although I’d gave him more time he has shown he does improve things with time but isn’t a short term fix manager.

Possibly, looking good for them sitting at the top. They have won their last 6 games.

I wouldn't rule out the well supported Merseyside club Marine.

Workington deserve it, twice robbed by covid when looking a strong bet for the title, then finally get a long season and have competition due to marine’s cup run and lost manager.

May not like South Shields spending but they also deserve it from being robbed twice in row
